Second rate hotel that's out of date. Old tube TV with limited channels. The sink is outside the bathroom so everyone is up when the first person gets up to get ready. The water temp indicator on the shower was missing. Lots of dust and dirt in the corners and in the hallways and the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

Rooms were very clean. pleasant and comfortable. Enjoyed the fact that the room had recliner. Used all of the amenities, wireless Internet, microwave, and refrigerator, which was previously plugged in and chilled when we checked in (not all hotels do that). No flat screen TV, but it had RCA plug inputs for portable DVD hookup.

This is a bank owned property(according to the manager) it appears that minimal effort has been made to keep the place open until it can be sold. No Internet in rooms furthest away from lobby. The water in the tub and lavatory was luke warm at best. The continental breakfast was horrible. It was a cold night so it was good that the room heater worked […] well. I would like to say that this is a good hotel, but I just can't. From the flag that covered the old Belmont hotel sign (that was falling off), it didn't give me a good impression. Then checking in using old sign in procedures which I haven't seen in a while. The elevator reeked of smoke (as did the hallways). Friendly staff, hotel just needs an uplift and better housekeeping. Missed the driveway and had to turn around, could use a sign. Outside appearance is great. I had a friendly greeting and easy check in for my three night stay. Elevator has seen better days and buttons needed to be punched to get them to work. (+++)I suggested a friend to get a room at the hotel, she had no phone in room to call and tell front desk about noise from MS fans making noise in hall ( I was further down the hall and didn't hear them. The pool looked great we just wished we had had the time to use it. There was mildew/mold on the shower curtain, no tissues or toliet paper. When we said we didn't have any he asked us if we wanted any then. Breakfast was gross, waxy fruit, only apples to choose from if you didn't want waffles.

The staff was some of the worst that I have ever personally dealt with. It took 20 minutes to check in, because 2 of the staff members were talking about their personal lives and the other staff members were too busy playing poker to worry about doing anything. We then asked the front desk if they could help us find a cab later in the evening and we […] were told they were swamped at the front desk and it would be about 20 minutes. We waited 20 minutes and one of the other guests that was staying with me went to check and see if the person at the front desk had found any numbers and they were sitting in another room with other hotel employees playing cards and said they couldn't help us. Same thing happened on the way back. The person at the front desk would not answer the phone for our cab driver to give him directions, because they were on the phone. We found this out, because we managed to direct our cab driver back while still trying to call and walked in the front door and the phone was just ringing while the person at the front desk was talking on their personal phone. check in process was slow, breakfast was a disaster. Went down to eat before 9 am and almost everything was gone. All tables dirty - had to clean my own. Didn't use the pool but noticed it was not very clean. 3 people were staying in the room but they only had one bath towel in it.

I will stay at this hotel in the future. It is a bit out of the way from the city but not by much. The staff is friendly and the hotel is nice. I visit the area a couple times a year and I have stayed at other hotels and this was the nicest.
