Baymont Inn & Suites Willows - Willows

No complaints here, really. It was pretty clean. Seemed pretty modern and not one of those old rundown hotels. The rooms themselves were more inviting than the halls (sometimes smelled kind of smokey). AC worked great. Breakfast in the morning was simple and adequate. I would stay there again and would recommend it.

We have stayed in 4 different Hotels in Willows. I prefer this one over the other three. It is clean, comfortable and close to the track. The freeway is right there, but the noise is not overwhelming like in some hotels that are next to freeways. It is convient for us to head to Thunderhill and close to restraunts.

Marie at the front desk was outstanding... exactly the kind of smile and friendliness that you hope to deal with after a long trip. The master suite was awesome, but the in-room jacuzzi shot black soot-like stuff out the jets and pretty much killed the jacuzzi experience. Handy to I-5, very nice room for the price. Unfortunately it's still impossible to combine smoking and non-smoking rooms in the same facility. The hallway REEKED of second-hand smoke and my room had that saturated odor even though I don't think anyone had actually violated their policy. The stuff just cree[s in over time regardless. Also, no amenities […] in the room - no list of restaurants, local sights, etc. And no extra toilet paper. Seemed like they were doing cutbacks all around. We found this to be the perfect stop along our way to Chico, CA after flying into SFO in the afternoon. There was a modest breakfast, comfortable and quiet sleep, and the desk staff was really helpful to recommend a restaurant next door that had OK (C+) Mexican fare at a late hour on Sunday.

My first time staying at this hotel and my 3rd stay in Willows, CA. Good deal for a bargain hotel in Willows, especially if you're visiting the racetrack. Room was pretty clean though not the newest. indoor pool looked nice but I arrived too late to try it. Free continental breakfast was good in quality but a little skimpy on variety. I think the yogurts […] were all "light" or diet yogurts, which I don't eat. Front desk person was friendly for checkin. I would definitely stay there again. Got a really good price but price may vary on how busy things are, that is when something big is happening at the track, prices are probably much higher. Read more

Good value for the price. We were traveling with elderly parents, and this was our 5th night in a row staying in motels in different cities. Service was good and our room was quiet, comfortable, and met our expectations. The recliner in our room was broken but was still usable in its upright position.

It's amazing, Denny's, Black Bear, McDonald's, and many of our other favorite restaurants are within an easy short walk. The included breakfast is pitiful, and the coffee is average at the Baymont. Location is just at the fringe of 4G, but WiFi is free and works good. Easy to park your car outside any room's window (to keep an eye on it).

When I first walked in to the room I was assaulted by a heat wave. Someone had left the heat lamp on in the bathroom, which had made the entire room sweltering. There was no fan in the bathroom, so I just had to open the door and window in the hope of blowing some of that heat out (while jacking the AC to it's highest setting). Next, upon inspecting […] the room I found a pair of boxer shorts and socks in a drawer! That just grossed me out. I didn't even want to think what the sheets might be like if the maids didn't even take the time to check all the drawers! I informed the front desk and asked for a new room. 2 hours later I was given another room. This one was freezing cold and had a bug on one of the beds! They never offered me a discount or anything. The only thing I got was a message from the front desk girl (who was the only pleasant part of this experience): "The owner said to say he's sorry." Read more

General cleanliness of this particular hotel could have been much better. Dusty, cigarette smell permeated almost every portion of this building. Room smelled stale, and keys didn't work after numerous trips to the front desk to rectify. With other options in this small town, I would more than likely stay elsewhere on future trips.

I left with a balance owed printout in hand - for the same night - after making payment through this site for my trip. The second billing address was in Texas - and I live in California. The clerks questioned - but couldn't correct the situation - even though it didn't make sense. Just keep track of printouts and watch out for your Credit Cards

Very clean and quiet location. The swimming pool was closed when I checked in, but it was in service after 6 PM. The room I was given was an handicap accessible room, but it worked out very well. Breakfast options were slim, but very good.

Not particularly impressed. Tv/Cable was terrible. Remote taped closed? the location was convenient to Thunderhill racetrack. Blanket had tears. Mildew in shower.
