"Nice stay-friendly staff"
Enjoyed our stay and it's in a good location for wine tasting. There's a lot of smaller family vineyards with very good wine in that location. Clean motel with a decent breakfast. We used the laundry facility there-usable. Friendly staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Disappointing for Best Western Plus"
I stayed at this hotel on 9/13/14. Check in was slow because the poor young lady was working alone and it appeared that the hotel was almost fully booked. Despite being overwhelmed she stayed friendly. Upon entering my room I found old food and and a half full soda can in the refrigerator. The handle on one of the dresser drawers had a screw missing and was hanging down . The pillow cases were yellow and appeared dirty. The room had thick dust on the mirror and other areas. The room was a non smoking room that had an odor of smoke as did the hallways. The hallways had small pieces of paper and trash and looked like it had not been vacuumed in days . When I complained to the desk clerk she promptly offered me a CLEAN room. The second floor ice machine was inoperable and appeared to have been for a quite awhile. My previous experiences with Best Western Plus Hotels have lead me to have high expectations for room and amenities. I would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here with some friends over the 4th of July weekend. The rooms were very nice and clean. Our fridge never turned on despite numerous attempts to fix it, but oh well. Hotel is pet friendly as I saw lots of people with their dogs. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Everyone we encountered here was very laid back, the pool area was a nice little relaxing area (although it's very close to the freeway so you do hear car noise). Our room was above the pool area but the windows were able to block out any noise so we slept without any interruption. Breakfast was typical continental fare but the room where breakfast is served can be very busy towards the end of breakfast service and it's a little difficult to get in and out (gotta wiggle your way in/around amongst the moms and kids). All in all, I would stay here again.
"Very Nice Accommodations"

We arrived very late but staff member was friendly and helpful. We left late as well and staff was very accommodating to our need to leave a half hour later then check out time. The only issue we had was that the front Best Western sign was not lit and we had minor difficulty finding the hotel. Hard to see the sign when not lit at night. No ESPN channels on TV .
"Adequate, but some problems"
08/26/14 Larry S
The good parts: The hotel has a nice appearance, it isn't too far from the highway; there is no highway noise. It is quiet. There is plenty of guest parking (watch out for the private lot with the Selzer realty signs; you might get towed). Our room was large; the king bed was a large king and very comfortable. We both slept well. The vanity is outside the bathroom which is smallish and has a toilet and shower/tub. Not good or bad, just how it is. The air conditioner was effective and not too noisy. There was a stuffed chair for reading and a simple desk. Plenty of lights, although one of the lamps had a burned out bulb. A flat-screen TV which we did not use. There were drawers for clothing and a standard hotel clothes bar for hanging up coats and such. Although we did not eat it (went to brunch with friends on Sunday), the breakfast looked good and it was popular. The negatives: No elevator and we were on the 2nd floor, which is a problem for my wife. The room seemed dark unless the curtain was open and all the lights turned on. The room also had a strange odor. Not of cigarette smoke, but like someone had cleaned the carpet with an off-brand of cleaner in an attempt to cover the smoke odor. It worked, but the resultant odor was noticeable and, to me, unpleasant (it did not drive us from the room). The mini-fridge in our room did not have a freezer compartment, which meant we needed ice to put in our travel cooler (one bucket, but we NEEDED it) as we could not "recharge" out freezer packs. It was when searching for ice I discovered there was only one ice machine per floor (2 floors; about 30 rooms per floor), and the one on our floor was not working and appeared to have been out of service for more than a day or two. Our toilet leaked. It was from a hole left by the loose flushing lever. Water had leaked onto the floor and was puddled below the tank. That should have been caught by the cleaning staff and taken care of. Also, when we first flushed the toilet, the water filling the tank caused a loud squealing sound. My wife also discovered the water going into the tank was HOT water. When my wife showered she noted the water temp. in the shower dropped off near the end of her shower. Possibly due to increased demand by other guests. When I went to check out, nobody was at the front desk. Housekeeping staff tried to find someone for me but they were unable to, and there was no bell or phone/intercom arrangement to summon them. After a couple of minutes, a nice young lady appeared to prepare my bill.....she had been helping with some problem at the breakfast service because there was nobody else assigned to handle the breakfast or any problems which arose (at least I didn't see anyone). Breakfast was popular which was a problem because the breakfast area couldn't seat them all. Folks were standing with full plates, hoping for a seat at a table. I think a lot of them ate in their rooms.

We stayed here for one night and were checked in by a really friendly chap who make us feel very welcome. The room was fine but the decor is horrible - really dark and brown. We enjoyed the free WiFi and breakfast. This is not a bad place to stay in for one night when on the road. It took a while to check out in the morning as there was nobody at the front desk. This was a bit annoying as we wanted to hit the road quite early.
"Clean hotel with pool for the kids"
08/24/14 April H Helena, Montana
We stayed here for three nights to attend my brother's wedding at a nearby venue. It was clean, which is most important to me. There are smoking rooms in this hotel, so be sure to request a non smoking room if you're a non smoker. The pool is outside, but my daughter didn't complain about the temperature. Though the hotel is near the freeway, the noise didn't bother me. Kids loved the free continental breakfast, which consisted of waffles, yogurt, fruit, eggs, sausage and juice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We also liked having a fridge and microwave in our room. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
"Nice hotel in Ukiah, CA"

This is a very well kept, clean and well appointed hotel in Ukiah. The property is well located in a nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. There is a CVS down the block and also a few places to eat. Ukiah is a strange town - I call it the hippy week smoker town in northern Cali. But this hotel is a nice oasis in a town that has much to be desired. A great spot for an overnight to take the Skunk train to the north or Wine Country to the south.
"It was just Ok"

This Hotel was Just Ok for Service and Costs ,Close to Freeway some what Nosey , If your stay one Night it's Just OK , Also it has a Pool and Hot Tub that Looks Very Comfortable and Breakfast was Hot and Good , There wasn't enough Tables to Eat Breakfast we had to Eat in our Room, so small area for Breakfast in the Morning But the Food Was Good .
"Evil at the Front Desk"
08/05/14 Matt H
Front desk staff were rude and abrasive. Passive/aggressive concierge totally creeped out my family. Complimentary breakfast was bereft of plates and the garbage can was still overflowing from the previous day. This has been the least friendly place we have been ever. Housekeeping was fine.
"Clean, quiet and comfortable"

A nice and easy stop in Ukiah for the night. The hotel is clean and the rooms are real comfortable. The pool is swimmable and nice spot to cool off in the afternoon. Staff is great and everyone was helpful. I've stayed at this hotel several times and would return again.
