THE ROOM WAS A GOOD SIZE, BUT THE BED WAS VERY HARD, THE AIR CONDITIONER WAS GRINDING, AND THE BATHROON WAS PITIFUL. THE SINK WAS ON THE OUTSIDE AND THAT SPACE WAS ONLY AS WIDE AS THE SINK WITH NO PLACE TO PUT THINGS AND NO PLACE TO HANG A TOWEL. THE TOILET/TUB ROOM WAS TIGHTLY CRAMPED AND THE DOOR NEARLY HIT THE TUB. I'M A SHORT WOMAN AND I COULD TIPTOE AND EASILY TOUCH THE CEILING IN THAT SPACE. I WAS GLAD THAT I DID NOT HAVE TO SHARE THE BATHROOM AREAS WITH ANYONE ELSE.

The room was in good standing. The bathroom is very very small. You have to stand in the tub to close the door, that is just how small it is. We checked in and about a hour later, another guest was used his hotel key and was checking into our room. The quest went downstairs came back with the manager, he stated we "checked out today" when we "checked in today". Crazy, It was Valentine's Day, I guess happy Valentine's Day! We left for the evening, when we got back, there were a rose and some chocolates for me from the Manager, with a apology note. I should've gotten a free room. I've could've been in my Valentine's suit and another man walking in my room with me and my husband in there, THAT WAS CRAZY.

And i am not a big person at all. The maids have the stones to put an envelope on the desk with "Maid Tips" written on it. What...if you dont tip them your not going to get full maid service?

This hotel has an excellent location near the Bay Area Mall, Nasa, etc. The hotel is going under renovations right now and some parts of the room had been updated and other parts had not. It wasn't intrusive however so when they are done the rooms will be quite nice. My only real complaint was the tightness of the bathroom and the really, really low countertop on the bathroom sink. There also is very, very little room around the sink for toileties. There is, however, a refrig and microwave which was nice.

The Good: The hotel is somewhat old, but is well maintained; everything in our rooms was clean and in working order. The bathrooms are small but are functional; I didn't find their size to be a problem. The free breakfast with fresh wafels was decent. The Bad: The receptionist changed one of our rooms at the last minute as the original one wasn't ready. He must have not changed it in the system as they later rented our room to someone else; at 1am as we were sleeping someone unlocked our door! Fortunately I had the chain on so they couldn't get in but it was an unpleasant experience. I don't think that happens often so I won't take it against the hotel, but a reminder to always keep the chain on!

Negatives: The room was unusually small and the bathroom was ridiculously small. There were no unused outlets to plug in a laptop or phone. Found a 2" long dead roach on the floor. AC was very noisy but worked well. Fixtures were worn and tub drain was broken. My 11 year old pulled the sheets off his bed while sleeping and the mattress staining looked like someone had been shot in the bed. Rooms need to be updated. Positives: Beds were confortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. Mini fridge and microwave were nice. Pool was clean and refreshing.

The rooms are a bit small and I would rather have had a bigger table than the huge chair they stuffed into the corner. Not much sink space at all. The toilet is right next to the wall and the bathroom door, so it is a little uncomfortable if you are a bigger person. The shower is nice and roomy though. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker are nice. Bed was comfortable, but I found it a little odd that they throw 6 tiny pillows on a king size bed. The AC was a bit noisy, but plenty cool, especially in the 95° days I was there. Outdoor pool is nice, I used it one evening just after the sun went down. Lupe's mexican restaurant is right next door (great place - highly recommend) and Red Lobster right across the street.
