"Amazing Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.
"great deal for your money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Fantastic deal for your money. The confirmation from hotels.com said that our room had ocean, pool and garden view.... it didn't. The view was just trees. We had booked a king size bed but got 2 queens instead so that was disappointing but over all a great place. Men need to bring long pants if you're planning on eating in the a'la cart restaurants. The buffets are great, a'la cart is ok.

I loved the hotel and the service is wonderful, however I was really disappointed in the beach. We had to travel to another Palace resort to swim in the ocean and take pictures. But that is my only complaint.

The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.

Great hotel, lots to do and eat and great beach location. Highly recommend.
Just Ok. The hotel was full of kids (12-15 yr olds)... which was a little annoying.
"Beautiful and well-maintained"
Highly recommend. An older hotel that has been extremely well maintained and is pristine. The staff is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Multi-level pools and large beach expanse give plenty of space to "spread out"; even if the hotel is filled to capacity, there is always a lounge available at poolside. Especially appealing to my family were the sushi […] and taco bars. The beachfront restaurant serves tasty breakfasts and lunches, and the swing bar w/jacuzzis makes a fun spot to hang out with friends when some time out of the sun is needed. Read more
"We will stay at the Omni again!"
We would highly recommend this hotel....the staff was exceptional. My mother fainted during breakfast (she had an overnight flight and was dehydrated) The Omni staff called EMT's and even had a Dr. on call come in to check on her. They went above and beyond to make sure whe was okay. The manager even called our room the next day to see if we needed […] anything. I have never seen such caring treatment of a guest. The hotel is beautiful, clean and safe....close to everything in Cancun. We will got back for sure. Read more
"Nice for the Price"
Nice hotel, nothing extravegant but the price was right and the staff was wonderful. Only complaint is the bar jacuzzi on the beach was not as hot as it should have been.
"Omni in Cancun"
The Omni in Cancun is located along the hotel row that is 27 km long, that has many hotels located next door to each other. Check in was easy and fast, took no more than 2m to be completed. Our room was on the lagoon side, facing Cancun. Room was clean and well equipped. Facility was in good shape, pools looked spectacular, 3 restaurants located in […] facility, beach was nice and good shape too, we got there near sundown so did not see during day, flew out the next am. "Well done"
I really like this hotel, they have a great hot tub bar near the beach. Genius! Rooms are great, views are awesome either way...I like the lagoon view. Food is really good there, but could be a little better. They never change the menu and always have the same stuff year to year. They do a daily theme like Italian or Mexican, but that is it. In my opinion […] they need to turn Da Vinci's into a world class restaurant. (Bigger wine List, larger variety of prime cuts, more fish options, ect) Pool is impressive. The bar tenders and waiters work really hard to make sure you are happy, and that is a huge thing in a resort. Have computers free to use the internet, a bonus. Read more

"I will allways stay at this hotel from now on"
The hotel was incredible, our stay, although short was great. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. You can tell that service to them is king. The room was clean and had a great lagoon view. The price could not be beat. I will not stay anywhere else in Cancun.

"Great hotel"
Very nice hotel. Every thing is very clean and the junior suite was spacious and very nice. Nicely reconstructed beach. Pools and hot tubs that always had enough space. It is relatively quite, especially at night. Bus stop right outside so very easy to get to things. It is a fair distance from the clubs and bars. Would definitely recommend it.
"Pretty Good Value"
Overall feel like we got a good value. Because the hotel was not very full, we were upgraded from a regular lagoon view room to a junior suite ocean view. However, there was no access to the water from the beach. Sand had been washed away, leaving only large rocks on the beach. The rooms were very noisy. We like to stay out and party too, but when we […] did get to bed we could hear doors slamming and furniture (chairs) sliding around all night every night. The view was beautiful. Room was clean and service was great. Read more
"Nice relaxing vacation"
We were 2 weeks in Mexico and at the end we took 3 days with all icluded in the Omni Cancun. The hotel is nice not giant 2 big pools very nice room is clean and spacious with nice balconey All inclusive: food is nice but not s.t to talk to mamy about :-) alcohol is not that great as most of teh bars spread around the hotel compound have basic quality […] drinks margaritas and cocktails are very very low in alcohol if you go to the Loby bar they have good alcohol but they hide it behind the normal bottles so you have to ask for it the all inclusive is rather expensive if you don't intend to goorge on food and drinks but if you do not take all inclusive the prices are very expensive and since u are in a rsort you will not go out beach is beautifull in summarry : nice getaway!!!! "Outstanding Hotel, Great Experience"
Hotel staff were wonderful, friendly and very accomodating. Very efficiently run hotel. I give this Hotel my highest recommendation. I will absolutely visit here again.
"The omni cancun"
Very clean, nice hotel right on the beach. Loved the beachfront grill for breakfast & lunch. We stayed for 2 nights and did not get the "all inclusive" package and things got a little pricey...($$$ for a coke or bottled water, etc...) but would recommend.
"One Night Experience"
My second stay at the Omni. I stayed only one night but the check-in was not a problem; staff were courteous and friendly and on a busy Saturday they had me in my room within the hour. The hotel looks like it is well maintained and the balconies are private with a fair amount of room- not huge but comfortable. If you have an ocean view you can see a […] fantastic sunrise. Rooms look like they are cleaned with care. It's worth returning. I didn't have the all-inclusive plan so I can't comment on the cuisine. Read more
"recomendo"
Adoramos o Omni !
"This hotel is the best"
Everything in this hotel is perfect, service perosnalen are friendly, the management is helpful and professional. The only thing that bothered my kids at night was the high noise level in the parties on the pole areas. I really recommend this hotel.
