    We stayed at the same hotel 20 & 25 years ago and it has not been updated since. It was like being in a time warp. The TV was very old, there weren't... many outlets, and it wasn't set up for modern conveniences. The service at the front desk and the breakfast was very good though. The hotel was clean and in a good location. I would stay there again if I was looking for a clean hotel at a decent price, but I think we would look at other hotel in the area that are more up-to-date.     Been here twice before at least 17 years ago. Little changes. Very antiquated, although clean. No Face Cloths, No Bar Soap. No Air Conditioning and Desk Power to connect and charge anything was non existant. O.K. for a 1980's Hotel, but nowhere near up to today's standards. I would NOT stay here again on future trips to Aalborg.

    Hotel Hvide Hus is convenient to downtown Aalborg without being in the middle of the city. It is right across from the main train and bus station and next to the convention center. The rooms are comfortable and the decor pleasant. Easy walking distance to many restaurants.

    We arrived late but found the staff friendly and check-in easy. The rooms were roomy and nice with a good view of the city. Breakfast was very good. This was my husbands favorite hotel in our 12 day trip through Norway and Denmark.

    Slightly worn out hotel, but this seems to be not uncommon in Denmark. Probably there are better deals around but for us this was a convenient location. Very near to train/bus station and convention center. Rooms with view towards the park are nice and probably more quit then on the front, balcony present, free wireless internet, good enough breakfast. […] Elevators very small and making scary noises, but this seemed to be ok according to maintenance guy. The brunch was surprisingly complete with plenty of warm and cold items with lots of different kinds of bread, pastries, yogurts, and fruits.     Rather disappointing stay at what I expected would be a better than average hotel. The service for drinks/dinner was pretty much out of Fawlty Towers with a very slow and rather rude server. The room was clean but not well laid out, and all the electrics (which were on endless extension cables) were unplugged so I had to rewire the room before anything […] would work. The TV was bad - old style, small, bad picture and sound. The room suffered from lots of road noise which as it is 20m from a main road was quite intrusive.     My impression was that the hotel would be more like a country estate and in fact it was much more basic. But it is very clean and that is the most important thing. Using internet was quite inconvenient too.

    I had read reviews saying the hotel was in need of a revamp. I agree with this, although perfectly OK, many aspects of the hotels furnishings and decor were looking tired and in need of replacement. That said the hotel was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

    The hotel has had it's peak, and is in need some remodeling.. Nice reception, ok room, wonderful view, not impressed by the variety of things on the breakfastbufffet, and the room was not very clean... Enjoyed our stay, though.

    I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and would like to warn anyone expecting four star facilities to look elsewhere. This is at best a 3 star budget hotel. My rrom containes, no hotel information I had to use my laptop to try and find information while in the hotel.No toileteries provided or tea/coffee facilities. Upon asking for room service I was told […] my request wasnt on the room service menu but there was none!!asked for late check out was told it was unavailable but was then asked while checking out if I would like to stay another night?!room service was hugely overpriced for quality.Internet was unbeliveably slow and unacceptable for those travelling on business. Breakfast was however great and hotel was clean. Lift was hugely outdated and the door to get onto my floor was like a warehouse door and difficult to open. overall disappointing. Read more

    Basic room, university dorm style. Beds need to be updated, new pillows, and a pillow topper doesn't qualify as a "mattress" Area was very seedy, I watched 3 crackheads light up across the street from the hotel.

    Hotel was comfortable and staff helpful. Room on 12th floor had wonderful view of Aalborg. Location is slightly out of centre of city but the distance is easily walkable.

    I booked a "single deluxe" room and ended up in an old unrenovated double room. Pressure of water in the shower would be fine in Corsica or Turkey, but I expected more in Denmark. Desperately needs to be renovated. Breakfast food boring and a bit cheap. The hotel in the middle of a park with a terrace over the trees. It must be very nice in summer.

    Arrived at the hotel around 20.45 after a day's meeting and a long journey, to find the restaurant was closed and there was no meal facilities in the hotel. This is not acceptable for business travellers at a 4 star hotel. Otherwise, the room was clean and comfortable.

    Hvide hus ligger ved en flott park og kun få meter fra hovedbanegården i Aalborg. Fra frokostsalen får man et fabelaktig syn over byen, som en bonus i tillegg til et velasortert frokostbord.

    Næsten lige udenfor centrum og med en fantastisk udsigt over Aalborg. Mulighed for gode tilbud på værelsespris med mellemrum. God morgenbuffet helt oppe på toppen og med udsigt i alle retninger. Flot renlighed, selv om hotellet efterhånden bærer præg af ikke at være helt nyt og er lidt slidt. Kan bestemt anbefales.

    Jeg var indlogeret på 11 etage og havde den skønneste udsigt - desværre skulle man ud på balkonen for at nyde den rigtigt, da vinduerne ikke pudset/meget beskidte. Det trækker ned, at tv'et ikke var en fladskærm og ikke helt levede op til mine forventninger. Jeg havde troet jeg skulle "flade ud" på værelset med lidt godt tv, men når man er vant til […] 40" derhjemme så er et tv på 20" lidt småt og samtidigt ikke særligt skarpt. På værelset var der en mappe med information - den engelske udgave lovede gratis internet og den danske betalt internet - det var den danske udgave der talte... Fin morgenmad med udsigt over byen fra 15. etage. Byen i gåafstand. Det stod i materialet fra hotels.com at værelset ville være 34m2 selve værelset var nok ikke mere en 10 - dertil kommer et lille bad og en gang. Så sammenlagt egentligt et dejligt værelse og god beliggenhed, men lidt skuffede forventninger i forhold til størrelse, tv og vinduernes renhed. Og så kan jeg ikke lide, at man ikke giver det tilbud der beskrives på engelsk med gratis internet - man skal holde hvad man lover. Read more

    Da vi skulle tjekke ind fredag kunne vi ikke få det aftalte værelse, da det ikke var rengjort. I stedet for fik vi tilbudt et tilsvarende værelse på 12. eller 5. sal. Her advarede de os om, at der lørdag aften blev afholdt en 50 års fødselsdag på 15. sal med DJ - som de sagde. Vi valgte så værelset på 5. sal - men blev alligevel generet af støjen fra […] 15. sal indtil kl 2 om natten. Lyden fra musikanlæggets bas gik gennem alt. Det er egentlig ret utroligt, at et hotel med 4 stjerner udsætter mange af deres gæster for larmen fra en privat fest.
