The Plush Hotel was a lovely place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was decent. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would have appreciated better pillows. The grounds were gorgeous. It was close to the airport which was convenient for our early flight out the next morning and the staff were willing to set breakfast out early for us so long as we told them what time we needed to leave. I would stay there again.

I would have enjoyed my stay at the hotel but I was put out that they asked me to make a deposit of £100 when I went to settle up the next day. There was no mention of this requirement at the time of booking and I thought that it was a huge cheek! What if I didn't have £100 in my account? Or what if that was ALL that I had in my account? What if I'd […] paid in cash and not by card? This did sour the whole experience for me and I would think twice before staying at this particular hotel again. Read more
