This was a last minute booking and I have to say it was worth it. It was very comfortable. It seems like a pretty new building so mostly everything was fresh and looked untouched. I was pretty happy with the size of the TV. It had to be like 42" or more. I don't go to hotels for the size of the television but it is nice to come in after a late night/dinner and relax in bed and watch some TV. The breakfast in the morning was sufficient. Nothing too fancy but certainly enough to fill you up. It is close to the shopping area of Harker Heights, movie theaters, and most of the good restaurants. Not a far drive at all to Ft. Hood/Killeen. I would stay here again if I needed to for sure.

The stay was okay, and for the price the room was clean, however the hotel staff that I met were somewhat rude in their communication, and unfriendly. Perhaps they were having a bad day, but when I have paid good money, I expect some sort of friendliness.

nice comfortable, quite, the bed seem to lean to one side, but all in all it was a well kept hotel, freindly staff, and within walking distance of a good reasonably priced resturant, i would stay again.

We booked this hotel for 2 days based on the past ratings. It was not the worst place I have stayed in but for the price charged It did not live up to it's past ratings. The grounds were not well kept, Abandoned building on one side, pool was not clean and felt like we were 10 feet from the interstate while swimming. lots of red ants in the pool area. The staff was very respectful and accomodating. The room was a good size and didn't feel crowded, we stayed for a total of 5 nights. The morning breakfast was a good variety, and available long enough to get food if we slept in. There was hot coffe available all the time toom

I was staying in a non-smoking room and it smelled like smoke the entire 3 days. I mentioned it to the staff multiple times and their response was to spay foul smelling air freshener in the hallways. All of my clothes smelled like cigarette smoke. They made no attempt to fix the problem and were rather dismissive of the issue.

We needed a hotel close to the VA. This was just 2 miles away but I did find there were other hotels closer. The pool was cloudy so we didn't use it. The front desk was friendly.
