Love this place.I have been going there before became it Marriot.They have done a wonderful job with the interior of the building.The free complimentary breakfast is great.I really enjoyed my stay.

We spent 2 nights there while were were in town for a small vacation. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even down to giving my daughter a small gift basket after we had checked out and were leaving.

Be aware that valet parking is $19 a night and is not required. When this was the Oceans Sands valet parking was free and required.

We had two rooms, the first was far from the elevator and the bed sagged a bit. They quickly accomdated us to near the elevator in a better room overall. The beds were great there. We were there a week so the in room laundry, cook top, full size refridgerator were all well used and appreciated. As was the Wifi, and for my work, the plugin network. We stayed here for the last two weeks of July. When we first arrived, we thought we may have made a mistake. The pool was full of sand. The ocean color was cloudy, not the blue water pictured on their website. The next day, we started to feel better about the hotel. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast is delicious. […] The best part of the hotel is the beach. The water is blue, calm and warm. You can take long walks on the beach. Sometimes the water becomes cloudy because of the seaweed brought in by the waves. But it gets cleared up daily. The pool is a bit small however. There is a kids club full of great activities for kids. There is also water sports at the beach for a fee. The restaurant is small but lovely with great service. And some nights they provide entertainment. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from a Casino for those interested. This hotel is dog friendly and you can take your dog right out on the beach at the hotel too. Room was big, clean, and comfortable. The hot breakfast included with the room had a huge array of foods to choose from....waffles, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, potatoes, etc. We had a fantastic time here and would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here! We did have to wait about an hour later for our room when we checked in but it was worth it b/c we asked if there was an upgraded room available and they gave it to us! However, our microwave and washer did not work. So they let me use another room that was very close to our for the washer. So, I got to see the standard […] room and it was huge! Every room has a side ocean view and the double rooms have the nicer balconies and more straight on to the ocean. The beach was clean and not crowded. The pools were nice, the spa was amazing and the staff were great! If you want a relaxed beach and family friendly vacation spot this is the place for you! The great thing is that there are a lot of things to do close by with just a short drive. (Good year blip tour, try CAP's place restaurant, Fort Lauderdale beach is about 15 min., butterfly world,) Also, the free breakfast was excellent!!! Booked room because hotels.com billed it as having a sofabed. We were told at the hotel that no rooms have sofabeds. We had an irning board but no iron. Requested one but never got it. We had coffee but no coffee maker. We had hair conditioner but no shampoo.

Hotel was average with a beachfront. My back is killing me as the mattress had a valley in the middle, poor sleep as a result. The breakfast was passable, not great. Not much within walking distance. Had to drive to go to decent restaurants, shopping, etc.. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Over all the hotel was good and the staff was excellent. We rented a suite with another couple and had to walk through one bedroom to get to the other which was not good, and not explained when booking room. Our shower had a makeshift shower head that squirted water out of the shower and all over the floor no matter how you tried for it not to. On top of that the valet backed our car into another car and left it like that in the lot for us to find the next morning. Overall the stay was good, pool clean, and great location on beach. Hotel customer service was very responsive. Called in advance to request special site and the desk clerk accomodated and remembered the call when we check in! A rare one indeed. Loved the partial ocean view with "down the beach". Could hear the ocean from the balcony. Breakfast was nice and the room was spacious for 4 people.

We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again. Very clean. Only problem was restaurant was understaffed. Only one person running the bar and waiting on tables. We waited for almost 30 minutes and left without being waited on. But overall, really nice, clean, comfortable and great beach access.

When we showed them our reservation form from Expedia they moved us to larger room with a sitting area and larger bath. They failed to be honest with us and lost our trust. This is a very clean, no frills hotel that offers a good FREE breakfast, clean rooms that are very nice sized. We had 3 kids and my wife and I and there was plenty of space. The pool is nothing fancy and there is really no place to walk to, except for the beautiful beach right at the property.
