"Breakfast needs a make over"

Breakfast was a joke - short staffed - not enough food for everyone - kept running out. Employees didn't hustle when items were out or needed.

Good quality hotel, close to airport. Not much to do in the (safe) neighborhood.

It was Memorial Day weekend and given the prices of all of the other hotels, this was a nice value. We were in town for a college class reunion and the location of the hotel made it easy to go back and forth to Providence. Very convenient! The workout room was well stocked with fresh towels and water. The staff was friendly and fairly responsive when out toilet backed up. Overall, out stay was quite nice and we'd stay there again for sure.

Having stayed at other Marriott Coutyard hotels, I knew the layout and decor we would find. I did not expect to be first given a room that had been occupied--bed messed up, ice dumped in the sink--nor did I expect to find the second room dirty--hair and dust in the bathroom, shoeprints on the bathmat. Were the towels and sheets in the room in which we stayed merely smoothed out and reused without washing? I am not sure!We certainly had no confidence that they were any cleaner than the obvious dirty mat and floor. Furthermore, the receptionist had told us that the hotel was full but easily found us the second room when the first one turned out to be not ready.

I was disappointed to find out that the fitness room and the internet required an extra charge. There was no free Disney Channel, only "Disney on Demand," for an extra fee. The pool closed at 8:30 p.m., which seemed too early. There was no airport shuttle. Just after we checked out, we realized we'd forgotten something in the room. It took security 35 minutes to get someone with a functioning master key to let us back in, and we had a taxi waiting!
