We went to a comic show at the Improv and wanted a close by hotel. This one was perfect for us to check in, walk to the show, dinner and dancing all in the Marquee area and then walk back to the hotel! We were very happy!

Hotel was comfortable, clean and the staff was very responsive. seemed like quite a few families were there (this is a positive comment for families, not a complaint in any way.). If road noise bothers you, ask for a room on the back side, the front faces the freeway frontage road and freeway. All in all a nice place if you have an overnight business […] stay. Not too much in the way of restaurants nearby, and what there is is on the other side of the freeway - about a 1/2 mile+ walk each way. Not really convenient to the Post Oak/Gallleria area. Loved the family atmosphere. Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the indoor pool with the kiddos. The breakfast every morning was yummy and plentiful as well. Regular Holiday inn express. I had a bad luck to get a stinky room. It was late, and I was tired, so I decided to sleep one night in the room. I don't know where the smells from. From heater? Other than that, it's a normal Holiday inn.

It was fine. Breakfast typical foods, but pretty good. You can only make microwave bacon taste mediocre, but it was fine. Our air conditioner was pretty loud, but overall - I would definitely stay there again. Staff was very courteous and greeted us each time we came in.

I was overall pleased with my stay. The staff was friendly and felt very comfortable. The only disappointment was the outdated individual A/C unit. It was loud and gave us a humid atmosphere through out the night. This would not discourage me from staying at another Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

About what you'd expect from an HI Express, perhaps slightly better. Affiliation with LA Fitness health club is a big plus. Convenient 5 min. walk under I-10 to LA Fitness, shops and restaurants.

Not as modern as some of the other hotels, but everything was very nice. Breakfast was very good, the elevators were fast, the room was clean and comfortable. Free parking and internet too. I have no complaints.

Enjoyed our two night stay. Wasn't too happy about having to pay for extra family member, since we had two queen beds anyway, (four of us) and I've been a priority member since 1988. Very nice accomidations and will stay there again.

This hotel is what you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. All the amenities you will need for a price that you like. Also, this hotel gives you free access to the LA Fitness right across the highway. All in all the hotel was a good hotel for a good price.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a fairly priced hotel with a pool somewhat close to the downtown area and we certainly found it here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were fine - in good condition and clean. Free breakfasts usually aren't great, so I don't expect much, but this one actually disappointed me. I didn't stay there for the breakfast, so it doesn't affect my overall impression much. Just called it out because it was the only negative for this stay.

The only real issue is the noise level. My room faced the highway, so I could hear every police chase or general highway noise that went on during the night. I do believe that there is a simple device that could be installed on the windows to help deaden the noise--it is a folded noise reduction screen.

I stayed here while recovering from surgery. Check in and staff were all friendly. I called and asked how recently the hotel had been updated because Holiday Inn is in the process of remodeling all older buildings The person I spoke with said it had been completely removed within the last year. I suppose his opinion of renovation is getting new bedding […] and shower curtains. The day of my surgery when I returned to the room housekeeping opened the door and attempted to enter the room, not once, but twice. The room smelled like it was doused in cheap perfum. The beds were clean and I had ample towels. This hotel also has complimentary breakfast but these are not features that would draw me back here. Read more

If you are going to allow children to run around in the breakfast area with no socks or shoes, then you can't have a double standard that says an adult can't go in their wearing slippers. If you are going to have a double standard, you need to be less rude about it. The woman with no teeth apparently thinks she is a prison guard. It is moldy and you will feel disgusting all night. We were moved rooms for the second night of our stay which was fine, but the first night in room 605 was gross. Hopping into the bed and feeling wet is a terrible feeling. Avoid 605 and you should be fine.
