Nice hotel, great service, clean comfortable room. One complaint, water temperature in the shower fluctuates hot then cold,wife wasn't happy.

Went there for an overnighter with the family and loved how this hotel was particular about hygiene. Remote controls were fresh cleaned and wrapped, rooms were very comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was above average too; the soy milk ran away real fast but the croissants, cereals, meat and juices selection was quite satisfying. We were in Vancouver speaking for a convention. The organization put us up at the Pan Pacific for 3 nights. We wanted to be closer to the airport the night before we left, so we booked this hotel because of it's location and because it has a shuttle. We checked in around 9:00pm and got in to our room. We were surprised to see two small beds and not a queen size bed room that we booked. When I called the front desk to complain, they did not respond and I had to take the trip down. The manager was no help at all. He claimed that he day shift manager had given our room away and he had no choice but […] to give us the only remaining room. He did not tell me this when we checked in. My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel after driving to Richmond from Seattle, WA. We arrived a bit after midnight, the night shift receptionist did what she was suppose to do to check us in and nothing beyond her job description, not even a smile. Ok, fine, maybe she was tried, I can give her benefit of the doubt. After we got to our room […] (dark and poorly decorated in my opinion), we quickly got ready for bed because it was extremely late. In the middle of the night, I woke up with EXTREME itching of my right leg - yep, that's right. BED BUG! The next morning, on our way to the elevator downstairs, we saw a guy spraying some kind of treatment to the outside door frame of another room. I was a little relieved because it seemed like they knew about the problem and did something about it. Unfortunately the same thing happened on the second night, not to me but my husband, he was also bitten by bed bugs. Now, on a more positive note, the hotel was located near the airport, on a busy street and pretty easy to spot. I also enjoyed its close proximity to Aberdeen center. The breakfast was excellent, offered both cold and hot items and Seattle's Best coffee. I was surprised at how horrible my experience turned out to be, especially when I researched the hotel on TripAdvisor before we booked it. Very cold and unfriendly front office staff. Very bad first impression and that spoilt our stay at the hotel dispite the very good rooms provided.

The hotel was under renovation. However the rooms were clean and well furnished. The beds were very comfortable. Staff veryfreindly and helpful. The free breakfast was of good quality. Flights overhead was a bit noisy at night. Overall good experience. Good value for the money.

2nd time in 1 month have stayed here. Like the hotel and staff. However, this time I had a room (301) with a non-functioning air conditioner. Would stay there again whenever I am in town for conferences and/or classes.

Clean rooms with internet access that actually worked. Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. Corridors need new carpet. Six miles from airport and hotel provides shuttle. Directly in flight path of airport but we didn't notice a lot of airplane noise. Street noise was rather loud in early A.M. but not objectionable. We stayed in 4 different hotels during our trip, and even though this wasn't the most "fancy", it sure had all the right amenities - free local calls, free wi-fi, free parking (all of which we paid for at the resorts we stayed at during our trip). Last year, we had a better room in the same hotel chain with pool at a comparable price in the same Richmond/Airport location. Overall, the room is clean and worth the price we paid in this peak vacation time. I love their linen, soft beddings and thick white towels. This was a surprise to us. We stayed 2 nights here and saw some of the reviews which said that the hotel was old. It may have an older look but so what? We had a great stay, we got all the amenities needed, and the location was great. It was right across from Costco and wasy access to the highway to Vancouver and south to the border. The bed was so comfortable and better than two other hotels I stayed at during the week. Breakfast was standard and had the basic which were great for a quick meal. Room was clean - even the remote!

Got into room to dirty socks on the floor. Baseboards and shelves in hotel are dirty. Really, really disappointed with the restaurant. Seems like the "chef" must be bored with his job. Would not stay again and yet spend a lot of money on hotels in Vancouver. Will be looking for another one to stay at.

If you want a good, clean value for money hotel near to the airport then this hotel is excellent. Breakfast is perfectly adequate considering it was included in the price. There's a shuttle bus every half hour from the airport and there's a sky train about 5 mins walk away which takes you straight into the centre of Vancouver. The room was clean, and really comfortable beds. The showers are owesome the only draw back was the hotel did not have a bath tub for my doughter to bath in. She had done her hair she thats the only complain. Otherwise breakfast was really good

Excellent value, friendly staff, good proximity to Vancouver airport. Room was clean, beds very comfortable and all in all good place to stay after a long flight before moving on.

Ww were very unhappy because the band played until one in the morning. We were very tierd from a long flight and were unable to sleep because of the noise from the band so late.

We recently travelled to the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Abercorn the night before we flew out and the night we returned. The beds are like sleeping on a clould. The breakfast (included) is abundant with everything from fresh fruit salad to Belgian waffles, eggs, sausage, juice, cereal, hashbrowns, toast, tea, coffee and all the fixings. As […] we flew into YVR at 3:30 a.m. we had to take a cab to the hotel (no shuttle for a couple of hours in the middle of the night). They even reimbursed us our cab fare. We stayed here for a quick stop before our flight from YVR. The room was quiet and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shuttle service was efficient - both ways. Our vehicle was safe and undamaged on our return. Close to the airport - would stay there again for an overnight airport strip.

Great that it allowed us to park and fly. Customer service was very good. We inquired about a lost jacket and the staff called at home with the information. The complimentary breakfast had a variety that should please all guests.

We always stay at the Abercorn Inn when travelling through Vancouver. Comfortable rooms, great pub on site, complimentary breakfast and airport transfers. Bottom line... very good value!

Had good dinner in hotel restaurant

After 20 hours of travelling, we needed a comfortable place to rest before we started the last leg of our trip home. The room and bed were so inviting and comfortable.. We had a wonderful long nap, had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant and had a long, uninterrupted sleep till next morning. We had a nice stay ,staff was very freindly and helpful. We had dinner in the dining room price was reasonable and food was great.

I was concerned when I read other not so good reports oon this hotel, however it was in the best location for our needs. We did not hear the airplanes over head at all, The air conditioning system took a bit to get used to but it did the job. A second chair in the room would have been great. When I booked my room I paid by credit card and was told that it was non-refundable. Once I arrived to check in was told I needed to give a $100. cash room deposit. I don't think so. No one said anything about a cash deposit there. The family in front of me had to take 100 out of the atm to pay theirs. I refused. You simply do not do that to a customer […] when they arrive. The hotel is located near the airport of Vancouver and is therefore a good choice for arrival at or departures from Vancouver. The breakfast was great, the best we had during our journey in British Colombia and California.

My rooms were not properly organized hotel had no elevator so hard for old family member. All in all service provided was poor and pool was closed so cannot use it. I won't recommended it all

A comfortable quiet place with restaurant and cozy pub, perfect for layover, close to Van airport, with shuttle every half hour. Noisy bathroom fan and hair dryer that needed replacing..a few upgrades needed, but generally was refurbished and bed very comfortable. Would stay there again.

I recommend this place highly to travellers arriving at the Vancouver Airport. It has a shuttle bus service to and from the airport which is very convienient. The rooms are very nice,the rates very reasonable and the staff very friendly.
