Normally when you walk in a hotel it has that fresh hotel smell. This hotel smells like tobacco. The restaurant is more of a local bar and people hanging out in the hallways. Not the safest feel. The non-smoking rooms smell like smoke. The room had an oder. I had to buy a plug in. bed not comfy, there were no liners in my trash cans and a big iron print […] on the floor. I probably wouldn't choose this hotel for a family vacation, but, it worked well for the amt of time spent in it and for the price. There was obviously a blow dryer at some point, but, was never replaced... The front cover for the heating/cooling unit was disconnected from the unit... The room was very sloppily vacuumed... Just needed a room for the night on our way south. The room itself was ok, but the bed was the worst bed I've ever slept on. I think the floor might have been more comfortable. The pillows were also terrible. Considering the price we paid, I feel like I can't complain too much, but I doubt I would stay there again.

In general, I believe that you get what you paid for and this was a fairly cheap room. HOWEVER, I would not stay here again even if they paid me. When I got there, the hotel and room were freezing (my clock/thermometer said 55 degrees), so I turned on the incredibly noisy heater. When the room was finally up to a decent 65, I turned the heater off, […] and within 10 minutes it was freezing again. There was clearly no insulation in the walls, as evidenced by the gigantic hole that was in my interior wall, and as also evidenced by the fact that I could hear everything happening in all rooms around me. When it was time for sleep, the mattress was covered in a type of plastic that was very loud and uncomfortable, and again, it was freezing. My options were to have the heater on, which sounded like a plane taking off all the time, or have it off and be cold, which I chose. Little did I know that even if the heater is off, it automatically "cycles" every 15 minutes, which will cause even the soundest sleeper to sit up in bed. I got absolutely no sleep, and the only "comfort" that the front desk gave me in the morning was to say, "Yeah, it does cycle." No explanation for why the entire hotel was freezing or why there is no absolute shut off for the noisy heater. Pay a little extra and stay at another hotel. Read more

I was a bit bothered that the "D" entrance door return was broken and the exterior door was often found ajar. I should have mentioned it to the staff and was too distracted with other business. The staff was pleasant and for the money, it worked well. I was in town for the Columbus Marathon and just needed a quiet place to sleep.

Where do I start? Card key (changed 3 times) did not work for entry to building. Air conditioner had ONE level (HIGH) and clanked and banged around all night, creating no sleep. Getting up at 4:30 AM...no hot water in the shower...bedside lamps did not work...went down one evening for dinner in their restaraunt, sat there for 25 minutes, no one came […] in, didn't look like anyone was working in there. Front desk clerk offered to call "back to the staff, they are in there" I told him to forget it. This Days Inn is a dive...don't stay there. It will be a long time before I stay at another Days Inn. horrible. lamp didn't work in two rooms. shower head fell on my son as he took a shower. Pool not open till monday (memorial day) when told it would be open that weekend. Last day of extended weekend not convenient in 90 degree weather. Ice machine broke on my first floor. suggested to go to second.

Two wash cloths, 4-5 towels in room. No ice on 1st floor--had to go to 2nd floor for ice, per an employee at the hotel. The bar, restaurant and fitness room were all a joke. I decided to take a run outside only to have to come back after 1 mile due to the bad neighbourhood. It was nice outside but I couldn't leave my window open because they didn't have sreens, The list goes on and on, do NOT stay at the MOTEL!

Is an OK place to stay but the staff does not comunicate well. I ask twice for a rollover bed and never got it because one person didnt tell the next person and the next shift didnt check the notes.
