"A nice night's stay"
I had business meetings all day and late into the evening so I didn't get to the relaxing part of the hotel....breakfast was ok. The egg patties were a little dry and the coffee cups were too small for the to go tops but all that was minor. I had a 7am meeting at the hospital so I knew I could get something later. But the bed was soooo comfortable I […] was so refreshed in the morning, I never knew I had 3.5 hrs of sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Wireless did not work for most of the day, fridge was dirty, phone did not work the entire time I was there. Area hotel is in is very run-down. I complained about the phone and wireless but neither issue was addressed. The person working the front desk spent most of her time out front talking to someone in a car. Several calls went unanswered while […] I waited on her to come back in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

nice hotel, only problem no WLan in the room. Bad Wlan even in the hotel lobby. Around many Fast Fodd restaurants and shops like CVS. City near by car 1,5 Mile awayGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"So bad it was funny"
There was nothing wrong with the hotel. The bathroom could have been cleaned better, but for price it was acceptable. The service however was another story. We arrived late, just after midnight, and went to the front entrance. (I had noted in the comments that we would be arriving late.) The door was locked but there was a women working at the counter. […] She acknowledged us and held up a finger asking us to wait. After about 15 minutes of her taking phone calls, and walking back behind the counter with occasional glances up to see if we were still there we called the hotel. She answered right away and told us to come to the side entrance where they have a late night window. I'm not sure why she didn't simply point to that side (there was nothing posted at the front door about a separate window), maybe she assumed that we should know about it. She gave us our reservation and directed us to our room. (Though she seemed shocked and surprised that I would ask her where the room was.) Driving around the hotel to the room we drove past it, and thought it was strange that the lights were on and somebody was smoking right outside of the room. We decided to check it out anyway, parked and walked up to the room. The blinds were open and we could see that the room was occupied so we went back to the late night check in window. Upon arriving at the late night window we were directed to the main entrance, which was now open. (???) As soon as we walked in she said "There was somebody else in that room, right?". Even though she knew that it was occupied she seemed confused as to how it happened. She then proceeded to ask me 3 times if we needed separate beds (My coworker and myself, 2 grown men) and seemed surprised when each time I said yes. Eventually we received our new reservation and got into our room, at 1:20AM. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We reserved a room with a king bed and got one with two standard beds. After getting all our things in the room we found the toilet leaking and had to turn off the toliet water supply after flushing. Not enough towels.Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Quality Inn Medical Center Area Thank you for your comment .I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced ,we hope that we will have an opportunity to host you during your next visit to Augusta
upon arrivial we were registered, given key and away to our room. Room was clean, large and adequate for our needs. Found the toilet would not shut the water off when flushed and the sink sprayed water onto the backsplash. Notified front desk, attendeant came to the room to check the problems. It was decided to move us to another room. 1st room seemed […] to have been used and not completely serviced. 2nd room had no lights. 3rd room was suitable, comfortable and restful. Only problem with this room was caulking was missing in some areas around the tub thereby letting water get behind the tub and wall. Some unfortunate circumstances to say the least. I feel the maintenance is not adequate for a public facility such as this. This facility is very near to the hospital. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quality Inn Medical Center"
The hotel was convenient to my job interview and had good ratings, so I booked it. Overall I agree with previous reviewers - it was pretty inexpensive, my room was clean, the staff were nice, and they provided a free breakfast. Downsides were the neighborhood (not particularly a good one), it is next to the medical center so I frequently heard sirens […] the evening I stayed, outdoor entry which felt less secure, and the biscuits provided at the hot breakfast were as hard as a rock. However, I would recommend this place if you were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for an evening. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quality Inn Medical Centre, Augusta GA"
Stayed in the Inn for a period of 10 days. It is suitable for people interested in budget accommodation close to the hospital; certainly not for families and we did not enjoy our stay there at all.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very good breakfast. Free computer with printer. Free newspaper. Near local hospitals (visited my mother after operation). Comfortable room. Good shower and bath. Helpful staff. Depressing area. Oppressive weather. Candy wrappers etc. in hotel's public area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Expedia guest review

I chose to stay at the Quality Inn Med Ctr. area because of the convenience being near the University Hospital. My first stay was 8/24/14-8/28/14. The room was very nice and clean and there was a great breakfast served in the lobby. I have continued to make this my choice hotel throughout my contract at the University Hospital. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful in trying to make my stay away from home COMFORTABLE. There were a few mishaps regarding the reservation and the room not being ready but issues were resolved in timely manner. Indria, the manager and Tyler at the front desk took care of me!! Will be back soon.

I pulled in at approximately 1:30 in the morning and was greeted by a very alert employee Tonya Kitchings. She got my brother and I checked in with post haste. This was greatly appreciated, as I was quite tired from driving all day. During my stay there I encountered a problem in my room. Ms. Kitchings ensured that it was taken care of right away.
"Poor Customer Service"

This was a one night medical business stay. Checked out on 8/19/2014; the day after I discovered I left my Earl Bud Head Phone hanging on the lamp. I telephoned Quality Inn, Jeff said nothing was found but he would speak to the manager. 8/21, I received a call from the manager, she asked me to describe the item, I did, manager said we have it here. I was told to send a self addressed stamped envelope (because I live in Atlanta) and she will send to me. My envelope to Quality Inn was mailed 8/22/2014. As of 9/3/2014 I have not received my ear piece so I called Quality Inn speaking to Tanya, she knows nothing about it, said they are under new management, she will call me back (no call back). 9/8/14 I called Quality Inn speaking to Marissa, she knows nothing, said she would call me back in 15 minutes, (no call back). 9/8/2014 called Quality Inn, Marissa answered, asked me to hold for a brief moment, less than 30 seconds I got a busy signal, I called back, no one picked up. Telephoned Corp. Office Customer Relations speaking to Eric he put me on hold to touch basis with August Quality Inn, Eric got back to me saying they do not have my item and we are not responsible for items left behind. I told Eric once the manager called me and said they have the item they became responsible. Eric asked me how would I like to resolve this, I said a replacement of the item. He told me to call Augusta and tell them, then he said wish he could be of more assistance. Well, I did what was asked of me, this is so unfair. If they are not responsible, why would Eric ask me how would I like it to be resolved? Seems like no one made note of my conversations. Do they really care about their customers satisfaction? Why wasn't my ear piece mailed to me using my self addressed stamped envelope?

"What makes this hotel excellent.."
09/02/14 JudiA43 Sebring, Florida
If you judge this hotel by the cleaning staff, or the breakfast staff it would rate only a good or maybe very good....however......when you factor Shirley, the afternoon "Inn Keeper" into the equation it than raises the rating to Excellent.....Shirley always has a very pleasant attitude and a smile on her face. Shirley takes the time to really listen to you and interact with you. She is very helpful answering questions and isn't afraid to tell you if she doesn't know....but she will find out the answer for you before you leave the lobby. I stayed there for three weeks and I never saw Shirley without a smile and a pleasant word for all those she had interaction with. The Wi-Fi worked best after 10 PM.... JA, Sebring, FL

Another great stay and just when you think the service can't get any better it does! The breakfast was wonderful. Loved the addition of gravy for the biscuits! This hotel has done an amazing turn around from what it was just six months ago. Just shows that with the right people anything is possible. I'm giving kudos to property manager Tonya Kitchings. She is always there for us with any problem we have. Thanks Tonya. You are very much appreciated. Thanks from myself (Wendy) and on behalf of the Shewmake crew.
"Far better than it used to be!"
My company puts up their employees here whenever we have work in Augusta. Things are far better now but there are still some problems. One major thing for me is the wi- fi never works. We normally stay a week at a time and it has never worked for any of us. No problems with the staff or the rooms.

I am a visiting student to Augusta I stayed at Quality Inn for about 20 days. It was pretty good. Rooms are of a convenient size with quite everything u might ask for. Breakfast is good. Many restaurants are quite close to the area. The staff is nice. And oh there is Shirley, she is the sweetest of all !!
"Not very good at all"
07/26/14 Angela M Houston, Texas
We stayed one night here, and while the place itself looked okay, it was horrible! The only good thing about it was the beds were comfortable. The air conditioner was out in the lobby, and the poor girl who worked there was trying to help about 7 customers all in a line, by herself - no one else seemed to be around. We had a bad surprise when we discovered that the only restaurants nearby were BoJangles Chicken and McDonalds. We chose McDonalds and the food was terrible! The neighborhood wasn't nice at all and after dark got downright scary. The next morning we checked out the breakfast and found the dining room full of what appeared to be locals (they all knew each other and the staff was sitting down talking with them). The food was terrible - biscuits hard as a rock and gummy inside, scrambled eggs just nasty, and the pitcher of milk was sitting in a bowl with one of those little blue ice substitute things in it. Big surprise, it was sour. All in all, I wouldn't ever stay there again.
"Short staffed the whole week!!!"

I was here on business with my company. We arrived on Saturday May 31st and left Friday June 6th. They obviously cannot keep help at this hotel!! I don't know what kind of person this Soma Jerath is that owns this particular Quality Inn - but it is very obviously from comments I overhead from the housekeeping staff that he does not like to correctly staff his Hotel. You have a sold out hotel ALL WEEK and you have 1 (ONE) housekeeper to clean all the rooms of the people who check out. I wasn't the only person who was appalled at this!! I happen to see that young man tending to Housekeeping come in at 6am and he never left till after 8pm. Then he quit in the middle of the week - and they were training another young lady. I never saw the same person at the Check In desk in the afternoon - and the phone at Check Inn rang constantly because the person tending to the desk was either walking the property or out front smoking. Plus - every time I turned around - I was having to go to the front desk - because I would use my key card to open my room door - and it would read RED!! Then of course I had to wait for the Front Desk person to decide to finish her cigarette and come back in to work,. You don't run your business like this and expect your guests to understand. My company pays good money for their employees to stay in these motels. This kind of customer service is NOT ACCEPTABLE!!!!
