Stayed a night during the one day water boil scare....had a great time at the bar during happy hour for drinks and food. Then ordered more food for room service. Great and prompt room service. The room was pretty big and beds were nice. All and all a great stay and would suggest it for anyone that not worrying about prices. "Nice hotel close to MAX"
The room we stayed in was pretty small , but pet friendly. being across from a park and next to MAX station are definite perks!Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice hotel. Close to mall and light rail. Helpful staff during water issue.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and convenient"
One of the best hotels I've stayed at in the Portland area. Staff were accommodating and informative about surrounding area. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel was clean and the bar/restaurant was great for convenient dining or a nightcap. Hotel is located right next to Lloyd center MAX stop for red, green and blue lines, making it easy to get […] around the city without driving. Parking was attached to hotel and only $10 for the day/night. Would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I like the warm cookie upon check-in. The coffee kiosk was nice. The bell and registration staff was very helpful. Nice lobby, comfy chairs, tasty food. Right across the street from Lloyd Center and a block from the Trimet light rail.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel...close to Hawthorne Theater"
I had nothing but a very pleasing experience and I would definitely stay there again while I'm in Portland for a concert. I had a balcony with a view of a park. I had three teenage boys with me who were attending a concert at the theater, and while they were there, I soaked in a very nice bath tub. :)Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was spacious, clean, and located convenient to both Loyd's Center and downtown. Ate breakfast there and it was delicious and moderately priced. Good value!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice welcome to Portland"
Our stay started with warm chocolate cookies so the bar was set high at the outset but they did not disappoint. Friendly service and a clean comfortable room. It was more affordable than staying downtown and was right next to the light rail train so it was easy to reach the downtown area. There were also great places to eat within blocks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
good location next to the mall , very clean and niceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice place. Had a great time. The cookies really are the best!!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
"IN THE CITY FOR A RACE"
Conveniently located, quiet, clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Parking was $10.00 a day which is reasonable for the area. Excellent breakfast buffet for $11.00. This hotel is across the street from Lloyd Center, has a nice park nearby and close to public transportation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"They wanted me to what???"
I booked a room for a birthday weekend and who else than Hilton right? Well... When we arrived with my sister her husband and my best friend I was informed that my double queen room had been given to another group of individuals, when I told them that that was not going to work they only offered me free breakfast? When I told them that did not solve […] the sleeping arrangements of two females and a couple... they get this....offered to send up two foldable beds!!! Did they really expect me to pay over 250 a night to sleep on a futon on my birthday? I was less than satisfied with their suggestions to solve the issue. Wonderful stay! Comforts galore. A bit tricky to find.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This Double tree location is the worst one I have ever been too in regards to the quality of the hotel rooms, carpets, and amenities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a wonderful stay at Doubletree Hilton. We had a king with balcony view room. The view from our room was amazing. Everything in the room was tidy and our bed was very comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed a night at the hotel. It was a good place. The room was nice and clean. I've stayed in better places for the price of this hotel but it served it's purpose. The staff was good. It seemed more like I was paying for the name more than anything. I would stay at the hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient hotel to downtown Portland"
It's a big hotel that is right by the MAX station and plenty of bus lines. It's easy to transfer to any of the lines, and to get to downtown. The room was spacious, and had a great morning view of Mt. Hood. The coffee/tea amenities clearly had not been touched in a long time, so there was quite a bit of dust on them. The hotel itself is old - the ceiling […] tiles looked ancient, the hall lights were barely lit, and the wall paint in the room looked like it was peeling. But you can't beat the location and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient part of the city"
Nice hotel. VERY convenient to the MAX (Light rail). Great view of park and mountains. Nice that we could have the family dog.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed with family of 4 over night before the Portland Trail Blazers game against Golden State Warriors. Easy check in an check out. Service was great. Close to the mall an Moda Center. One thing I did not like was doubled billed for one night stay. Will get refunded with in 72 hours. Will see...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nicely appointed large room"
Our room was plenty big for 2 adults and 2 large boys. Nice furnishings, clean, good linens, comfortable bed. I chose our room view of the park and mountains. Not sure if sunset on the mountain peaks was the most beautiful view, or if it was watching the sun rise behind the mountains. Both gorgeous. Small balcony a plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to Moda Building"
Hotel was very clean and put together. Breakfast was pricey but worth it! Room comes equipped with hairdryer and iron which were both helpful!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed at hotel for a concert. Close to MODA center for quick walk. Room was fairly small but comfortable enough. Overall I'd say a good stay though a bit costly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to attractions, but..."
Nice hotel, and was grateful that it was walking distance to the Moda Center. The only complaint is that the main entrance doors are so far away from Multnomah, so you had to walk almost all the way around to get started on the journey.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very Clean Room, Very Helpful Staff, Great Location For Events At The Rose Garden (Moda), Very Nice Restaurants, Just a Darn Good Place To Stay While In Portland.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but functional"
The hotel staff was great, very friendly. But the room was a little loud because they placed us right next to the room service/storage room. The room was small but clean except for the brown stains on our bed covers. No internet access in the room. Overall, if you're just looking for a place to sleep, it does the job. Definitely not like all the other […] Double Tree I've stayed at. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a good stay"
Rooms had a smell to them. People party all night in the streets, walls paper thin. Staff was good, only good thing about this place was the cookies.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Adequate, no frills or thrills"
Beds were comfortable for my one-night stay. Food in the facilities and well-located away from the hustle-bustle but close enough and accessible. Plain room, spacious. No sense of home-away from home but a little more than adequate. Really enjoyed the balcony. All in all, I would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our stay at your hotel was okay. From the pictures on your webiste, we thought it would be alot nicer. Very disappointed that there was no microwave or a mini fridge to store anything. We have kids and there was nothing kid friendly about the room. The beds were nicely made but the sheets were stained and luckily it was on the bottom therefore we did […] not have to use it otherwise there would of been a compliant to concierge. Other guests were very loud and obnoxious arguing in the hallways of the floor we were staying at. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
I was booked at this hotel for a conference that I would be attending at the Oregon Convention Center. Location-wise, this place was great--literally across the street from a MAX stop and only two stops away from the convention center. There was also a mall with a food court and restaurant attached that was only about a block and a half away. However, […] the hotel itself did not impress me much. My room was VERY small--barely enough room for the queen sized bed and desk they shoved in there--, and the bathroom area was small as well. I was also disappointed by the cleaning crew--I ordered room service on my first night, and they LEFT THE FOOD in my room after cleaning it. There was also clearly stuff on the floor that they did not vacuum in their "cleaning" of it. Moreover, every time I ordered room service, the food arrived cold and tasted rather ill-prepared. Overall, I like the hotel for its location, but if you're paying anything close to the rack rate, choose another location. This place is rather outdated and in need of an overhaul. Everyone at this hotel is courteous and friendly - we've stayed here a few times and it is consistently nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We loved everything about the Hilton DoubleTree in Portland and would highly recommend it to others. The friendliness of the staff is what struck us the most. They all offered us high quality service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for event at Moda center"
Convenient, parking was more money than stated on hotels.com. $20/night Sun-Thursday, but overall great place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect for downtown"
Came up to go enjoy a night in downtown Portland and loved the hotel. Close to Max line which made going downtown easy. Good location and great rates compared to others in the area. Very nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The only concern was that the bathroom could have been cleaner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"4 blocks from Oregon Convention Center"
The one negative is the cost of parking. $10 a night. DoubleTree (Really all Hilton properties) should be honest with their prices and include the cost of parking. That way I could have paid in advance for everything. OK Second Negative - restaurant prices. IT was simple - I didn't eat at the hotel (A previous stay taught me that. Good Food Good Options, […] but overpriced, at least for Breakfast.. Pool is outdoors so not available this time of year. Everything else is a real positive IMPO. Good location (I was going to an event at the OCC), fairly easy access. Reserve the larger rooms, that puts you in the new wing. This is a MUCH better place to stay than the nearby Red Lion! "Depends on your reason for staying there"
I was staying for a couple of weeks before I moved into my new apartment nearby, in order to take care of all the business I needed to do. everything was fine except that there was no refrigerator in the room. As I don't drink alcohol i needed somewhere to keep fresh milk for tea and coffee. There were not enough teabags for me. Similarly, a microwave […] would have been helpful, as I didn't wish to eat in the noisy restaurant in the evenings and there was only one place in the neighborhood as an alternative. I was staying for nearly 2 weeks and preferred to eat a main meal at noontime. Otherwise the staff were helpful. The hotel was comfortable and very convenient to public transportation, as I do not drive. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Within walking distance to mall and public transportation. Went to Portland to seee a Trail Blazer game. Moda Center is about 2-3 stops on the Tri-Met from the hotel. I liked the staff . There was no fridge in my room , didn't like that . Water would have been a nice addition too .Genuine Expedia guest review
The restaurant- the Mahatonah? Grill was amazing! Great service- great food - and great drinks. The bed in the room was so comfortable! The room was a little small and so was the t.v.- that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars for everything. Also it was surrounded by other hotels- not much you can explore on foot.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel and reasonably priced."
Hotel was nice, pretty clean and staff was great. The hotel was in a perfect location. Close to Downtown and Freeway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wish they had a mini fridge and the room would have been bigger for the price. I could have saved by staying at the shilo inn instead. They had a mini fridge and the room was bigger for half the price!Genuine Expedia guest review
We arrived on a Saturday night at 9pm. We did not see a valet service so we self parked in the garage. Check-in was quick and easy and we were informed the garage was $10 a night parking. We enjoyed our spacious room and comfy beds. Toiletries and towels were very nice. The hotel was quiet and had a view of Portland. We had the breakfast buffet in the […] morning. It was excellent food, but could use more staff to fill drinks, clear plates, and take hot entrée orders. Overall it was an excellent stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
