Three Kings Inn Pub was an excellent place to stay - great breakfast, comfortable room, excellent and very accommodating staff. Minutes to Bury St Edmonds and a short drive to the bases.

The restaurant downstairs and the one next door are very noisy and you don't want to be in a room facing that. No air conditioning. But very nice room!

They are vague about the checkin time. I found (at some time) online that checkin is at noon, or 1pm, but in reality it is at 3pm.

We stayed at the Stoke by Nayland for a short break as a base camp for Cochester Zoo, Framlingham Castle and just to take a chance to chill out somewhere quiet. We couldn't have been more impressed, very nice, clean room, friendly staff, great spa facilities and a quite simply fantastic meal in the restaurant which, I might add, I would have been happy […] paying double for (rabbit three ways, 28 day matured roast beef, cheeseboard, superb.)
