BEST WESTERN PLUS VALLEY VIEW - Roanoke

I was so surprised as to how nice everything was, including the very helpful staff. Everything was really wonderful and I will be returning to this hotel when I come to Roanoke, Virginia again.

After having been on the road for a week, our stay at the Best Western Plus in Roanoke was such a welcome change from the other hotels we stayed in. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming - especially at the breakfast service. Highest recommendation!

We were on our way to GA and this was our half-way point. Very nice overall for one night. Breakfast area small and confined, thus crowded with no real "flow", so folks were running into each other. I stayed one night and I will never stay at a best western again. When I first arrived I used the bathroom, and noted there was excrement smeared across the side of the toliet tank, below the lever. I left the bathroom and called the front desk. I couldn't help note the desk top was disgusting with smeared food across the top of the desk. Yes they provided […] me with a new room, which at least lacked the flaws of the first, but really was run down.The manager of the room cleaning insisted that her best gal had cleaned that room and I was a liar. The motel manager was not available. I left a message for the manager, but I have not received a call back. My next call is the BW directly. Sleep in your car, sleep in a ditch, anything would be better than this hotel. Read more

can't beat the price; room was adequate but really smelled of "air freshener" -- we left window open. A bit difficult to find and the space to eat breakfast was a joke it was so small. Staff was very friendly.

EFFICIENT AND PLEASANT STAFF. CLEAN, WELL MAINTAINED ROOMS. ITS LOCATION BETWEEN A LARGE MALL AND THE I-581 INTERCHANGE MAKE IT A LITTLE TRICKY TO FIND, BUT IT CAN'T BE BEAT FOR PROXIMITY TO STORES. THE BREAKFAST ROOM IS CRAMPED AND CONFUSING, BUT AGAIN, THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL IN HELPING US LOCATE ITEMS.

The hotel was nice, nothing special. Beds were comfortable. The AC in our first room was awful loud so we requested another room. Still loud but not as bad, but aren't they all? Overall the room was worth the money paid.

This is a notch above your standard Best Western, so I guess that's why it's called a Best Western Plus. Staff was friendly, but didn't go out of their way. Facilities were nice, but not opulent. There was an indoor pool, but it was right next to the lobby so it was a bit awkward to be in there with people watching from the lobby the whole time. The […] room was well appointed. Breakfast was good but the breakfast area is small so I would just grab a piece of fruit and go on my way each morning. There was some good looking hot food there if you had the inclination to stay. Very close to the mall. Odd one-way roads in and out of the immediate area make it a bit awkward to figure out the lay of the land at first. Front desk staff didn't seem to understand my hotels.com reservation but it all worked out eventually. Read more

Easy check in and check out. Good breakfast. Only reason cleanliness was rated 4 is because there were a few small pieces of trash left behind trashcan on bathroom floor. Not really worth mentioning because everything else was very clean and comfortable. We stayed here in order to attend Virginia Tech graduation in Blacksburg.

Prima hotel, in de buurt van restaurants en een winkelcentrum.Inchecken ging snel en de dame achter de balie was zeer vriendelijk. Kamer netjes en schoon, goede bedden. Toen we aangaven dat het babybedje niet op de kamer was werd hij binnen 5 minuten bezorgt. Zwembad was ook prima. Ontbijt was ook goed.
