Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.
Location.
Situated in Coquitlam, Best Western Plus Chelsea Inn is a family-friendly hotel on a river and close to Red Robinson Show Theatre. Additional area attractions include Coquitlam Centre and Metropolis at Metrotown.
Hotel Features.
Best Western Plus Chelsea Inn has an outdoor pool, a sauna, and a fitness facility. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas. There is a business center on site. A complimentary breakfast is available. Additional amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and coffee in the lobby. Onsite parking is complimentary. The property may provide extended parking privileges to guests after check-out (surcharge). This is a smoke-free property.

our room was cold and beside the elevator. Hotel beside highway so very loud and could hear train horns all night.

Quite adequate - certainly not luxurious, but price was right, hotel was clean, bathrooms clean, no bed bugs, and adequate breakfast with choice of 3 cereals, juice, tea, coffee, milk, 2 types of toast, wrapped muffins and pastries, boiled eggs, waffles and syrup. We opted for room at back - no view, but quieter than on main road should imagine. We […] visited family close by. Entrance to freeway a bit tight but we managed and would stay here again; as I said price was right and the facility clean but not luxurious if that is what you are wanting. There was a microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the room plus TV. Parking space was plenty. Wireless connection for computer in room and in lobby was not good. Staff were friendly enough. "good value"
the room was a bit dated but very clean, (aside from the yellow stained shower curtian) the hotel staff was friendly professional and very helpful. the hotel is located on a busy road but I didnt find my room on backside to be too noisy. this hotel is not fancy but it has what you need for a budget stay, the breakfast is well done and the gym equipment […] and sauna work suprisingly well Read more

I was told and expexted a heated pool which is why I picked this hotel in the first place but when I got there they said the pool was closed. Then I was under the impression there was a balcony all furnished and there was no balcony let alone furnish. I was not happy with the booking agent as they should know these things. "Close to Cinema, shopping and more shopping"
I always stay at the Chelsea hotel when I go to Douglas College, shopping or just visiting. I feel safe and very comfortable staying there.

Friendly staff - everyone I encountered said hello. They serve waffles now for breakfast. Would be nice to have peanut butter with the toast however. "Best Western Chelsea"
I found my room to be quite satisfactory. The bed was comfortable and the nights were quiet. Very easy access to the freeway, east or west.

I enjoyed my stay but I was not given the room that I ordered based on the web-site description and thus over-payed. Other than that the place was clean, the people were great, and the continental breakfast was adequate.....
"The Hotel in Coquitlam Chelsea"
We found the hotel adequate, somewhat dated however we picked for the location, close to Coquitlm Centre and the US border. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

Not a great place old decor, stayed in downtown Victoria, in a lovely hotel with a nicer room for cheaper. One block from the ocean. Need to clean the place up and the decor.
