The staff did a good job. The general condition of the hotel was clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my experience in this hotel. I was pleased with the comfort and the clean condition of my room. The location could not be better with it right next to the freeway.

I've stopped here on my way t the LAX airport. The hotel is nice, clean but very noisy. It has the train road near, and the room I was staying, it shakes every train passing. The other side of the hotel in next to the freeway. breakfast is included

Your standard Best Western. Great overnight stop for us on our trip to Vegas. This was our second time staying here and have no complaints. Price was right for our overnight stop and we will stay here again. Breakfast was great and the room has basically everything you can expect of a Best Western.

My stay was very enjoyable. I was just there one night as a pit-stop in my journey, but I was very comfortable. There are a variety of restaurants nearby, the room was cool when I arrived--as it was 100 degrees outside. It was easy to connect to the internet, and the breakfast selection in the morning was quite nice. Water and water heater goes out New Years day. Not good. I went to the front desk after taking a cold shower and was told sorry. Just wait. They gave me a free night for the next visit. but would i stay there again. No. Could be a nice place, breakfast was good. But taking a cold shower and then turning off the water on New Years day. Not to good.

This Best Western motel had such a clean room for our one night stay--there were even cute little towel elephants decorating the beds! There was a little noise from the freeway and train but it didn't bother us.

I booked a room with 2 Queen beds because there were 3 of us travelling and planned to stop here on the way back to SF from the Grand Canyon. Their policy is they charge your card when you book the room and charge a penalty if you cancel, which I can understand since it's a remote location. However, if you're going to do that, then I expect to get the […] room I paid for. We arrived only to find out the rooms with 2 queens have been overbooked. The desk person then says we're in luck b/c we can get "upgraded" to a room with 1 King bed, sleeper sofa, and a jacuzzi. Well, the reason I'm staying at your hotel is I need a good night sleep for a long drive the next morning and if you've ever slept on a sleeper sofa, you know how uncomfortable they are. Plus, the Jacuzzi is worthless to me! To make things worse, the room smelled like smoke. I hope someone reads this and decides on another hotel to discourage the practice of overbooking. Read more

We had 6 rooms at Best Western Barstow & at least 3 were full of flys. I was up at 2am swatting the 10 or so flys in my room. Not a good nights sleep. Also, quite expensive for a freeway exit dumpy hotel. I don't recommend.

The stay was enjoyable; the staff made the towels into the shape of animals which lifted my spirits, but it is near a highway so there is some noise. Within the same parking lot is a mobile home park but the residents weren't loud or obnoxious.

My room smelled strongly of cleaning disinfectant. The pool was closed due to maintenance problems. At 9:30 at night, I had to call the front office because people were drinking alcohol and having loud conversations in the parking lot. All in all, not a comfortable stay.

The motel is very difficult to get to, due to the location from the freeway. The first room we were in had mice on the bed, and all over in the room. The pool was unavailable. The room they moved us to was tolerable. This was just a one nighter on our way to AZ. Good location for a late start first night of driving. The room was over 100 degrees when we got in at 10:00 pm, and it took all night for the AC to cool it down enough to be comfortable. In the morning I realized the front door had about an inch of open space on the bottom. On the day we arrived in Barstow there was a blinding alcali / sand storm. It was extremely windy. When we inspected the Best Western Desert Villa Inn we found that the room was almost on the highway. The pool water was much too cold to go swimming. I am very disappointed they advertize a Jacuzzi (hot tub) room on their pictures looks like the Jacuzzi is located on the room on a open space but once you get there the so call Jacuzzi is more like a shower tub only a little bigger than the regular tub and only one person feats in the Jacuzzi and is inside the bathroom which by the way is way to small […] so I wouldn’t recommend to pay extra money for the Jacuzzi room. We were travelling east with our dog, and stopped in Flagstaff. Nice convenient place near restaurants. It snowed overnight, so we had to creep back on the interstate in the morning, after a good breakfast at the hotel.
