"Nice resort, great location"
We were greeted by friendly staff and plenty of them. Check in was a breeze! The room was clean and everything we booked included. The resort is a stones throw from the boardwalk and Broadway at the Beach, both walkable. The resort itself has plenty to do and offer. We will be back!

"Breakers resort"
There are several hotels in a row that are "The breakers resort". Ours was a bit outdated, but it was fine and suited our needs. The lazy river was awesome, lots of other pools and hottubs to choose from also. We had a great time.
We had a great stay. I will definitely be looking at them again for the future.
"Great hotel but no coffee."
The staff was courteous and helpful. My room was quickly changed due to close access to noisy recreation area. But alas ! There were 2 cups, two spoons, a coffee pot but NO COFFEE ! No, I do not drink coffee at Starbucks.I've stayed in many hotels, and even the budget hotels offer coffee to start your day. Breakers management - Please bring back the […] coffee. Read more

"A mixed bag"
The first thing I would work on would be the elevators. The two in our building shook quite a bit, and needed a good cleaning. That is nothing compared to one of the two in the parking deck (located nicely across the street). One was fine. The other smelled like someone hid a dead fish in it. We kept saying "No dead fish" when we pushed the button for […] the elevators. As for the room, there were a few areas of improvement. Let me start by saying the room was spotless, and housekeeping was amazing. There was only two pillows on the bed, one apiece for myself and my wife. If you like lots of pillows, you need to bring some. Secondly, the room was described as having dishes, silverware, a full fridge, ect. Our ammenities were a coffee maker, two coffee cups, two spoons, a half fridge, and microwave. If you plan to save money by eating in, make sure you get a room more than that. The room came with an "ocean view". It came with a side view, between the gap with the neighbooring building (which was close enough you can talk to the people). As for the grounds, clean and very nice. The pools were clean, but sometimes crowded (with kids who wanted to splash and push you aside). If you like to float on the lazy river, I would advise early am (9) or late pm (after 7). The bar is awsome. Happy hour had half priced appitizers (two make a meal) and daily cheap drinks. Overall not a bad stay. Read more
There was stilll trash from the previous occupant, but overall it was a nicd hotel
"Would have rather stayed at the main tower"
Didn't realize there was a north breakers. The north bldg seemed to be a cheap replica of the main. When reserving this room, I thought I was staying at the main resort. What a disappointment.
"Days Inn"
Outside appearance is good. Great location. Hotel room was very dirty with the carpet coming up and bugs walking around. My wife took a shower and the tub was clogged. The bed that I sat on wasn't to bad actually but overall a bad hotel. Stay at The Breakers!
"Very convienent"
The Breakers Resort is always great. Affordable rooms, Starbucks and other snack and dining options right across the street, and close to Myrtle Beach Convention Center, where the event I was attending was located.
"GREAT PLACE GREAT RATES!!"
SUPER friendly helpful staff. We loved our stay and will be back :) It was a bit cold outside, so just wish the indoor pools would have been warm...we spent most of the time in the hot tub :)

"Worst "resort" ever been to!"
This was definitely the worst "resort" we have ever been to. Do not waste your money. When we tried to check in the staff ignored us even though there were no other customers. We were 6-7 blocks from the main resort which made it hard to use any of the amenities that drew us to this hotel. There was a very loud fan blowing on our floor that made it […] hard to sleep. Speaking of sleep, bring your own pillows, their pillows are completely flat. Next time we will stick to a hotel name we are familiar with. Read more

"know about your room"
Website showed an ocean front room, when i got there i was given an oveanview.....not the same, and they could not change it. Beds were old and caved inon one side.....need updating!
"Oceanfront"
I have stayed here several times before. i was disappoiinted when I checked in and I was in the Sailfish. I have always stayed in the Paradise or Palmetto. I stayed three nights and had to call the front desk for security to come because of the noise two of those nights. One of those nights it was 242 am. It has outdoor covered corridors instead of […] enclosed corridors, i don't know if other guests thought that the made it OK to be inconsiderate. I have never experienced this before while staying in the other buildings. Staff nice and the rooms are very clean. I will stay here again but I will stay in the Paradise or Palmetto. Read more
The hotel room that I received was horrible. It looked as if it was rundown. My sheets were dirty and the room had a foul smell to it. The bathroom was awful. When I went to the desk and told them that I wasn't satisfied with the condition of my room they told me that I had to pay in order to switch rooms.

"You get what you pay for"
The hotel was clean but small rooms. The balcony was nice but every time we wanted to go outside and enjoy the view there were always people smoking!! Double beds were not comfortable. It is not connected to the main hotel - 6 blocks away- but we were able to use their pools and etc. My husband booked this hotel on Hotels.com thinking we were staying […] at main Breakers resort. You get what you pay for! Read more
"The Breakers Resort in Myrtle Beach - Very Nice"
Taxes and fees added about 20% to the room rate. The view from the balcony was of Ocean Blvd which had much traffic, both pedestrian and vehicular. There was much noise entering thru the balcony door and curtain. I would recommend that others staying here try to get a room on a floor much higher than the 2nd where we stayed. The parking deck was very […] handy. We enjoyed our stay but we may not stay there again. Read more
"Good but not great!"
We stayed in the breakers resort for three nights and had a comfortable stay. Although I booked an oceanfront Suite, we always felt boxed in. The bedroom was small and the bathroom even smaller. The access to the beach is great, lazy river is awesome and the view of the sunrise priceless.

"Very run-down"
Must have been good at some point. No longer the case.
"Loud and boisterous"
I could every door in the building shut and every stuck sliding door squek, ours would barely open at all. People fought outside in the street all night long. The only use=able pool was closed. No thanks.

"Hotel at Myrtle Beach B"
This was the worse stay I've ever experienced. It was very noisy, didn't get any rest while there. Our neighbors were very loud and I could hear every conversation. They also took the initiative to knock on my door screaming and yelling until I yelled back and they apologized stating that it was their children knocking on the door. I was very disappointed […] as I traveled 300 miles to relax and it was a failure. Read more

"On the Beach"
The hotel is right on the beach which made for nice views from our room. The hotel is old and you will not feel as if you are in a modern type hotel. You will have to walk from registration to another building and also park in another area. This wasn't such a big deal. I like more modern hotels, that is just my preference but I needed to make a last […] minute reservation. If you like NEW, UPDATED hotels this would not be the one for you. Our room was clean but the beds were horrible. VERY uncomfortable. Small balcony but sufficient for our stay. There weren't too many people there but when someone did take a room next to us we definately heard them and it was very loud. Starbucks is right across the street which was nice. For the price it was a good place. I will definately spend more money next time to stay in a newer hotel with more amenities. But again just because that is my preference. Read more
"Nice Place"
Nice Place for the money. Parking not the greatest but same as all the other places on the beach.
"Breakers Resort - Myrtle Beach"
Besides being a nice place to stay, the hotel also has friendly welcoming and housekeeping staff.

"Breakers Resort, Myrtle Beach SC"
Room was nice. only stayed for two nights, but while packing up to leave found a bunch of wadded up toilet paper at foot of the bed that was not from us, and was extremely disgusted that linens could not have been washed or the toilet paper wouldnt have been totally intact still. Unfortunate because it seems like rest of the hotel was pretty nice. Washing […] linens between different customers should be mandatory and supervised more closely. Read more
"The Breakers - Myrtle Beach"
While a nice hotel [staff very friendly] it is a confusing place to check into. There are numerous buildings and difficulty in knowing which one to go to first plus the "pull in area" was limited. I was surprised that for the amount paid there was not at least a continental breakfast included. But then, the hotel owns a restaurant across the street […] where you can buy breakfast. The worst, my husband and I thought, was that there was a coffee pot in the room, also two cups but no coffee. We were told that we should have brought our own. but then, the hotel suggested that we go across the street to Starbucks - which they own the franchise to? - and buy coffee there. A little thing, but important. Read more
