I knew when I made the reservation that I had not chosen a 4 star hotel, however I was surprised of the condition of the hotel.It is a very old building, noisy and in a bad neighborhood. The only positive that I encountered was the friendly service of the front desk clerk Moussa/Moses.

The location is very good, because it's very close to the train station, that's about it after that there is nothing to do in the area. The bathroom was disgusting I regret every time I had to take a shower it was full of mold. Don't recommend this place to anybody, the only thing that I liked was that it was very close to the train station.

The desk manager was not kind, nor helpful. The room was VERY small and had the most uncomfortable bed I've slept in in my entire life. Free wifi is available; for 2 hours at a time. The hotel isn't in a good neighborhood, however it is a fairly short walk to the Nord.

All we looked for was a room with a bed and shower that was close to a metro stop, and that is the type of hotel that we got. Rooms were small with very few ammenities. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were "cleaned" every day, however the same bed sheet was put onto our bed for the entire stay (a small stain that we noticed on day 1 was seen […] for the rest of our stay on the sheet.) If you are looking for a hotel that has all you need is a bed and shower and has quick access to Paris' metro system this may be the hotel for you. While the room was clean and the staff did speak decent English there were some downfalls to this hotel. For one, the "free" wifi was down for the majority of our stay, about 5 of the 7 days to be exact. This was really annoying and the staff did not do anything to compensate for this. It's location was okay, about a 10 minute walk to Montmartre, which […] is beautiful, but not very close to any of the other tourist attractions. A taxi was about 15 Euros to get anywhere else, not including a tip. The free breakfast basically consisted of croissants every morning, which wasn't really bad, considering a free breakfast in the states is usually a donut. I choose this hotel as a last resort after all of my top picks were either sold out or a little out of my budget - but there was a discount which also included free breakfast so I was sold! Otherwise breakfast is around 6 Euro and you might be better suited going to grab some croissants at a local passterie shop down the street. Overall I wasn't disappointed […] in the least. I wanted a clean, cheap, quiet room to use as a base for a romantic week in Paris and it was perfect for my needs. The surrounding neighborhood feels a bit seedy at night, but in the day it's quaint and there are 2 metro trains close by that can take you anywhere you want to go in the city. The hotel is a short hike from Sacre Courer and there is a super market nearby. There is no lift - but I was lucky and my room was on the 2nd floor. You do have to climb stairs, we were on the sixth floor and had heavy luggage which was not fun. It also was not fun, when you have been walking all day. We could not find the hotel because it is was not on the subway map. We had to call the hotel. Print a detail map because the street is tiny, so it does not show on many maps . The hotel is located at one end of France but well connected by train. The location appeared to be not so very safe, although no such incident happened to us. Friendly and helpful staff, adequate room for a place to sleep and bathe, and a good bargain. Some guests were loud and inconsiderate. Not very well situated for tourism, but good for restaurants within a short walk and/or bus ride. The streets could be cleaner int he neighborhood.

Two things. One being on the fifth floor no lift three heavy bags and no assistantance. The second was this is rated a non smoking hotel and on most floors you could smell smoke. Lovely little hotel in an excellent location for the Sacre Coeur and all the wee streets around it. Only downfall was no lift and we were on the 5th floor which was 78 steps up! Glad we didn't have luggage!

This hotel was in the centre of Montmartre, the receptionists were nice and helpful. The hotel was up to standard (two stars) without lift which can be very exhausting when you live on higher floors. There was hot water in the shower and both the room and the bathroom were cleaned every day and in a general state of cleanness. L'albergo è molto vicino alla fermata della metro e quindi idoneo a chi si muove coi mezzi pubblici. La zona di notte non è pericolosa come descritta in altri commenti, inoltre l' albergo è vicino ad una stazione della polizia quindi ci sono pattuglie regolari e controlli frequenti - personalmente trovo più pericolosa la zona universitaria di Bologna, […] tanto per fare un esempio. Consiglio di visitare il sito dell' hotel perchè le stanze hanno esattamente i servizi descritti, e le fotografie sono realistiche. Io ero al quarto piano e la mia camera dava sulla strada, ma ho sempre dormito bene. I difetti della camera: poche prese per la corrente - una in camera e l' altra in bagno - quindi ricaricare cellulare e fotocamera può essere problematico; rete vecchia e molto cigolante. Il personale dell' albergo è molto disponibile, parlano bene almeno una lingua oltre il francese. ho lasciato le valige in hotel il giorno della partenza pagando solo due euro, molto meno di quello che si pagherebbe in una qualunque stazione ferroviaria. c'è la possiblità di fare la colazione in albergo pagando il sovrapprezzo. vicino ci sono bar ed un forno che fa brioche buonissime a prezzi ottimi ( 1,30 euro per un pain au chocolat, che sazia per la mattina). Ci sono anche un hard discount ed un Carrefour dove consiglio di comperare le bottiglie d' acqua da portarsi dietro durante la giornata.Per le caratteristiche complessive, trovo l' albergo adatto a chi trascorre tutta la giornata fuori.
