"Beautiful!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Would definitely stay again, wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities offered...all you would expect from a luxury golf resort & spa.

"BW Inner harbour"
Great location in the inner harbour. We were upgraded to a top floor corner room facing the harbour. Well kept spacious room with kitchenette. Very comfortable and clean hotel. Knowledgeable , friendly staff. Free parking a bonus. Free breakfast, typical complimentary hotel breakfast. Barb's fish and chips on the wharf, very good (straight down Quebec […] St. onto wharf St. on the waterfront). We had a lovely meal at the Irish Times pub on Government St. Also on Government St. one of my favorite book stores, Munro's always great deals on great books. Read more
"Great value"
Close to most major attractions but a bit of a hike to get to many restaurants (about a 15-20 minute walk). Hotel provided lots of little extras like a table and chairs on the balcony, a kitchenette with table and chairs and a full-size stove, not one but two comfortable arm chairs, and free wi-fi. Continental breakfast was better than most with a large […] selection of baked goods like scones and pastries. Would definitely stay there again. Read more

everything was fine. Free parking in secure garage under hotel. Location was great. View of the inner harbor from 6th floor was nice, not sure how good it would be from lower floors because of the trees.
"Best Western Inner Harbour - Not worth the rates"
Customer service was great. Complimentary breakfast and free parking was great. However the hotel is extremely dated and not worth the rates we paid. There was no air in the room and it was in the 90's. Which does not last long in Victoria, however we were surprised to see an oscillating fan on the dresser. The location is great, just across the street […] from the ferry and a ten minute walk to the center of downtown. Read more
"A Warm Welcome at Best Western"
As a family of 4, we found this hotel perfectly suited to all of our needs (ages 50, 49, 20, 16). Wonderfully located in a very quiet neighbourhood, close to restaurants and attractions including Victoria's inner Harbour. All the good recommendations we read were perfectly applicable to our stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast […] was wonderful (including a make-your-own waffle iron - great!!), although almost crowded. A great deal which included parking. We would stay there again in a flash! Read more
"Great hotel"
Staff was friendly and accommodating to our requests. Great breakfast of hot and cold items in a sunny cheerful room. Comfortable beds, view of the Inner Harbour and park, good location close to Inner Harbour and museums, etc. The only negative was that our room with two queen beds was a little crowded.

"Great bet for downtown hotel"
I stayed here for 4 nights recently. I had a room on the 5th floor overlooking the garden and harbour. The only disadvantage to staying on the Inner Harbour (at any hotel I would imagine that faces it) is the float planes start up at 7.00 a.m. every morning so if you want to sleep late I would advise you get a hotel room not overlooking the harbour. […] Aside from that (which didn't bother me) the location is fantastic, close to everything you might need. I don't know the Best Western Chain very well but bearing in mind the prices that they charge here (steep in my opinion and almost on a par with a good rate at the Four Seasons in other parts of Canada) I would have thought they might stretch to china plates and bowls at breakfast rather than plastic. It is a little insulting to think that we are all so hopeless we are going to drop our plates every day! Breakfast despite the plastic was good, though the coffee was awful. The staff were all very polite and helpful and even managed to troubleshoot my wifi connection problem, after the totally and utterly useless hotel IT support failed miserably. DO NOT EXPECT THE I.T. helpline to be anything other than polite - they are obviously not computer people. The exercise room is tiny and airless but does the job. Go on a whale watching tour with Eagle Tours. They are pricey but BRILLIANT :) I would go back to this hotel. Read more

This Best Western Hotel was close to all the restaurants, stores and businesses my wife and I were there for. We had decided earlier, before arriving in Victoria, that we wanted to eat at a particular restaurant. When we arrived at the hotel we found that were were only three blocks from the restaurant. With this hotel being downtown on the inner harbour […] we were within a few short minutes of all the stores we wanted to go to so we could do some Christmas shopping. One thing I liked, althiugh it didn't seem to matter much to my wife, was that our room was facing the water, so we had a great view of the harbour. Because of a physical disability I have somwhat limited mobility. I noticed the hotel is quite accessible to disabled people. The front door is on level ground, and in the gated undergound parking there are several handicapped spots close to the elevators. The room was warm and cosy and the bed was comfortable. We did not have the opportunity to use the kitchenette although it looked like we could have cooked a full meal there. As for the staff, I found them to be extremely helpful. When I called the front desk to ask any questions they were very friendly and were more than willing to help. This went from calling us a taxi to go to the restaurant to finding a list of the movies that were playing at the various theatres that night. Overall I would say the stay was pleasurable and we would definately stay there again. Read more
