The hotel was going through some renovations, but that didn't affect my room. The walls apparently are paper thin but, fortunately, people in the adjacent rooms weren't all that noisy so I slept well. Mattress was comfortable with fitted sheets, shower was good. The carpet was iffy, but the room otherwise was clean and the heat/ac unit operated quietly […] and had a "continuous fan" option. Nice room, spacious, well furnished, but they did not make the beds, did not replace soap, cups, sheets, towels. We had to request towels. Also broken Shower valve, which we notified them but no repairs. We were there 2 nights. Never again.

We were very impressed with the accommodations considering the over all "rating" of the hotel. The check in process seemed to be a little slow, but the service was pleasant enough to forget about the amount of time it took to check in. Thank you for a greak visit!

I was booked 4/12-4/14. I was locked out 4/13/13 when I returned to my room @ 1:00 am. I had to go the front desk & get another key. The Bar was not serving alcohol all weekend.

The hotel is older and going thru renovations, the carpet in our room was dirty, we couldnt open the sliding glass door because the track was filty, we called the desk they came and cleaned it out, the plumbing broke right out side our room, no hot water, and no call from management to say sorry or anything, we asked for a handicapped room, i reserved […] 4 months in advance they said they did not have one until wednesday we had arrived on a monday, they said they would call us, we never received a call, after the dirty room, the plumbing and no calls from the management I went to the desk and spoke with the front desk person please have the manager call us, again no call, when I asked for her business card they were all out of them, aarrgghh. It was inexpensive but a comfortable place to stay. I will probably not stay there again as it had a door to the outside and the neighborhood was a higher crime area. I did not feel really safe. The room was clean as well as the bathroom and bedding.

Over all the stay was good, it is very quiet. I liked the court yard and ease of access to all except the silverware and Breakfast. There are fridges and microwaves in the rooms but no silverware, I went to the Lobby and they told me I had to go into the Bar/Restaurant attached to the Hotel to get some. They did not offer to get it for me and since […] I was already in my Lounge Jammie's I would not go into the Bar which was now serving nighttime Locals at the Bar. They should have a few sets in the Lobby just to be prepared for late returns! Also, I was disappointed in the Breakfast Served, also in the very back portion of the Bar, not much to choose from, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, soggy precooked waffles, a few danish and muffins and a small amount of cold cereal. 3 tables setup for Hotel Guests in that Bar and the TV still at Bar level in volume....EAR PIERCING!! @ 6:30 AM. But, now knowing what I know, I would still stay there, I liked everything else about the place, nice atmosphere, QUIET, easy access to all I needed and....I will grab silverware @ check-in and go elsewhere for Breakfast. Room was clean and kept, even under bed, (yes, I check, used to clean them myself for years!), old Hotel but refurbished nicely. I have stayed here various times. It is secure and close to plenty of convient eating establishments. The rooms are always clean and modern. The breakfast in the morning is great and well set out. The only thing I have to say is that I don't like the internet. While it is free it has never worked well in any of the rooms I've stayed in. It gets normal […] reception in the lobby but out in the rooms it's a poor reception. This time I couldn't even use it as I was in the back rooms. I could connect but the signal would never last. I did call the front office and they offered to change my room so they are receptive and courteous but it would be great if the hotel somehow remedied this for the entire hotel. Read more
