This was an excellent stay. I go to the Decatur area about three or four times a year for business and this was my first time using these facilities...great choice. It is a good location, the staff was helpful, and the hotel clean.

Late,First night had sewer smell in bathroom. In the am we told the clerk at the desk. She was to put in a work order, and it was never found. Waited until we got back in hotel late the 2nd night, and roommate noticed also. Manager had us move late that night to another room. We were never given any comp for at least one of those 2 nights we had this inconvenience in our stay. Hotel found leaking of methane gas from sewer being sucked back inside from a broken fan. The hotel possibly could have had an explosion.

"it was an ok stay."
the hotel itself was nice. the rooms smelled a little weird. the TV was very old with not very many hookups. the beds were VERY firm, so i didn't find it very comfortable. it was like sleeping on a carpeted floor. rooms had fridge and microwave so that was fine. the rest of the stay was good. nice play overall.

"Cold shower, smoky room"
Bathroom floor was sticky, and towels smelled smoky. I lost hot water two out of three showers I took. If you wait with shampoo in your hair for 5 minutes it usually comes back eventually. My non-smoking room smelled like smoke and had burn marks and tears in the carpet. Almost checked out 15 minutes after checking in but all 3 days were pre-paid and […] non-refundable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping did their job. But the staff was not at all accommodating and did not give me the room I had reserved and would not change it. They said that hotel.com booked the room non-smoking when I had requested smoking and they were not willing to make the change. "Limited Staff"
This hotel had very few staff. It definately cut corners. Towels were old and frayed. Sheets did not fit properly causing them to slide and bunch . Elevator not cleaned during entire 5 day stay. Continental breakfast was very limited
"Days Inn and Suites in Huntsville AL"
Was a very pleasant stay peaceful and quiet. The bed was great and my husband and I slept quite well. Even tho it was not a wheelchair acts single chair it had plenty of room for the chair .

Hotel was clean, room was clean, wifi sucked and the breakfast is not worth advertising!!!! If your looking for a place to sleep and don't need wifi or plan to eat then its a great deal

The room was a nice size, but when you pulled down the sheets on the bed, the sheets were more than worn out and had stains all over them.

The hotel served it purpose for me. It was alittle too far away from the places I needed to go, however is is minutes away from the mall, Sams club, and other shopping. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The pillows were too flat for my comfort level, it took 3 pillows to make 1. Shower was not hot enough for my me. My only issue was with the ice machine. There appeared to be only one on the first floor and I was never able to really get more than a paper cup full of ice. My room was quite clean and the staff was friendly and cordial. I'm in Huntsville often and would stay at the Days Inn again with no problem even with no ice. Thanks

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean. The beds were a little hard but overall was just as satified there as anywhere else i have stayed. "Ouch!!!!!"
when we got to the hotel they tried to charge us again. Then once in the room, we noticed that it smelled and wasn't very clean. Then that night the bed was hard as a rock and the hotel was loud. The breakfast wasn't very good either.

"Rude Customer Service from Weekend"
My family and I travel frequently to the Huntsville area. We decided to try out Days Inn this trip because of the location. We will NOT stay here again. First, the rooms seem to be old and in need of repair. The pool looks more like an over sized hot tub. However, these are things I can overlook. What I cannot overlook is being treated rudely by the […] front desk personnel. My children and I decided to have breakfast at the hotel. As we were preparing our breakfast, the female from the front desk came in and started taking everything down. Please know it was another 45 minutes before the breakfast ended. She was on the phone the entire time, a personal phone call at that. I know this because of the language she was using. Too, it wasn't her cell phone, it was the front desk phone. However, I tried to look past her disrespectful behavior and we took our coffee and went to our rooms to begin packing. Between 10:15am and 10:50am, the front desk clerk took the time between her personal calls to call our room three times to remind us that check out was at 11:00am. Yes, I am an adult and I do know how to tell time. Because I am stubborn, we stayed in both rooms until right at 11:00. As we were heading down the stairs to check-out, I am met by the same front desk female and a female from housekeeping. I overhear the front desk clerk say my room number. So, the phone calls didn't work and now you're going to chase me down?? I let her know that was my room and I was gladly checking out. Please know that she was STILL on the phone! Even while checking me out, she did not speak a word to me. She did not ask my how my stay was, NOTHING! She was too busy with her personal phone call. I'm almost certain others had the same problem with this particular female. It's as if she was rushing everyone out because she had more important things to take care of. "Computer Virus Central"
After I arrived 4 hours after check-in time, I had to wait 10 minutes for them to clean the room. While the room was in decent shape, the internet kept installing computer viruses onto my computer. I spent the next 3 days removing the viruses. I would only come back if I didn't have to use their internet.

Would never recommend this place! Elevator was broken, big holes in the rug, rust spots in the tub & the air conditioner sounded like a helicopter was landing in my room. The manager was rude & irritable. Completely disappointed in this place, because it was nothing like what it looks like online!

This Hotel is convenient to any to Walmart, Target & Restaurant. I have family of six in the suites. I have check with Hotel. com representative if the pull out couch would be a double bed that 2 kids can sleep & was told yes. When we got there, it's only twin size bed & had to speak to the attendant & provided us a twin size roll away bed. That was […] a big relief or else I could have upgraded to two rooms which is more money out of the pocket. But then the sink was smelly from the pipes & had to request the attendant to clean it good coz my youngest son got sick of the smell coz when you wash your hands you can smell it straight through your nostril. Carpet dirty with burn holes all over. Air freshener sprayed in room took your breath away & odor never cleared even with bathroom vent fan on the entire time! B'fast was all carbs,so couldn't eat it!

The Huntsville Days Inn - room was clean and nice size. Very comfortable. Check in and check out were the easiest I've ever experienced. Staff were pleasant. "Good hotel for the money"
For one of the cheaper rooms available in the area, the Days Inn provided a convenient place to stay with no apparent shortcomings. The hotel was a little tricky to find right away since it is tucked behind a large shopping center, but once I found the hotel, it was convenient to the surrounding area including a mall, several restaurants, the U.S. Space […] and Rocket Center and the Research Park. "NOT VERY CLEAN"
WE WERE AFRAID TO LET OUR TWO TODDLERS NEAR THE FLOOR. THE STAINS WERE HORRIBLE AND MADE YOU WONDER WHAT THEY WERE. THE REST OF THE HOTEL ROOM COULD HAVE USED SOME CLEANING. I'VE SLEPT ON FLOORS THAT WERE MORE COMFORTABLE THAN THEIR BEDS. BREAKFAST LEFT A LOT TO BE DESIRED AS WELL. "Great room for the money"
The room was very comfortable and clean. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was very satisfying. The hotel employees were extremely friendly and polite. I would definitely stay there again.
