The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend).

Very happy with Hotel Sorrento City. Staff spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. Room was very comfortable with the only drawback being the TV in the room had only one Engligh speaking channel (MTV...ugh). Excellent location and easy to find right on the main street near the train station. Very good breakfast and free Wi-Fi included which worked very well in the room. Highly recommend Hotel Sorrento City.

We were going back to Charlotte NC. From the moment tbat we steped into the lobby area, We were greeted, taken care of. The hotel management to the person that carried our baggage to our room I felt that I was coming back to friends. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in Naples. It was an outstanding short stay. What a palace.

"Nice for the Price"
We got a good deal for a Capri hotel. The hotel is located in a great area. It is outside the high traffic area, but still very convenient to everything and getting your luggage there. The staff was attentive to everything you needed. The breakfast was also nice. We were upgraded to a balcony room which was a nice bonus. "Stay in Capri"
This hotel is in the middle of Capri town. Its a great location away from the tourist showing up during daytime but its a 2 minute walk from all the action. Teo the staff person working at the hotel is the kindest and most helpful person. The rooms are large , clean and a good value. The breakfast buffet could improve a little but it was average. "Excellent location"
great location, great pool, very good breakfast, super clean room, beautiful view from balcony. From the marina take the funiculor to capri town and walk about 5 minutes to the hotel....super easy. The cab ride was 20 euro and we could have taken the funiculor for 2 euro! We would definitely stay here again. Free computer on the mezzanine for checking […] email. Overall, very satisfied! Definitely enjoyed Capri town versus anacapri. (anacapri too small and not enough stuff to do) Go see Villa Jovis (about 45 minute walk from middle of capri town) and also see villa lysis which is on the way to villa jovis. "Nice hotel on the right spot"
On - quiet - expensive Capri this hotel gives you good value for your money. The local is perfect. Close to sites, restaurants, shopping etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay here again, next time.

The hotel is strongly recommended. Affordable prices, and the located right in downtown Capri. Very quiet day and night, and great pool area with sun all afternoon. From here you can walk to all sights on the island except Anacapri. We were upgraded free of charge to a room with balcony/garden view.
