My room was dirty from furniture surfaces to floors and bed....bathroom as well, phone was filthy. I was told by front desk to lock my terrace door? why burglaries? I had to breathe not cleaned air filtered air conditioning. I could not open terrace door for light in the morning, and difficult for the assistant of the hotel. No internet service. The hotel is rather clean and well located, staff is pretty friendly and the inclusive breakfast is nice. The showers dont have curtains so the restroom becomes a mess and there seems to be a little bit of a salty taste to the water when you are showering. Overall its a good hotel if you arent looking for all the fancy ammenities of a resort.

This is a nice, pleasant hotel. The girl at the lobby was quite friendly when we walked in, and the hotel itself is in good condition. The bathroom was really clean and the room was clean too, with a really nice terrace. The buildings are really cute, whitewashed with dashes of colors and bright wildflowers around. The pool was nice but we didn't use […] it, since the beach was literally a 1 minute walk from the hotel. The beach, Ornos, is really nice and calm though the water is cold, even when it's hot out. Mykonos town is not so close to walk to, but we didn't have any problems since a taxi there would cost us around 5 euro. There is a bus stop at the beach but we waited for two hours and it never came, so don't rely too much on it. There are super nice restaurants on the beach though, so at night you can definitely visit one of them. I definitely recommend Kuzina, and maybe reserve beforehand so you can get a table on the sand and really close to the water. The atmosphere there was great, super sophisticated. Also Ithaki is really interesting since it serves mexican, thai, italian and other cuisine! Breakfast was included and it was a standard, continental breakfast...the breakfast lady was really nice! We had a good stay at this hotel. I agree with one of the reviews below that the tap water was salty, but surely it's salty everywhere on the island and it's really not a problem at all. I traveled to Mykonos for a special vacation with my sister. Our goal was to relax and enjoy the Greek beaches, people, and food. The Dionysos was perfect for this! Situated in a quieter part of Mykonos, this is the perfect place to go to relax on the beaches and enjoy some of the great Greek restaurants on the island. Ornos Beach was a 1-minute walk […] from the hotel, along with several excellent restaurants right on the beach. With beach chairs and service, it made for perfectly relaxing days in the sun. There are also boats from this beach that will take you to beaches all over the island for a small fee. Also, Ornos is located 2 kilometers from the main port on Mykonos, an easy walk to the shopping and restaurants there. In addition to the great location, we fell in love with the hotel manager, Nikos. We had questions for him every day that he was always happy to answer, he was very friendly, and very helpful. His staff was always responsive and friendly. Nikos set up an excursion for us to the island of Delos where we had an excellent tour guide to lead us through the ancient city. The amenities at the hotel were also great--they have a nice workout room at the back of the hotel, their pool is wonderful, and the wireless internet was included in our room fee. A delicious breakfast was served poolside every morning with eggs, sausage, bruschetta, breads, pastries, yogurt, honey, olives, coffees, etc. If I return to Mykonos, I'm definitely staying at the Dionysos. We did enjoy our stay at the hotel even though we booked in at the end of this season, when it was almost empty. The owner was very chatty and pleasant. The only disappointing thing was even after reporting the sink plug would not work, so no water could not be kept in the basin, it was still not repaired after 14 days !! Turned up at 2am due to earlier ferry, smooth check-in. Upgraded to premium renovated room with balcony out to the pool. Large room, clean facilities, helpful and professional owners/staff. Her er det stor forskjell i fra bildene som presenteres og virkeligheten. Beliggenheten er sentral, men rommet vi ble tildelt var i svært dårlig forfatning. La posizione di quest'hotel è strategica, vicino sia al centro che alle spiaggie. La colazione è discreta, le camere sono pulite ma poco insonorizzate. I letti matrimoniali in realtà sono separati. Tutto sommato è alla pari di un tre stelle in italia, ma rispetto ad altri hotel di mykonos è molto buono.

Wäre dieses Hotel mit drei Sternen und wahrheitsgemäß beschrieben, so könnte ich dieses Hotel schon weiterempfehlen. Unser Zimmer, in das ein zusatzbett gepfercht wurde, war äußerst spartanisch eingerichtet - im Gegensatz zu den Bildern im internet. Auf einem alten Kühlschrank stand ein alter Röhrenfernseher zu dem ein aus der Wand hängendes Kabel führte. […] Aber der TV Apparat war nicht funktionstüchtig. Das Badezimmer war auf den ersten Blick nett, allerdings war die Dusche verrostet und nicht einzustellen, somit stand jedesmal das Bad unter Wasser. Die Zimmer wurden erst zwischen 16.00 und 17.00 Uhr gereinigt, wobei wir aber dem Mist selbst entsorgen mussten, da nach dem zweiten Tag der Papierkorb überquoll. Der versprochene Sandstrand, angeblich hoteleigen, war nur über eine Strasse, vorbei an Tavernen und zwischen Mopeds und Autos zu erreichen und für die Allgemeinheit bestimmt. Man musste 12.- EUR zahlen, wenn man sich dort niederlassen wollte. Das hoteleigene Pool war am ersten Tag noch nicht gesäubert, wurde aber in der ersten Nacht mit Chlor versetzt. Dies konnten wir beobachten: ein angestellter mit gesichtsmaske streute nach belieben und Gefühl die Chemikalien ins Wasser, ohne Proben zu nehmen. Wir sassen ohne gesichtsmaske daneben... Das Frühstück war zwar ok, aber eher lieblos und bescheiden, also nicht einem 4 Stern Hotel angemessen. Letztlich zahlten wir die Hälfte mehr als in einem Top Hotel in Naxos . L'Hotel Dionysos a Ornos - Mykonos è da Expedia catalogato 4 Stelle, ma nella realtà deve essere catalogato al massimo un 2 Stelle. Le camere standard hanno i letti separati e non dispongono di letti matrimoniali. I letti hanno i materassi molto duri e sono scomodi. La prima colazione / Breakfast è penosa , non funzionava la macchina per fare i caffè […] / capuccini, il cibo era scadente ( sia i salumi, i formaggi , che le uova strapazzate ) non c'era frutta disponibile . praticamente abbiamo fatto tutte le 8 prime colazioni solo a base di yogourt greco con marmellata e bevendo te. Le camere non sono insonorizzate per cui si sentono tutti i rumori possibili delle camere adiacenti. Inoltre questo cosidetto Hotel 4 Stelle fa il servizio di trasporto da e per l'aereoporto di Mykonos solo a pagamento , cioè 10 Euro a persona per tragitto. Tutto questo è assurdo considerando che l'hotel dista dall'aereoporto di Mykonos solo 3 Km. e che utilizzando il taxi si spende al massimo 5 Euro. Inoltre dulcis in fundo, l'Hoptel Dionysos a Ornos , non è sul mare e non dispone i vista mare diretta , ma solo di vista mare molto lontano e quindi anche questa è una pubblicità ingannevole dato che sul vostro catalogo vengono proposte camere con vista mare. Fin beliggenhet nær stranda, fint basseng, god frokost, hyggelig betjening, rolig område. Rommet lå i et eget bygg noen meter borte fra selve hovedbygget og det var nokså lytt i veggene. Vi måtte betale noen euro ekstra pr. natt for vår sønn, dette var litt uventet men ok, da vi ble oppmerksom på dette i prospektet for hotellet. Transport til og fra […] hotellet er ikke inkludert.
