Poor nighttime service (doors are locked, I couldn't get in, nobody at front desk to open door) 2. Loud housekeeping: the staff play loud music and disturb guests. They also pound on doors to announce they are there--even when the do not disturb […] sign is up 3. Construction in hotel without any warning! Construction woke me up. Hotels should be required to tell you this before booking. Or they should ask you at check in where to put you in hotel. 4. Poor snow removal in parking lot. Great service at this hotel. Stayed there with friends on the evening before our departure out of great falls airport...left our car at the hotel...walked across the street for dinner and drinks and, since we were walking, no one had to be the designated driver. Our room was about 80 degrees and adjusting the thermostat did nothing to help. Several other people staying in the hotel told me they had similar issues and when i mentioned it to the staff they did not seem to want to address the issue, but when some friends complained they received a discounted room rate.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Refrigerator and individual thermostats (no noisy window units) were plusses. The outdoor dog area is big enough to throw balls or frisbees and located in close proximity to the exits. I will return when I go back for another event.

We stayed during the week before Labor Day. The room was almost identical to a Holiday Inn Express that we'd stayed in two days prior in Minnesota. Room was comfortable and clean. Had extra pillows in the closet and that earned bonus points with me. The laptop desk desk was a handy touch. Wi-fi was slow, but usable.

Unforunately I lost my car keys in the hotel and they were never found. I checked with hsouekeepingt and other staff and most of them were not even informed that I lost them. I checked survieillance but they did not go further to see if any one picked something up in the area where they were likekly lost. I asked about the key drop box and they did […] not havd a key to open to check and the only person to be able to open was on vacation. They no longer had the car rental service that used the key drop box. So, luckiy I had my valet key as a backup. Never heard back whether the keys were ever found. For the most part, I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Great Falls. I liked having a fitness facilty, pool and spa on the premises, as well as the shopping center, grocery store, movie theater and restruarants across the street. Minor problems included tub not draining properly, housekeeping not cleaning my room one day and no bathmat on another day. […] The vending machine in the laundry room took my money and didn't give me the product I was buying. Hotel staff did take care of the problems for me in a timely manner and even scared up some fabric softner sheets for me. I had purposely booked the Hampton because it served a full breakfast (I'm on a restricked diet). The oatmeal was gummy, country gravy awful, scrambled eggs dry and sauage looked uncooked. Southwestern Omlette was good as were the waffles. I also appreciated the fruit and yogurt. Pastries and afternoon cookies looked delicious, but unfortunately, I couldn't eat them. Overall, the place was an ok stay. It was my second visit in as many years. My biggest complaint was that the water temperature in the shower would NEVER stay constant. One second it would be scalding and the next, ice cold. I've never stayed in any hotel that has had this terrible of temperature control over their hot water. Next, the shower corners […] were black with mildew. C'mon people, you clean these daily. There's no excuse for crud like that to be growing! The other two issues that brought my review down were the fact that the floors/ceilings are very thin. I was on the ground floor and could hear people stomping around above me. Most hotels I've been in had cement layers between floors (or at least I thought there was) because I could never hear people above me. The final issue I had was a personal one. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. One whiff and it turns my stomach and begin coughing for hours. I was in a nonsmoking room, but I could smell smoke from someone in the middle of the night and it was either coming from an adjacent room or from outside as I was 5 doors down from the side exit. In either case, I was not happy waking up to the stench of someone's secondhand smoke! I'm planning on staying there again for Christmas, but will specify that I'm on the top floor and that there is no smoking anywhere around me. Everything else was good. When we travel, more and more we pick Hampton Hotels as the "home away from home" to stay in. They are clean and comfortable. For a mid priced hotel they did a superb job. Room was comfortable, everything worked, it was clean and noise levels next door even with a crying youngster was tolerable. Walking distance to several decent eating places. A five star Four Seasons, no. A good place to stay in Montana, absolutely.

It's not the Four Seasons, but for a hotel at this level, this Hampton Inn is outstanding. Clean rooms that are nicely appointed, a pleasant, helpful staff, a simple breakfast with excellent coffee, all at an affordable price!

The Great falls location was super clean, and the staff was very helpful, and accomidating. The hotel staff even came to pick me up from the airport, using their shuttle service. The hotel allowed me to leave my car there for 10 days while I was on vacation with no additional charge. I therefore did not have to leave it at the airport.
