"Good value for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Flawless check in, room was ready, friendly customer service and the room was nice.
"Great value!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This hotel was a great value for the money. The man at the front desk who checked me in was kind, helpful, and happy to do his job. More service industry workers need to be like him. The biggest thing I would change is the comforters on the bed and a bit of maintenance or updating. Also, there were some noisy hotel guests, but nothing out-of-control. I would gladly stay there again when driving through.

My stay was great. Everyone was friendly. Made me feel at home.
"Would stay here again"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Great condition of hotel. Friendly staff. Located near plenty of restaurants. A slight bit off the beaten path for our trip but overall a hearty recommendation here.

"Great downtown location"
The street trolly is within a block of the hotel and is free if you are going downtown. If you are bothered by traffic noise make sure you get an inside room. I was bothered by the room's A/C turnning itself on and off during the night.
"average stay"
Rooms are clean but small & outdated. You enter from the outside so you feel like second class citizens to the rest of the guests in the main quarters. To use indoor pool, you have to go outside to get there. Ice machine is no whete near the outdoor rooms. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel that's centrally located, this hotel will saffice. […] if you want a romantic get-a-way, or any extras, book somewhere else. Read more

Great...they had to upgrade our room, so woo-hoo!
Everything was great but the beds. The bed was so hard neither my husband nor myself could sleep. It's such a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms that it's a shame the beds aren't even tolerable.
Very nice hotel. Close to public trans (light rail)

This is one of the top 5 places to stay in SLC. The service is always fantastic and the rooms are immaculate. Unlike most hotels/motels, they actually use something besides 25-watt bulbs, so the rooms are bright and well lit. The restaurant offers value for the price paid, and the food is always well-prepared and beautifully plated. I recommend this […] hotel to all my friends. Read more
"little america"
quite enjoyable. wired internet worked well.
A high quality hotel a short ride to Amtrak-room svc called to say dinner would be late which I appreciated
Not modern, but classic.
"Close to downtown where our son lives."
For the most part the stay was pleasant. We did have problems sleeping the last night we were there. There must have been something going on because people in the room on the floor above (and/or next door) were EXTREMELY loud- -fell asleep way after midnight because of the noise. The hotel itself is nice. We were there 3 nights & 2 days.

"Salt Lake City"
Very close to the downtown area and the free trolley that runs through the downtown area and to Temple Square, the new City Creek Mall and Salt Palace Convention Center.

The best place to stay in Salt Lake City, have stayed there before and will continue when visiting in the future
"Perfect Hotel"
Excellent!!! My family has used this hotel since it was first built and went by the name of Covey's. We got a suite for an incredibly inexpensive rate. It was a steal. The room was spotless, beautiful, and very sensibly laid out. Something I always need is an extra outlet by the bed which isn't being used by a hotel lamp or radio. Little America had […] plenty of extra outlets. The amenities were good, too. The bathtub was a large oval-shaped tub with an extended shower curtain encircling the tub. We really liked that. Room service had our meals there in 25 minutes. The food was amazing. Inside the main hotel there were excellent restaurants and great little shops. The hotel location is perfect. It is very centrally located. I honestly wouldn't stay anywhere else in Salt Lake City. Read more

"Disappointing"
Our room smelled like an old smokers room. The furnishing were like something from 30 years ago, other than the flat screen. The bed was very uncomfortable. The chairs were not something someone could sit back in and relax. The room however, was very large and would have been wonderful with more comfortable furniture. The swimming pool was so cloudy […] you couldn't see the bottom and there were so many leaves and other things floating in it that it was not inviting at all. The staff was kind and friendly. There was an extra set of doors at the entrance to our room, thinking it might make things quieter we shut them. Instead the neighbors banged around on them close to 30 times after 11pm. The cafe was over priced for only average food. So disappointed to see that Little America has not kept the standards up in this hotel with Grand America across the street. Read more
"Little America Hotel"
Was a very nice experience. Some elegance and vintage charm mixed with friendly staff. Prices were very reasonable. Pool was being remodeled in April so I would think this will be nice feature come summer 2012. Whether traveling for business or taking family on a vacation, it would be a great locationa and atmosphere.
"Good Loaction"
We loved our stay here because we could walk to much of the night life. Front desk service was fantastic and main lobby is beautiful although the rest of the hotel is showing its age. All in all I'd recommend it if you are staying in SLC and want to be in the center of most attractions.

"Little America close to TRAX and downtown"
Very satisfied and will definitely stay again.
Beautiful hotel and very clean. The hotel restaurant was very good with wonderful rolls and muffins!
"Excellent value"
We had a beautiful room right downtown, close to the new mall. The tower room was almost a suite... LR great king bed, dressing room with bathrooms and another sink and beautiful oval tub in BR. Great restaurant and bar too! Easy access to the interstate
"Inexpensive Elegance"
Little America is one of the best values in SLC. It has the class of a 5-star hotel, with options to fit different budgets. It's proximity - across the street from a light rail stop makes it easily accessible. A highly-recommended stay.

"Little America in Salt Lake City"
Very good room for the price, very clean. The staff was very friendly and the hotel is in very good shape. Very good location right at the start of the free TRAX zone for any downtown area attraction. EZ access from the airport and good location for a quick trip to Park City or either Big or Little Cottonwood. The food was very good in the hotel as […] well. Read more
"Loved the Tower! Worth the upgrade!"
We have stayed at Little America a few times over the years for different reasons! We have always upgraded to the tower for a better view! I believe the rooms are nicer as well! Fun hotel..romantic! Half the price of the Grand America.....just as fun!
"Quick visit to SLC with grandchildren"
This is a great hotel in a great location. Only one problem: The wi-fi was not available. We called the desk but there was never any wi-fi service or any explanation. Otherwise a top notch place
"Exceptional except the noise in the ceiling"
The hotel was a great location and nice and clean and big rooms for the price. There was this high pitched noise in the ceiling that came on every so often that was quite annoying. We weren't in a lot so we didn't bother to call and slept fine. We were tired and wasn't so annoying to keep us awake but very noticeable sound. We mentioned when checking […] out and they were going to look into it (also said they would have moved us if asked.) Did not ruin our stay at all. Great trip and would definately stay again. The location and price can't be beat. Read more
"Big room"
We got a King room in the tower and it was huge. Very luxurious. Just needed a fridge, but everything else was great. Nice big tub, also.

"Little America, Salt Lake City"
Hotel is very nice. The reservation and check in process was very difficult. The hotels computer systen did not have my reservation information and when given the conformation number, they still were not able to provide a room. After several attempts to get assistance from the manager, a rude individule finally contacted Hotels.com and got it worked […] out. All of this took over an hour to complete. After that Very Nice accomodations. Read more
"Really nice quiet stay"
We've stayed here a few times over the years and have never felt ripped off or treated poorly. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable. There is a light rail station right outside the doors that will take you to the downtown attractions for free. We never heard any people noise, but, unfortunately our room was next to a noisy elevator shaft. […] All in all a great stay. Read more

"Little America Hotel, SLC, UT"
I was satified with Room in the main tower. Original booking with Hotels.com stated "Courtside". I did not realize nor made aware at time of booking that this was a room in a separate building off the main lobby/tower. I had to pay extra to stay in the main tower.
