Decent four star hotel for the money. Its a train/tube ride into the centre of Rome but it was not a problem at all.We took our car to the local station(5 minutes away) left it all day for free.If you dont have a car the hotel provides a shuttle.Breakfast was reasonable.Opposite the hotel is a well priced supermarket for the bits you may require. Would stop again at the price if i was going to Rome again

I was very happy with the service from the staff at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good and filling. The hotel does provide a bus shuttle to the train station but you do need to book this. We were 60 euros in taxi from the airport to the hotel. The air conditioning in the room was not working properly and they only had one spare pillow in the room.

We stayed there for two nights and although it takes about 25mins to get to the A line in central Rome, it's still well worth it. The staff are friendly, food is great, and the rooms were nice. Although there are some negative views about this place, these were all made in 2007, I think they must have had work done because now its a really good hotel.

The hotel was fine, but we'd never have found it without the navigation system in our rental car. Also, while it's a nice hotel, we arrived in the dark and the neighborhood seemed a little dodgy. Parking lot is well-lit at night, and seems secure enough, though. The night clerk was very nice, very accommodating. We stayed here the last night of a 2-week vacation in Italy, thinking it would be convenient to the airport. Although we arrived quite late and left quite early the next morning, I'd probably stay here again. The real problem was finding it the first time.

Let's just say the hotel needs some better customer service. Keep in mind this was are 4th hotel on are 3 week trip in Italy. You need a GPS to find the hotel. We had one, so we found it with no problems, but I can see how you could get lost trying to find it. The girl at the front desk was not helpful and we had simple questions like, How much is internet use and what time does the restaurant open? The room was clean and roomy. The hotel is not close to anything expect the highway. We needed a place to stay for one night because of are early flight in the morning. So if you need to stay here for that reason only that this place will do, but other the that forget about it. We went to the grocery store which was steps away for dinner because the restaurant didn't open till 7:30pm that night. The hotel is not 4 stars.

The hotel is far from where the action is, but we knew this in advance. We had a rental car and only wanted to stay there for one night at the end of our vacation so we can hop onto the highway and go straight to the airport which is about 25 minutes away. When we got to the hotel, it felt as if the place was deserted. We felt as if we were in a twilight zone and like we were the only ones there (which is not a bad thing). My point is; even though the staff was totally not busy, they were definitely not friendly and not too willing to help such as getting directions, restaurant etc? especially Francesca, it's like you're bugging her. I live in the United States where service is the life line for any business. If any hotel had a few people like the ones that work at the Prime Hotel Roma Cassia, I guarantee they'll be out of business fast. We had a great experience with the service at 3 other hotels we stayed at in Rome, Florence and Venice and by far this hotel was the worst.

Location is far far away from city. If you're not planning spending your money on cabs (price depends on the cab driver but at least 30 Euro), you've to take one train and one subway, each takes 20 to 30 minutes. This does not include the waiting time for the train. The staff was rude, unattentive to our questions. We had to wait nearly one hour, although we've arrived AFTER the check-in time. We had backpacks, and we were very tired, that waiting time was very very unnecessary. When we said, we had a question, one of the staff said us he had many questions too!!! Weirdo! But, the rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is alright. I would not stay here again because of its location. Try to find a hotel closer to city central.

Hotel is really nice -- location is the only downside. What's bad: It is about 5 minutes walk down a dusty narrow alley to a busy street -- and then the only restaurant within walking distance is Pony Pizza. What's good: the pizza place is great! The hotel provides a scheduled shuttle to the Las Giustiana train stop, and from there it is a 1-euro, 25 min ride to the San Pietro station -- a 5-min walk on to Vatican City. There is a Toadi food store right along the alley (very low prices!) and a Conad food store up the busy street. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful!

My expectations may be high but here is my assessment: About a half hour from Central Rome. Because of a half day Metro and bus strike, the hotel shuttle service would not take us to Rome as reserved the night before. Dirt, bumpy roads to get to the hotel. No place to really venture out so stuck eating at the very expensive hotel restaurant. My party of three ordered shrimp dinner but the shrimp was soggy and tasted very old. The dessert was good. Soggy scrambled eggs for the breadfast buffet; otherwise, the croissants were good. Rooms decent but the air condition would not remain on, so you had to continually press the air condition button for it to stay on for about a minute or two. Overall, I am assuming that for the price we paid, we probably got what we paid for. The hotel was at least clean and we felt relatively safe.

This Hotel was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Note to anyone travelling around the city, buy your bus/metro tickets at the front desk. It was a little out of the way (outside the city limits) but that was part of it's charm, the rooms were very comfortable and like everywhere else i've stayed in Europe they had twin beds. A taxi ride to get there from the Termini will cost about 20-30 euros and take about 30 mins depending on traffic, it is much cheaper to use the metro and take the bus 3 stops but the walk from the bus stop is down a hill. on the plus side if you get to the bus within 75 minutes of validating your ticket for the metro you're ride from the city center will only cost you 1 euro. I had the best time while in Rome and this hotel was a great place to stay the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet.

Comunque ottimo hotel!
