Great place to stay. Very convinent, right next to the convention center. Nice walks to restuarants. Definitely will make reservations next year for the annual conference. Thanks !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel for the price and location!"
The hotel was very reasonably priced for its convenient location to the Philadelphia Convention Center. We found the rooms to be small, but very clean and comfortable. If you have ever experienced European-type hotel rooms, you will be familiar with the room size and layout. There was plenty of hot water and the HVAC worked better than most hotels I've […] stayed at. The hotel does not offer on-site parking, but several public parking lots can be found within a walking distance of a block or two. For breakfast, I suggest a 5 minute walk to the Reading Terminal Market for fresh Amish/Dutch cooking because, although there is a free breakfast awaiting you in the basement, you will be sadly disappointed with the dining area atmosphere and their selection of two cereals, watered down coffee, and half stale bread. "Nice for the money"
This hotel is located in a great area for seeing the sites of downtown Philly. The room was $200 cheaper per night than some of the others in the area. The workers were friendly and the room was comfortable. I would recommend to the bargain hunter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Days Inn So So"
If you are attending a conference at the convention center the Days Inn is a good location...very basic small rooms...many with no window. The neighborhood is a little shady... Jake's pizza a block away has good sandwiches and beer!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice reasonable hotel near the convention center"
Located near the convention center and the chinatown. Free breakfast contained fruit and yogurt. The only sad thing was that there was no window to look outside in my room.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Cheap hotel that is OK for very short stays..."
This hotel is clean and very close the convention center and China town. However, many of the rooms have no windows. Also, my room had various mechanical noises that became very disrupting at night. If you're a light sleeper - this is not the hotel for you. The next door homeless shelter didn't help.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenience was not worth it"
My husband and I were running a race in Philadelphia and only needed a place to rest our heads, so although the ratings were not great for this hotel, we decided to book based on price and the fact we would only be in it for 8 hours (to sleep and shower). The problem was the beds were so uncomfortable my husband got zero sleep so in turn neither did […] I. all the while the noise outside on the streets continued throughout all hours of the night. I can of course see why this type of hotel would appeal initially (we booked) the reality is, its just not a nice place to stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Staff, Few Windows"
I usually attend the Bentley Conference in the second week of May every year, this hotel is across the street from the Philadelphia convention center. the other hotels cost more, the difference is the staff, the were kind, courteous, helpful & respectful. I had a slight mishap with the key being labeled room 401, instead of 412, but once the occupants […] of 401 calmed down, sorry for the mix up folks, everything when smoothly. Hotel is located next to Philadelphia Convention Center and within walking distance to museums and historical sights. "very good location as for proximity to PHCC"
I was not impressed at all by the neighborhood of this hotel, nor by the size of the rooms, too tiny! breakfast very basic and hotel rates were only 30% cheaper than a 5 star hotel! I would say the rates must be 50% less than the ones published to make it worthwhile, otherwise, better pick a different hotel in that area, since all others are located […] on nicer streets with not much difference in price and proximity to PHCC. "Ok hotel, wouldn't stay again"
Walked into the hotel. Man behind the desk was on the phone. There was no parking outside of the hotel to unload your belongings. I had to wait for almost five minutes before the gentleman helped me! I asked where the parking for the hotel was. It was over four blocks away! We walked our luggage the whole way! There was nothing wrong with the cleanness […] of the room. Our room was right next to the elevator. This was horrible! It was very loud! The walls were very thin! We could hear every word of the people in the room next to us. The hotels parking only gave a discount for 24 hours. Two days cost $46. Everything was easily accessible. Within walking distance. Overall the stay was average. We would seek another hotel if we came back in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was clean and convenient. Didn't have time to do the included breakfast since we were headed out to do a 5K Sunday a.m. The only odd thing was that the rooms had windows that faced the hallway. i thought that was weird. The shower was a little wonky, you couldn't just have the tub running, it was both or neither. But it was fine for basic needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Stay away from this Days Inn"
Days Inn was very poorly furnished, with outdated TV and décor. Rooms are dark--no access to windows. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Advertised "breakfast" was nothing more than bread, cereal, coffee/tea, juice and a couple of apples. No parking on site--more than a block from the hotel. If I had known the conditions, I would have spent a couple […] of dollars more and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, just a few blocks away. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel is very small and poorly located right next to the men's homeless shelter. The staff would have friends coming in and out at all times of the night to talk to so it was very loud. The police had to be called because of a noise disturbance in the room across the hall but did nothing about it. The beds felt more like you were sleeping on a box […] spring rather than a mattress. There was blood stains on a pillow and cigarette burns on the blankets. Overall this place was just plain bad. I checked out at 7am just so I could get some sleep. "Good for conference attendees but a little noisy"

"Great location, solid deal at the price"
This was very satisfying for the price range. Clean room, very helpful staff, unbeatably convenient location. "Better than expected convention area hotel"
We didn't expect a lot as we needed to cut costs, but we were pleased with the very helpful staff and the cleaning the room received each day. We felt safe and nights were usually quiet. The breakfasts (cereal, muffins, fruit juice, coffee) were good and supplies were refilled often, reducing the cost of the stay. While the blankets were worn (had some […] holes) they were clean and the TV, showers, etc. were in good order. The overall experience was okay. The room was clean and the location was right across the street from the convention center. One thing I didn't like was that there was no parking . I had to pay 32 dollars to park for 24 hours. What I did like was its location close to the center of the city since I was there to tour the city. "Good value close to the Phila Convention Center"
The Days Inn is located on the street behind the Convention Center - very convenient to Reading Terminal Market as well. You should park your car in one of the nearby garages first because there is no parking at the entrance of the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable. There is a wall thermostat to set the temperature. There is no closet, […] just a garment rack. No extra blanket for the bed. A continental breakfast is available each morning, cold foods except for toast and coffee. The milk and juices were not replenished often enough. "Too Cheap to Be True. You bet!"
The price was too good to ignore. We should have. But because we pre-paid the hassle of an online refund loomed large in my mind. The location was extremely convenient to the Philly Convention Center. Actually, it's the closest of any available hotel. The facility is transitioning from a Travellodge to a Days Inn. The sign over the canopy was printed […] on flapping canvas. The lobby smelled of cleanser. We were assigned a handicapped room down the hall from the front desk. No normal-height clothes rod and no bathtub for my wife. Unacceptable. They reassigned us a different room only one door away from the front desk. Mattress was like plywood. Guaranteed free Internet was non-functioning for almost a full 24 hours. Although a technician had been sent to reset the full-system router, the individual floor units also needed to be reset. The free breakfast was packaged with watered-down coffee. We went out for our three day stay. Peeling wall paper in our room. Soiled carpet. Chipped furniture. Perhaps time will heal this open wound. The location still can't be beat. I would never pre-pay to stay again. They'll have to prove to me that they've significantly changed the operation to be more customer friendly.
