First the positive. This room is in a great location and you could tell that the maid service did the best they could for what they had to work with. The carpet in our room had a huge stain on it and either the water from the toilet or from the hallway had run in. The shower curtain was suppose to be white and it was almost brown. I would not even let […] my foot touch the floor on that gross carpet. The man at the desk had no personality at all and only wanted to sit and watch a small tv. The fire bell went off and we rushed from the room and he didn't even reassure us it was a false alarm another patron told us. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Read more

We definitely enjoyed our stay at Residence Imperiale. The room and bathroom were clean and modern and the staff were also quite friendly. Also, the neighborhood is great from a practical perspective. Having a Carrefour (grocery store) across the street was hugely convenient for grabbing quick snacks and loading up on any personal care items you'd rather […] not haul through airport security. There is also a corner bakery nearby (to the left, if looking at the front door) which had tasty but affordable pastries/coffee for breakfast, and a few affordable cafes/bakeries a few blocks away along Avenue Grand Armee. However, while it is very close to the Metro and RER, it is somewhat out of the way from the major touristy sites: it's about a 45 minute walk to Notre Dame, 30 minutes to Tour Eiffel, 15 minutes to Champs Elysees, and 10 minutes to the Arc d'Triomphe. Overall, while we did enjoy our stay, we will probably stay closer to the heart of the city next time (e.g., Latin Quarter). Read more

The hotel was in a nice area. Just off of the main strip. The metro station was only about a 1 minute walk from the front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and help us find a nice little restaurant just down the street. They answered all our questions about the city.

I stayed at the Residence Imperiale for three nights and was really impressed. It's a great location for the money. You're within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and a lot of good attractions. The rooms are tiny though.

Hotel is situated near public transportation: Subway, Bus. and Air France Airport bus. Very quiet, well maintained. Rooms are very small which makes it hard to move for two, also not Internet connection, two negatives. Excellent Corsican restaurant half a block away ( a bit pricy for us with converted Euros from Dollars. ) Overall great hotel.

Great hotel for couples, family friendly, quiet, in a fantastic neighborhood. Close to the metro and unicar drop off location when you travel to and from the airport. Breakfast not included but plenty of places in the neighborhood for coffee etc. Front desk very helpful.

Hotel itself is most impressive in internal structure, decoration and fittings of bedrooms. Only criticisms are that thin walls mean you can easily hear rowdy exchanges next door and, at 16€, breakfast is a little expense, even though it's true that it provides much choice.

I booked an extra night separately, so ended up staying in both a superior room and an ordinary one, and although I was very pleased with both, I definitely think the superior was worth the little bit extra. The room decor is clearly newer (it's the ones in the photos) and felt a lot more stylish and comfortable for not very much more money at all. […] Overall though, everything was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal as I needed to be at Porte Maillot for work. Supermarket across the road was open late for snacks, and there is also a bakery a little further along. Having tried several hotels in the same area on my previous trips, this is probably the first one I would go back to. Suited our visit as we were travelling from Beavais airport to Porte Maillot bus station and this hotel was ideal as it was so near. Convenient for metro and therefore a very good location. Generally very happy with whole experience. Would stay there again and would recommend to friends.

We stayed at the Hotel Malakoff over the very hot weekend at the end of September. The staff were very good indeed. The attention to detail of the chamber staff left a liitle to be desired, but not to the extent where it became a major problem. The rooms are becoming a little tired. Overall, the stay was fine, and the location was good.

This is a comfortable hotel very convenient to the Palais de Congres, the No. 1 line of the Metro and the Bois de Boulogne. The breakfast was great, the service desk was excellent. Two small quibbles: the door hinges need some WD-40 as they opened loudly. And it would really have been nice to have access to a sports channel and some English news on […] the TV. At first appearance the hotel was very nice. The lobby and reception desk looked similar to pictures. Although very small. There was a rotation of employees working the front desk.The first woman we had was very nice and friendly. The other two employees were slightly more cold but pleasant none the less. When we got to our superior room it was definitely […] a shock at how small it was. We knew it would be small but it was much smaller than our expectations. Especially considering that it was a superior room. I can't even imagine the standard rooms being any smaller. The room was nice though. It has a balcony and a clean bathroom. The only things I would consider grungy would be the bottom of the shower curtain and our closet mirror had a crack in it. Fairly typical for a 3 star hotel so we didn't mind. One morning we got woken up by the fire alarm going off so we went downstairs in our pajamas to see what was going on and nobody told us anything. They all acted as if nothing was happening. So we went back to our room. We still don't know exactly what went on. A small downside to the hotel was the maids. They were quite rude on numerous occasions. But other than that the hotel was in a good location and in good condition. The staff was good and it was just about what you would expect for the star rating. I want to start by saying that this Hotel is well maintained, clean and located very near a Metro and Bus staion which gets you into the heart of Paris in minutes. It is within walking distances of the Eiffel Tower and L' Arc de Triomphe and Le Champs d'Elissee. Great Restaurants nearby. Transportation from Charles de Gaulle Airport gets you within […] a block of the Hotel. All great. The only draw-back is the size of the room we had. Just enough for the bed. Admittedly we just left an Apartment we had at the Costa Del Sol in Spain. Thus a bit of a schock. This was made up by the excellent service and support we received from the Receptionists. Firstly, this is a lovely hotel, 5 mins walk from the Arc de Triumph, 1 min away from the Metro which takes you anywhere in Paris. Really nice & safe area. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the Arc Du Triumph and a great spot for exploring Paris, there is a metro station very close by which makes getting to the outer areas of Paris very easy. Most of Paris is within walking distance […] and getting around by foot is very easy and enables you to see more of the city than when using the Metro system. I have to say we had a rain storm and used the Batobus to see some of the City and get around and that is also worth doing. jeg havde et superior værelse som er lidt mere rummeligt end de fleste hotelværelser rundt omkring, pænt uden at være prangende, lidt slidt interiør (tapet der ikke sad helt godt fast i hjørnerne). Skrivebordet var dog for højt til at det var godt at sidde og arbejde ved. Et hyggeligt lille Hotel, med fine spise og indkøbs muligheder tæt på, inklusive […] en carrfour city lige overfor. Gå-afstand til Triumfbuen, Eiffel tårnet, og hvis man kan lide at gå, Notre Dame. Bra hotell till rimligt pris. Minus för gammalt och ofräscht duschdraperi, att aircondition inte fungerade och att det lät ordentligt från rören. Sängarna var mindre sköna, med någon sorts galonmadrass (?). Plus för läget, ca 5 min promenad till triumfbågen och jättenära till Metro och Ryanairs flygbussar.
