I go to El Centro two or three times a year and won't stay anywhere else. Located on the south side of the freeway, you don't have to worry as much about... your car being there in the morning. There's an IHOP and an In and Out in the parking lot. Be forewarned, this is one of the top locations for visiting military and it's often completely booked. Another big thing to be careful about, there is also a John Jay Inn in *Calexico*, so make sure you're booking El Centro before you click submit. The rooms are nice, and there's a serviceable breakfast in the morning, nothing special, but it's free. I normally stay in the rooms that face the rear of the complex which are much quieter, but this last time had a window overlooking the parking lot. IHOP gets their deliveries at 6am, so keep that in mind. Overall, a great place to stay, maybe on the pricey side for what you get, but the peace of mind and convenience are worth it. by a Hotels.com guest on 02/25/13

The rooms were big for the hotel. We each had a king size bed which was comfortable. One room had an air conditioner that was too strong. My room had an air conditioner that did not work. the hotel is conveniently located next to the freeway, and was clean. had a nice continental breakfast, and the staff was very friendly. we had our 1-year-old daughter with us, and it was great.

We really wanted to use the jacuzzi after our long ride, but the managers didn't even know it was out of order until we tried to use it. Anyway, the repair required parts. Of course since it was a holiday, no parts, no jacuzzi! Everything else was great!

This is a comfortable stay for the money. We used the pool even though it was cool water. We had absolutely no noise to disturb us and we would definitely stay again!
