We were pretty well happy with our stay. The room should have had a vacuum run over the floor , especially by the bed. The coffee carafe had no top on it but I improvised. Overall was fine.

this hotel was very, very nice especially for the price! the two guys at the front desk were very pleasant and accomodating of my boyfriends grandparents who were traveling with us. the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and the water pressure in the shower was great. No complaints at all!

Remodeled and upgraded. Still needs a few maintenance upgrades on the outside but overall a moderate stay and close to local area. WiFi is available but cuts in and out. Reported this to management. Continental breakfast is a bit sparse but make yourself a waffle and who could complain? Even had a visit from a kitten who was very friendly.

Dirt under dresser not moved when cleaning for how long?Drain needed cleaned in tub. I cleaned it. standing in water when showering.

Overall no complaints. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. Everything worked well including TV and plumbing/shower. Short 20 min drive to Emmitsburg (purpose of visit) and 35 minute drive to Gettysburg.

It's cheap, so you get what you pay for. There was a dead cricket and some other trash on the floor when we checked in. However, it was the cheapest place in the area, and I barely spent any time in it as I was only in town for a wedding. I never used the fitness room or the breakfast, so I can't say anything about those.

The Hotel is lack in some amenites I find useful to travelers. There is neither a Refregrator nor Microwave in the rooms. As a result of which I lost a large quantity of my prepared food for two days. The TV is an old type which cannot be connected to a DVD player thereby making staying in the room boring.

Better than the last place I stayed when I went to see Gettysburg. Pricing was a couple of bucks less, but also farther distance to Gettysburg. They turn your A/C off during the day, so put a card on your door not to service.

We arrived to be greeted at the front desk by the most ghetto looking guy wearing a ghetto hat, who was about as warm as an angered Pitbull. The room had a very funky smell to it, so since it was non-refundable we ended up spending fifty dollars on Yankee Candles to cover up the funk. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.

We had just come from a state park lodge that was half again as much and had far fewer amenities than this motel. It is not fancy, but is comfortable, reasonably priced, and the owners and staff were friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

It ain't the Taj Mahal, but the lovely Indian family who runs this hotel do their best to make it pleasant. The price was reasonable, the rooms mostly clean, it's swimming in free wifi, and it's just one block away from a 24 hour mini mart with a RedBox kiosk. I did get the sense, though, that the hotel had seen better days, which made me a little […] sad. A large sign on the side of the building had its former name on it, and the free continental breakfast was served in a room that was apparently once the dining room for a full service breakfast joint. Ah well... Perhaps the new manager will channel some Mughal roots he may possess and turn this little hotel into a magnificent monument to his wife. And when he does, I will return. Read more

This hotel is under new management and they are putting a lot of updates. Rooms are very clean and good size. Has comcast cable and wi-fi Internet service that was fast. We were in town for a wedding and three different families stayed in three different rooms and no complaints from any of us. Very good place to stay especially for the price.

By that I mean, you pretty much get what you pay for. Yes, the hotel is clean and comfortable and about 25 miles from Gettysburg. For the cheap price I would consider staying there again. I asked for a Hotel in the Gettysburg area, since I was spending time visiting the battlefield sight for a few days. This Motel was 40-45 minutes away from Gettysburg. The place was run by young incompetant people. I decided to get another place to stay & found one whithin 2 miles of Gettysburg. This hotel was better than the reviews I read prior to booking. The down side was the booking through Hotels.com. The web indicated smoking room and I requested "no smoking" however the gentleman (Jason) from Hotels.com told me there was an error on the web site and a "no smoking" room was available. He put a request on the booking form for no smoking […] however there were no "no smoking" rooms available and the hotel was full. The manager was sympathetic but could not get us in a "no smoking" room He gave us a can of "Fabreeze" which we used.
