I was so pleasantly welcomed by the staff at check-in. The room was beautifully decorated and had all the ammenities to make for a lovely stay. Breakfast was delicious and the sun room where it is located was just splendid. Overall the experience was terrific and the price was quite a bargain for what was expected.

The management is very professional and welcoming. The rooms supply all your needs, fridge, aircon, microwave, plasma t.v. Updated bathroom. Could use better lighting in bathroom for mirror. Pool kept nice and clean. My room was on the ground floor near the office and the maintenance closet so it was a little noisy but overall it is quiet. Is a short walk to the boardwalk. We never used our car. This was the second time we were there. It's like a Hyundai. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Enjoyed the stay. Only having stayed at many Courtyard facilities, I was a little disappointed not to find a frig, micro etc, in the room. Bathroom sink area a bit smaller than most. Other wise a nice stay.

I only stayed one night and it was a very pleasant stay. I asked for a quiet room and that is what I received. The bed was a bit firm, but comfortable, and I did sleep well. The bed was huge! They listed it as a king size, but I think it was a SUPER DUPPER KING! I could have got lost in that bed and never been found again!!! lol The only problem I […] had was with access, because I have a bad right leg, but i knew this before I registered. I wanted to be on the 2nd floor (nobody above me) and thai being a smaller type motel they do not have an elevator so I had to climb some stairs to get to my room. But, I expected this so it was no surprise to me. Overall, I was more than satisfied with my one night stay. The room was clean and quite large and it was very quiet. Read more
"BW Scotts Valley - comfortable"
A nice room, very clean and pleasant helpful staff. It's close to the highway exit but about 15 or 20 minutes out of Santa Cruz. If your interest is the mountains or you want to rest away from the hustle & bustle in town this is good. Be prepared to drive to do things.

Hotel rooms are spacious and well maintained, Complimentary breakfast had plenty for everyone, and just about everything you could want including a make your own waffle section. Only 2 critiques: 1) The matresses are overly firm, even TOO stiff for a back sleeper! My husband and I both woke early due to aching backs- not good for pregnant women or anyone […] with a bad back especially when you're going hiking the next morning. 2) In regards to breakfast could have been better with a wider selection of fruits (apples and little oranges don't really cut it for vegan guests) Read more
