We got an excellent rate through Hotels.com. Travelodge delivered more than expected. An older property but clean and comfortable. Every staff member we dealt with was friendly & helpful. The on site pub was a nice touch for a cool refreshment at the end of the day. Very nice people working there as well.

We were traveling with two young children and our room was directly over the hotel bar. The noise was ridiculous and included drunk people screaming outside till 2am. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.

The front desk clerk was very pleasant and accommodating. The room was very small and basic, but it was sufficient for my needs. I was happy to find a small fridge in the room. There was a smear on the toilet seat that was probably exactly what I thought it was. Other than that, everything was ok. You get what you pay for!

Older hotel compared to others in the area. Very convenient to Interstate. Rooms were old and had slight smoke/stale air odor. This was probably due more to the lack of use than the cleanliness. We arrived at the hotel after 12:00 am, we were really tired and ready to get some sleep. But the hotel had a rock concert on the main floor until 2:00 am in the morning. We were on the other end of the building, but it was still so unbearably loud. Not only was it hard rock, but some of the lyrics were absolutely vulgar, and there were two children […] with us. We were not happy. Our stay was for four days, we checked in on a thursday and left on a Monday. Friday morning,we left for the day and returned at approximately 4;45 p.m.to find the room had not been attened to by the maid. We did not say anything at the time as we had a dinner date at 6:00 p.m. However, Sat. morning as we were leaving for the day, […] WE mentioned it at the front desk and they assured us that it would be taken of and sorry for the inconvenience. Upon returning , to the room approximately 5:15 p.m.we found the same condition as we left it in the morning, no maid service.WE immediately went to the front desk to report this. They apologised and called a maid to take of the situation. Now let's address the card entry system for room, how hard is it to code the card for a 4-day stay? we had to get the card re-coded, not once but twice, and this is from a motel where everyone has to come though the lobby. there are no outside entrances to the rooms. Now I will mention a third point, which I should have mentioned first, after a ten hour road trip, there was no smiling face to greet us. It was only 8:45 p.m. and the sign at the front desk said to ring the buzzer. Please, they weren't even in the offices behind the desk. That buzzer is there for the night clerk i.e. midnight to 5:00 a.m. not to taken advantage of so somebody dosen:t have to man the front desk. Read more

This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in! It was one-half the size of most other hotel rooms. I kept stubbing my toe on a chair as I walked around the bed. We stayed here 4 nights and it was loud and 1 night we did not sleep due to loud TV in next room. Called and complained at 2am and again at 4:30am we had 2 hours of interruped sleep before heading to airport to drop off family member. One of the best price options around. Nothing fancy, and definitely is showing wear and tear. But, no complaints. Breakfast included the usual pastries, cereal, waffles, juices and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a small bar on premises, but no food within a short walking distance of the hotel.

They are working on refurbishing the hotel but we got an underfurbished room and we discovered black mold under the bathroom wallpaper. We notified the manager and he assured us that the problem would be taken care of. The fridge didn't keep our food cold and the tv wasn't working very well. this hotel was pretty decent for the price. the front desk attendant was helpful when we locked ourselves out of our room. the only issue was that the refrigerator in the room did not work. we didn't really need it though, so we didn't say anything about it. therefore, i can not speak to the timeliness of the maintenance staff.

Travelodge Batavia is convenient to Darien Lake Performing Arts Center and accepts pets. It's clean if a bit run down looking compared to the Quality Inn next door. No vending was available at the Travelodge; the desk staff referred us to a local convenience store, which was already closed at 10:30 pm on a Friday night--so bring your own snacks if you […] plan to stay there. There were a few little quirks--the fitted sheet on my bed was inside out, my friend's flat sheet was put on sideways, our door handle only worked if you turned it upwards instead of downwards, our keys stopped working the first night and had to be reactivated. The service was very friendly, however, and the hotel was comfortable and clean overall.

My son and I had a great stay. We enjoyed the short driving time it took us to go to Darien Lake from the hotel, and I really liked the price of the hotel stay. The hotel was nice and cozy, as much as a hotel can be. We will be looking to this hotel again in the near future for our vacation needs.
