Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.

We chose this hotel because it was closer to city center than most others and about half the nightly rate. The room was very clean and bed was pretty comfortable, good water pressure, etc. Furniture and linens were a bit aged but that was no problem. The ice machine wasn't working but the owner of the hotel was kind enough to fill our ice bucket out of her own freezer. Biggest problem with this room was that there was no thermostat, and it was VERY warm the second night. We were able to get the window open a little, but it was about 15 degrees warmer than we would have preferred. Very quick and easy drive to all the major shopping/dining in Burlington. Overall, this motel met our needs and saved us quite a bit of money over the other options. I would stay there again.

It was a great experience. We arrived a bit early (almost 7am!) and the rep was kind enough to let us checked in (we drove 10hours from washington D.C.!!) This is a big bonus! The hotel rooms were clean and nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The gym, although small, suited our needs. Wish there is an indoor pool since it's ~30 degree out... The front desk was courteous when I called to inquire about some liquor availability, but the bartender hung up on me while I asked my friends which would they like. Bartenders are pleasant in person. Room service did a good job of cleaning while leaving things undisturbed. A bit of a drive (~20min no traffic) to downtown but not too bad and I expected this when I looked it up on the map. Only has 2 working luggage carts. Wish wifi is free in-room, not just front lobby. Great restaurants across the streets.
Location.

"Good place to spend the night before your flight"
Went down to the Savana Restaurant in the hotel, where a very nice, friendly, Polish bartender/waitress took very good care of us - food was good too.

Perfect location. Hotel reservationist did a great job. The only disappointment was I asked for a hotel with microwave and refrigerator. When we got there, there was no microwave. I did not ask hotel staff, because I booked through Hotel.com.

"Stuffy and hot all night"
The only reason we were staying at the hotel was to sleep between our evening flight from California until our early morning flight to New York City. The heating and air in the room was stuck at one temp and it was a night of tossing and turning as if we were in the jungle with a bad fever. Other than that, it was fine. "Pre-flight stay"
Good to be able to leave the car for duration of vacation getaway. Additional charge per day for car over 7 days surprised us. Airport shuttle broken down both before & after vacation but hotel did make other arrangements. Onsite restaurant pricey. Good quality room & service. Would definitely stay here again.

Doesn't have all the necessary things you expect around a hotel, but it did the job and was only 10 minutes from the airport.

Shuttle was great and timely but therevare no signs in the airport saying where to go. We were comfortable in our room but I am not 100% sure the sheets were freshly laundered. Hotel restaurant staff were friendly but food took a long time to be served. Actually got sick from my dinner, but was fine the next morning.

The room was clean and comfortable enough. We were 3 men staying and there were two beds. Asked the front desk for an extra mattress - they never said no, but still did not provide the mattress. I needed a handy hotel near the airport for a few days on business. Keeping in mind it's not a luxury hotel in the city and if you are going into the city it's about a 30-40 minute drive but the highways are easy to navigate. This hotel served my purpose perfectly. My room at the Best Western Toronto was comfortable - except for a broken thermostat in the room. My mention of an uncomfortable stay was met with "I'm sorry, there will be no extra charges for your stay." "Best Western Plus Toronto Airport"
Room was fine for a one night stop over, though little choice of food outlets in area (industrial). Main problem was getting shuttle service from airport to hotel. The 0800 no. was not working, the direct dial difficult to understand, and when eventually shuttle booked it took over an hour to arrive. Return to airport was excellent service.

Not very close to the airport. You have to call the shuttle from the airport (they are not on a circuit like some closer hotels). Nice ipod dock in the room. Pretty standard other than that - you get what you pay for.

The refrigerator was not working efficiently. I requested that it be checked out. The maintenance man came and said he'll be back with another one and up to when I checked out he didn't return. Also the toilet didn't flush properly and his answer was for us to hold down the handle until all of the water was out of the bowl.

Everything was great with one major exception. The Shuttle Service driver should be terminated. He took me to Terminal 1, for a departure on United Airlines. He dropped me off at the very first gate clearly marked for Air Canada. I walked inside (I think it was at the "A" section. I looked for Untied. Eventually I found it at "J" section. I had 2 fairly […] heavy bags that I had to carry maybe 300 feet. I wasn't happy at all to have to walk that far. The day we stayed at the hotel the pool was closed because it was "condemned" by the Ministry of Health. The hotel offered no apologies and still wanted to charge us an extra $10 for a microwave. The best thing about the hotel is the location.

We chose the BW+ as a stop over in the Toronto area. As we are from Western Canada, and unfamiliear with the area, the description of the BW+ met our needs. It was within our budget, had a restaurant on site, was close to the airport and offered a shuttle service. Filthy dirty for all the wonderful things they lure you in with. the pool and jacuzzi, i would not let my dog climb into. the rooms were not clean, and the bar and restaurant disgusting. Please do not stay here, the neighborhood is pretty seedy as well. scary actually!

The rooms are very nice, and the staff pleasant. However, they take NO responsibility for many services that are evidently provided by independent contractors. Only some of the ice/pop machines work...."not our problem....an independent contractor.". The gift/sundry shop was never open. Management didn't know why...."not our problem....an independent […] contractor.". And so it went with several other things. if they can come to realize that travelers really don't care who owns what service, and start managing the whole place, it could be a fine motel. Read more

"close to 401"
Hotel close to the airport and the 401. Perfert for business traveler. Not close to downtown or major shopping. Fast food all up and down the street nearby with a gas station just a walk away. Bed was comfortable and staff answered all our questions with extra service when we needed it. Restaurant was good as most hotel restaurants. Negative would be […] non working soda machines. "Best Western Travel Plus Toronto Hotel"
The air conditioning was not functioning properly. Hotel did fix it promptly but it didn't work. I heard several other guests had similar complaints. In the fitness room the tread did not function. Hotel staff were courteous.

I stayed for 3 days but they didn't change the bedsheets & pillow covers. Front desk staff dealing very coid. specilly beds & comforters in bad condition.On my next trip to candada I prefer any other hotel to stay.
"Good location by the airport"
I was only in town for one day so had to be by the airport. They have a shuttle service every half hour, it does take awhile to get downtown but overall I enjoyed the hotel.
Hotel was quite a distance from the airport. It took 25 minutes by cab to the terminal..

"Very good deal for the price"
Very comfortable and clean. Nice to have pool (although cold), jacuzzi and sauna. Staff at the reception a little slow (do not understand anything) No nice restaurant close by (just a subway, the steak house close by is more a trucker stop).

"A decent enough hotel for the price"
Great access to the 401 and also close to Square One for shopping! The beds were very comfortable.The only downside was the restaurant "Savanas" which had a very limited and overpriced menu. The food lacked any seasonings, took forever to arrive and the bread we requested (we were starving!) was a dry submarine roll that had been defrosted in the microwave! […] After driving 10 hours to get here from Chicago, we did not feel like venturing out into the snow to find another place to eat so we were stuck! Read more
