"Proximity is a big PLUS"
Hotel was nice. Showers have very high water pressure with tons of water coming out - a good soaking shower, but wasteful for those conservatives and painful for the sensitive spots. 2 Double beds is tight quarters for a family of four. In-house Restaurant was very good with gourmet touches. The $25 daily service charge is balanced with a evening après ski food of hot wings, mucho nachos, fresh baked cookies and Starbucks; and morning and evening ski valet. Proximity to Jackson Hole is a big PLUS.

"Teton village ski trip 15"
First visit to Teton village. Due to Expedia I got a great rate! When we arrived we were able to get a double bed room due to great staff who was from home town area and low capacity. Picked a good time. Easy access to slopes, ski valet, pool, spa facilities were all great amenities although at the normal pricing the facilities makes the faculties fee seem excessive. Overall a very satisfying experience. The sking is great- challenging terrain

"Buyer Beware - Hotel Fees a Rip-off"
Per the advertised "Daily Resort Fee" we were fully prepared to pay this. The website stated: "Hotel resort fee inclusions (may be listed elsewhere in this description as complimentary or available for a surcharge): Pool access, ski storage, newspaper, in-room coffee, in-room bottled water, concierge/valet service, valet parking, etc. There was no mention of any other fees in the website "description" & any reasonable person would not be expecting an additional Valet Parking fee, which I am not allowed to state the price here. So on checkout, we were charged an additional Valet Parking fee on top of the Daily Resort fee. For this additional Valet Parking fee, our car sat outside uncovered in the snow all week - we never even took it off the lot. The hotel manager didn't even have the courtesy to return my phone call questioning this additional fee. And Expedia said the words within the Parentheses above allowed the hotel to charge additional fees. Weasel words in my opinion - buyer beware - a rip off by an otherwise lovely lodge. We have stayed here before without any additional fees being charged, but never again.

"Great Hotel in a Great Location!"
My family stayed at Snake River from December 25th - 29th and had two rooms. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a nice size...not too big or too small and is great because of the proximity to the slopes. The lobby/bar area is a great place to hang out after the slopes close. We also enjoyed the stone outdoor hot tub...great to relax in after a rough day of skiing!

"Staycation"
We live in town and had a wedding close to the Snake River Lodge, so we only stayed one night. It's a beautiful hotel! The bellmen greeted us upon arrival. They valeted out car, brought my skis to storage and met us at the room with our luggage. My only complaint was that the room was very warm and we couldn't cool it down. Even when we turned the thermostat down to 60 and cracked the window. Other than that it was a wonderful experience.

"extra 25.00 a day resort fee is slap in the face"
This Olympic village motel is not convenient to anywhere. Soft Beds were the only good part. Very few dining and no shopping choices without driving 14 miles into Jackson Hole. Don't get stuck out here stay in Jackson Hole !!! Lots of great places there to stay and eat. Our mountain view room faced an exterior wall 2 feet away. The water pressure was so intense it was like taking a shower under a fireman's hose. The shower has no adjustment for a lower pressure. The toilets are air pressure assisted and can be heard through out the building flushing. I am a seasoned traveler and if we had not booked through a service with no way to back out I would have left for anywhere In Jackson Hole near by. Staff was helpful and moved us to what they called a better room view of the gaudy pool area . Hotel tacks on extra 25.00 per day for a RESORT FEE and 18.00 per day for valet park if you don't want to park in the un-lit lot far away with no drop off service.

"Not what we expected."
We recently stayed two nights here and we were disappointed. The air conditioner was ineffective and the room was stuffy, although we did not complain or otherwise notify the staff. While we were out in the area the first day all of our belongings were moved to a smaller room and we still have not received a valid reason for this. The second room although small was nice but you loudly heard each time the rooms adjacent flushed their toilet or used water faucets. We expected much better and will not stay at this hotel again although we intend to visit the area again in the future.

"eh..."
There really wasn't anything special about this hotel. The staff didn't really seem to care about us or that we were staying there. It felt like they just wanted not be bothered. Staff was more cold than friendly with the exception of one blonde girl at the front desk who was very nice. We were staying at the hotel for our one year wedding anniversary and the front desk staff didn't seem to care. We asked about the area and the girl at the concierge desk wasn't knowledgeable of the area at all. The room was clean (two queen beds) but was small. Our toilet was leaking but maintenance was quick to fix it. The hotel was clean in general but it felt old. The breakfast buffet wasn't worth the $20 per person it cost. The $25 resort fee is a rip off and aside from the wifi I am not sure what it is really for. All in all our stay was ok but nothing special as we had hoped. We won't choose this hotel again unless we are desperate for a room in the area. I felt the hotel was not worth the price we paid to stay there. I don't think this is a four star hotel, it is three and a half at best.

Our stay in this hotel was an overall good experience. Something not to my 100% satisfaction were: 1. Mattress was kind of old and was sagging toward the middle; 2. One of the bed skirt was torn. Likes: The restaurant in the hotel was good, and the servers were super friendly.

"Great place - surprise fees, tepid water"
I had a great room with a fireplace and nice bathroom. The room was well appointed with nice furniture and artwork. But the water in the bathroom would not get hot - just warm. This prevented me from really enjoying the jacuzzi plunge tub. Also, there is a "resort fee" which you will be charged above the fees listed here - be sure to check them out.

I almost cancelled this reservation due to recent, negative reviews that said the pool area was too loud. Well, from 10-11pm, the pool was silent. We had it to ourselves one night. It probably would have looked about garish in broad daylight with the painted interior pool area with murals and the faux boulders and waterall outside - but in the evening, it was charming with mood lighting, a hot tub hidden behind the waterfall, empty sauna, and firepit glowing. The water was chilly in the outdoor area but swimmable on the indoor pool area. I'm very glad I did not get scared away and change hotels - staying in the premium king room wing may have added to my positive experience. There was a beautiful, stone tiles bathroom with a round soaking tub that looked like a 1 person hot tub, nice flat screen tv, no real view outside, and gas fireplace that intermittently worked. You could hear ticking while it was on because it is set to a timer dial you turn which seems like a safety feature. Staff were helpful. This was not a super luxurious experience - but was very, very nice and I would stay again in a premium room that is in the small wing away from the lobby. It had its own two story lobby that was beautiful like a well-furnished living room. Walking distance to everything in Teton Village. Free parking lot is a slight trek away if carrying luggage.

"Hotel far from home."
The hotel lobby is very pleasing and comfortable, the rooms are nice nice but crowded and not used efficiently the space that is available. The hall ways on upper floors are hot like a sauna, and the view from our room was an alley way to another building. For the price it should have been a discounted room.

"Location is the only perk"
The location is the only perk of this overpriced hotel. The staff is rude or at best ambivalent to your presence. The view from our room included the yard where the local construction workers park their equipment. The toilet sounded like an alarm with a buzzer each flush. There is no service elevator so you share the elevator with staff members and their equipment nearly every trip. I asked the bartender for an empty plastic cup for the pool, he took one right off the top of the stack. As I walked away a a liquid dripped down my hand, upon smelling it I realized it was BEER!!! He gave me a used glass. Stay elsewhere!!!!

"Clueless Staff"
Oh Boy! It looked like the staff had been hired the day before and had no clue about anything. First, when we arrived the room was not ready. Fair enough: check in time is 4:00 PM. An experienced reception would check us in, give us a key to the spa area, call housekeeping and tell them to do our room first, and as soon as the room was ready they would send someone to tell us, and our bags would be in the room already. Instead they gave us a key to the spa area and told us to come back at 4:00 PM. That we did: when we came back they said that a room had been ready, but they had given it to someone else (?!). After ten more minutes they finally checked us in. Next, we asked the concierge to book a floating trip on the Snake river. "It leaves from the park's visitor center -she said- a 15 minutes drive from here". Actually it is a 30 minutes drive. The road is a rough road and the speed limit is 25 and when someone is coming the other way you basically have to stop. When we arrived at the visitor center there was nobody to be seen. We called concierge: "You will meet your party in the parking lot" they said. Nope. finally, they gave our number to the company organizing the trip and they called us. They were waiting in the lot across from the visitor center, some 300 feet away and absolutely invisible form the visitor's center lot. I will not bother to mention a few other minor mishaps.

"Expensive but nice"
My wife and I stayed here after visiting Yellowstone National Park. The lobby area is small but functional with a restaurant and a bar separated by a sitting area with a fireplace. We both loved the historic elevators with the normal door and then a sliding gate. There are also a lot of neat wooden sculptures of bears in the lobby. Pictures of the room with the beams are completely accurate and extremely comfortable. Our only real issues were with the high cost of the room ($300 a night $27.50 "resort fee") and then the mediocre food at the breakfast buffet ($20/person) the next morning. The food available is impressive to look at but it was all cold, from the scrambled eggs to both kinds of sausage, etc.

After checking out I noticed the fine print that indicated the hotel would charge a $25 resort fee per night. This should be included in the advertised price. Yes. I should have read the fine print. But now I will question all of Expedia's advertised prices. Our flight from Denver home was cancelled. United airlines was offering to put us up at the Quality Inn. And then not flying us out til the next evening. VERY DISAPPOINTED in United.

"Great Teton hotel"
Our first time as a family at the Tetons. We didnt realize this is also Jackson Hole. Beautiful, stunning location. We arrived later in the day. All the restaurants were closed and ordered room service, which was excellent. Then headed to the pool with our three kids after a long day in the car. Our family is a "water" family and cool pools are important when vacationing.... This pool has our kids approval for sure! The room was a king/sofabed room and it was very very comfy. We set up one extra bed and stayed for several nights. Literally right across from the riding stables and close proximity to everything in Jackson Hole (not the town of Jackson). We will come again, and would love to stay here!!
