"Newly renovated hotel, beautiful room, great bed!"

Hotel is nicely recently renovated. Good size (comfort) room, nice bathroom, big tv, very comfy bed! Breakfast was very good. All you want for breakfast is there. All staff is very friendly and helpfull. Parking is close to the hotel and at a good price. Hotel is in a good location, near Train-and busstation and close to the shopping area. Best location in Arhus, in my opinion. We love to come back soon!
"Very Pleasant Stay"
Really nice, recently updated hotel around the corner from the main outdoor walking area was great. Typical small European boutique hotel with very clean rooms. Room sizes very greatly so ask when checking in. Didn't take advantage of included breakfast.
"Cosy and minimalistic"

This is a nice and pleasant hotel with great customer service. I could check in earlier so this was a very kind of them. The overall appearance is good and the room looked very modern. There was a TV, small and comfortable bed, a table and a bathroom with glass doors. All you need for a one night as a solo traveller. The location is perfect, just 5 min walk from the main shopping area and 2 min walk to the train station. Moreover, the breakfast buffet had a lot of choice. Even for me, as a vegan, there was a lot of different fruit, juices and coffee. The price is a bit high, considering this is a three star hotel but I was happy with the quality.
"all rooms now nicely renovated"

We stayed here for one night on this trip to Aarhus and were pleased to see that because the Hotel Ritz is now one of the hotels in Small Danish Hotels all of the rooms have been attractively renovated to reflect Danish design. We particularly liked the modern design of the bathroom. The people working here were pleasant and efficient. The hotel is now much more attractive inside than one might think from the outside. A full breakfast buffet is included - we had ours in a booth in the wine cellar. Although the hotel is on a busy street next to the train station the new windows kept the room completely quiet. From one of our the fifth floor windows we could see the Arne Jacobsen town hall, the park next to it, and part of the rainbow panorama on the Aros Museum.
"Newly renovated "boutique" hotel in the very centre of Aarhus"

I have always wondered what a "boutique" hotel was, and I am still not sure that I know, even though the newly and totally renovated Ritz Hotel claims to be one. Some minor renovation work was still in progress, but I was not bothered by any noise. The sleep quality was bad though, due to a far too soft and unstable bed, and poor ventilation. (If I had kept the windows open, there would surely have been some traffic noise). The cleanliness was impeccable, no wonder as everything was brand new. But it felt weird to have no door between the bathroom and the room, with damp and stuffy air as a result. Bad idea! The staff at the front desk were very friendly, as you expect in Denmark. The breakfast was okay, with the exception that some cold meat was clearly "off" the second morning, and the boiled eggs were fridge cold. However, the location is the biggest asset for this hotel, in the very centre of Aarhus, close to the railway station. If you come by car and you are lucky, you might find free overnight parking on the street, otherwise there are plenty of parking halls in the city centre, but they are not cheap. The hotel now takes part in the "Benefits" frequent guest scheme (Small Danish Hotels).
"Great location but could be improved"

This hotel is very conveniently situated for the railway station and not far from the city centre. Public areas are smart and the breakfast buffet included in the price was good. The hotel has a few parking spaces in a car park some 200 metres away and overnight charges for this are reasonable. Reception staff were exceptionally helpful whenever we needed information. On the downside, only a small part of the hotel has been refurbished and the lifts and stairways were grubby with decorators' materials. The bedroom itself was fairly small and very minimalist to the point of being bare - nothing on the walls at all and it would have been nice to have had a mirror in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. We stayed for 4 nights but the cleaning staff did not replace the shower gel despite the fact that this was empty after the first night. When checking out I was charged 4400 DKK rather than the 4230 quoted on my original booking but didn't realise the discrepancy at the time - a small one, and probably not worth pursuing, but it annoyed me.

Super lækre værelser og kvalitet over hele linien. Maden var også superb ...- alt i alt en oplevelse og intet at sætte en finger på.
"varme dager i Århus"
