"Good for the price"
It was a very pleasant stay. I was a hotel guest for almost 2 weeks and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, the maintenance of the facilities and the surrounding neighborhood. Connected to the hotel is a bar / comedy club. While not the most populated place the bar tender was friendly and the patrons to the comedy club jolly and didn't […] make you feel like an outsider. There is a strip mall within walking distance with a popular restaurant if you wanted a decent meal at a reasonable price. So overall a very good stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We weren't expecting much, but the room was not worth the rate that we paid. Cobweb hanging from ceiling & bathroom floor was not very clean. Beds were clean and comfortable and that's what mattered the most.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
customer Service was very helpful with adjustments that were needed for my stay and they were very understanding of my complex situation. The rooms were great and my Individuals were comfortable and almost didnt want to go back hom. thanks Ramada and Staff for a wonderful experience during the State of Emergency.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bathroom was filthy- shower walls gross- carpet dirty - walls rotted by windows- never go again!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Be prepared to open a window"
The hotel is servicable. Nothing glamorous but it's a notch above the Motel 6. They do have a tendency to use a very strong smelling cleaner in the rooms which is fairly overpowering (you can even smell it in the halls). A couple of hours with the sliding door open dispelled the worst of it, but luckily it wasn't all that cold at night yet... Also be […] aware that Roosevelt only goes one way in front of the hotel - you have to go up the street about 1/2 mile in order to do a U turn to go the opposite direction. This is a hotel which is basically a welfare stopover. Rooms filled with too many people, noisey and horrible.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic and affordable"
Not luxury, but thats OK with me. This hotel is conveniently located near many stores and the airport, and the room was clean. The continental breakfast they offer for free was also fine. Wifi worked well. Easy check in. I did notice some repair issues in the bathroom that needed attention (loose seat on the toilet and sink stopper not connected to […] the handle). That was the only reason to take off even a point. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were dated and dirty. The beds were very small with poor mattresses. Breakfast wasn't up to par.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was nice but the bathroom still had a dirty washcloth that was not removed when it was clean and the bed was slept in. Housekeeping never change the sheets.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When i booked the hotel all i wanted was a pool. The people at hotel.com should have known the pool was closed at this ramada. I was disappointed considering i turned down other hotels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Horrible Smell and Bad Customer Service!"
The hotel looked like it was being repaired, but we never saw anyone working on it. Ceiling tiles were missing and drywall was coming off the walls. The room smelled HORRIBLY!! The first night we were there the man at the front desk had the worst customer service out of anyone I have EVER come in contact with. I have never once posted a bad review about […] a hotel, but this one was worth spending the time to complain about. Their "hot" breakfast consisted of pancakes. The rest was cereal or pastries. It was edible, but certainly not what I've had from most hotels I've stayed at in the same price range. The location was great for Sesame Place and the pool was nice, but that is the only good qualities about this hotel. Do not let the pictures deceive you!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"pleaseing, but minor adjustments..."
overall, the stay was pleasing. Even thought pleasing, the sleeping arrangments were another story. I put down 5 people and they only gave 2 queen size beds. 2 couples and an extra person... where is the etra person going to sleep. Also, the contiental breakfast could have been a little more. "Higher price than expected for low quality"
The "comforter" (which wasn't all the comfortable to begin with) had a huge hole in it. It was the second thing I noticed about the poor quality of the hotel. The first major issue was the foul odor in the hallways. Almost like cat urine, but no cats were to be found. The ice machine in my hallway had an out of order sign up, yet it clearly wasn't turned […] off because a loud noise could be heard coming from it the whole time. The vending machines are money thieves. I will not be visiting this hotel again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Our main concern was with two doors not locking...the pool was definitely the hit for us and our two young children and it was nice that they had a smaller kid pool off for our 1 year old to enjoyGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wife Hated It"
The room was outdated and a little dusty. Also, the room next to us was under some renovation and it reeked passing by it. My wife complained about the hotel throughout our stay. However, when she left her cellphone in the room after checking out, the hotel staff was very friendly and helped us get the phone back. So overall it wasn't a bad stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not 5 star but worth the money"
It was easy to find and on a main road near lots of stores and restaurants and the freeways. the pool was nice all the first floor rooms had sliding glass doors so it was easy to get to the pool, had a little work out room and laundry room. the room itself was just what you expect for the price. It looks like the hallways are being remodeled but it […] didnt bother me. It was 92' outside and nice and cold when we got to our room... so refreshing! overall.....i would stay there again. "Not for families"
We booked this hotel for a trip to Philadelphia, and even though I called and specifically asked how far they were from city center and was told 15 minutes, it was more like an hour in morning traffic. The hotel was HOT, the common areas are not air conditioned as stated. Our room was boiling until the AC kicked on, and it's on a sensor, so do not […] expect to come back to a cool hotel room after a day of doing whatever you are doing. The pool was nice, but the lifeguard on our first day was more interested in her magazine and her snoozing boyfriend than watching the pool. The baby pool was full of leaves and dead flies. When I asked if it could be scooped out, she said she'd tell maintenance. @@ How about you just clean it yourself? My daughter was playing in the sand of the volleyball court until about 5:30 when the bar opens and volleyball teams swarmed the court. As a hotel guest, don't expect to be able to play, and don't expect to leave your poolside door open to let the breeze in- these drunks are out there until 1-2am SCREAMING and swearing. Our hotel room smelled like fish and pot, not sure what that was about. When my kids were in the bath my husband kept going out into the hall to see who was smoking pot. Come to figure out, it's the water that smells that way. The room was large, the bathroom was clean and updated. The refrigerator was a nice addition. The tv has 20 channels, none family or child oriented. So bring a DVD player or laptop of your own. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Cheep, and SHOULD be"
This place was probably great 30 years ago. It has all the great stuff, but most of it is broken. If you're ok with adequate, but cheap, then you're in. If you want to complain about a lot of stuff, this is your place. If you just need a cheap, safe joint to sleep and watch a pretty snazzy tv with free HBO, (hi point, actually) it's just fine. Free […] internet worked great and the "bussiness" center (yup, spelled wrong) was also adequate. Didn't get in the pool, may not have wanted to?? or the beach volley ball court, but looked cool. I will never stay at that hotel again! The outside grounds were unkept, paint chipping, weeds overgrown every where. Loud music all night. "The hotel was fine. It was good value for money"
I thought the hotel was in good condition. I would have liked the pool & playground open earlier (opened at 10am - which is late for kids). PA seems to still allow smoking in hotels, so the hallways smelled of stale smoke.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Centrally located to both Bensalem and Philly areas. Easy access to highways and main thoroughfares. Quite and clean. Outdated decor, not a fancy hotel, but served my needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a very pleasant experience, I would stay there again. The rooms were clean and all the amenities were excellent. A breakfast was served. Good front desk staff generally, just one young lady, of light complexion and about 26yrs, did not live up to the standard. She was eating chips at the front desk and when asked if she could assist with me […] with finding a taxi she give me a number that was to a Pizza Shop while she continued eating her chips. Secondly, I thought that greater attention could be paid to things such as keeping the main entrance to the hotel clear of leaves and plastic wrappers. Since the enrance is the first point I saw on arrival.Thirdly, when I made this booking it was for a Ramada Hotel in Downtown Philadelphia. We found ourselves in the North East of Philly. I had travelled from Barbados via Miami. There was no time to seek redress othetwise. We made the most of our location. The area was safe and there was good shopping at the Franklin Mills Mall. Good dinning at Chickies and Petes just 5 mins walk with excellent staff superb food. There was a sports facility next door and a bowling alley that were great entertainment. "Easy Access to all Major Roads"
Hallways were quiet, limited traffic. The room was clean, sheets and blankets clean and not worn. I had stayed at this Ramada in the past, and had a positive experience. There was also a free Continental breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was horrible sheets were semi clean ... Room smelled like bleach ... And very old looking they def need to do major renovation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked this hotel and was welcomded by an an excellent receptionist, After that everything went down hill, the room was clean enough to sleep in just. But worst of all there was technically no breakfast, the muffins on both mornings were moldy. And a lot of the things were just old or stale. I finally had to settle for fruit loops!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ramada Inn on Roosevelt Blvd."
The room I was assigned was clean but very poorly maintained. My first clue was the wobbly toilet, and the loose toilet seat. I used 3 of the electrical outlets at some point during my two night stay, and they all frightened me some. The one next to the bed had no plate, and the plug itself was very loose in the box. The plug in the bathroom was loose […] as well, and moved when you plugged or unplugged anything, and the plug directly on the other side of the wall, the one for the coffee maker actually came out of the wall as I tried to unplug the coffee maker, box and all. VERY unsafe! The shower curtain rod was not attached to the wall right so the curtain would not stay closed (at this point I did not care about the lake on the bathroom floor). As I was leaving, I stopped by the office to express my complaints and both entrances were locked, with no one to be seen. I can say with confidence that I will not be staying there again. "Ramada- near Sesame Place"
This hotel was horrible. The overnight front deskman was rude. I was disrupting his cellphone conversation and was annoyed to direct me to which room was mine. There had been bad water damage to the hotel. The breakfast was only until 10 am and cosisted of cereal and bread. It was the worst contential breakfast I had ever had. The room was mildewed […] and moldy. The bathroom had a huge water/ mold spot in the bathroom. Due to this I could not breathe at night. The TV was a small box of the old fashioned sort. I can't believe that anyone would pay more than $20 a night for this horrible place. We stayed only 1 night and caneled the next nigth. We went to ALoft hotel near the Airport. It was FANTASTIC! I really liked the stay at this hotel. I was very comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The only issues I have is that the hotel's exercise equipment needs to be updated. If a hotel advertises that the training room comes as part of the hotel package, than it is expected to be in excellent and working condition. The weight room is unacceptable. […] Concerning the complimentary breakfast, it needs to improve. At least adding cold hardboiled eggs/ waffles or oatmeal packets would be a great offer. Last but not least, when check out time came and we were grabbing the last of our items to take out of the room, the room service did not give us a chance to get our things out. I did not like them coming to knock on the door and then hanging around the hall watching us to make sure we were getting out of the room. Then I saw the manager coming down the hall as if he was checking up on us. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I truly understand that the staff wanted to get the room cleaned out, but we were on our way out the room. Overall, the stay was good and I did become a little frustrated with the television, because they have it where you can't even bring your dvd player from home to hook up on the television to watch your own movies. In addition, I had trouble with the remote, but it was because you have to have the tv turned directly where the remote is pointing right at the little square box on the television, because there is a red signal light that connects to the remote in order to turn the television. F.Y.I. for you to know when you go to turn the television in order for you not to become frustrated. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We were relatively suprised and happy with our experience at the hotel. The pool was quite chilly but we enjoyed watching the nightly volleyball matches. And the bar is available if you are interested in a drink walking distance from your room. We were in Room 108 which was close enough to the night time activities without being disturbed if we decided […] to turn in early. The breakfast was good and we even took an apple or yogurt to snack on later. It was close to Historic Philly and there is even public transportation right in front of the hotel. My teenage daughter enjoyed working out in the fitness room which was usually empty. The cleaning staff was extremly happy and polite. "You get what you pay for!"
The hotel was Ok at best. Although clean, the room was old with older type fixtures including the TV and air conditioner. TV reception was poor and the channel selection was limited. The grounds were generally dirty. Staff was helpful one night, but less so the second. Even though I am working in the area, I probably won't stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good choice when visiting Sesame place"
About 15 min from Sesame Place. The hotel and our room were very good. The room was bigger than I expected, had a microwave and a frig. Free breakfast was not fancy, but sufficient - bagels, danishes, french toast, pancakes, cereal, fruit. The only negative is that there is no elevator. We were only there for 2 nights, so we didn't have a lot of luggage, […] but if you do and get a room on the 2nd floor (I think there are only 2 floors), that might be a problem. "This was my worst hotel experience ever!"
My family and I chose this hotel for our 3 day 2 night vacation in order to visit Sesame Place. We had a horrible stay there. No one came to clean our room, They promised us a crib for our toddler prior to our arrival and it took them 4 hours to show up to our room with it at almost midnight. The water back up in the bath tub anbd the walls are filthy. […] The balcony of our room had food from the former occupants. The back doors to the hotel are broken so anyone off the streets can walk in.I could go on and on. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a dump! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
