We looked for a hotel that was in the Benicia area and were satisfied with the location. My only complaint with this hotel was the service that we received when we checked in. I think the woman who checked us in had to be new. She took too long in checking us in and then forgot to give me my credit card back. Then when I returned home, I realized that she had charged my credit card when I had already paid for the room in advance thru hotels.com. I called the manager at the hotel and was treated very well and she credited my card.

I stopped by Benicia overnight on my way from Sacramento to San Francisco, to break up the drive, just needed a place to sleep, not too fancy/expensive. Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable, included continental breakfast was standard fare. My only negative was that the hallways smelled a bit, like a stale smoking room (I'm not a smoker so I notice smells a lot). Once I got into my room however, I wasn't bothered by it, so it's not really a big deal, just a small but somewhat smelly issue.

As this was the only hotel in town I was a little concerned about the quality but I have to say I was very impressed. The hotel staff were very friendly. The room was not only clean and attractive but very comfortable. The only issue I ran into was the tv remote, my fault for not reading the instructions posted. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I like how the free continental breakfast starts early at 5:30am and how during the middle of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), the hotel serves free dinner. Having a microwave and a refrigerater in the room is also nice. I wish they had pay-per-view movies and a fitness center, that would have made it perfect.

A little off the beaten path, but if Benicia is where you want to be, this is a great place to stay. Clean and comfortable. Did I say CLEAN. Loved the staff and the free meals. I saved a lot of money on food. I can't wait to visit again. The free internet access was cool also, not to mention the refridgerator and microwave.

This place needs a complete make-over. The carpeting, the walls, the bedspreads, the upholstery on the furniture - everything was done in muddy, depressing earth tones. The place just felt tired. The housekeeping staff wasn't very good either. They didn't clean my room one day and the next day left me with one damp bath towel. On the upside, the pillows were great (a pet peeve of mine) and the towels were very nice. The continental breakfast was good too. It was a relatively inexpensive place to stay - and looked it.

My family and I really enjoyed out over night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, not fancy but good. There was a microwave and refriderater provided, and a coffee maker with creamer etc. provided also. The continental breakfast was wonderful! And the front desk employees were very pleasant and helpful.
