"Best Western El Centro"
It went as expected.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
When I check in their was a lady worker that her quality of service was not good. may be it was the weather 103. but everything else was great . pool was clean & fresh, rooms were really nice & clean .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms were big for the hotel. We each had a king size bed which was comfortable. One room had an air conditioner that was too strong. My room had an air conditioner that did not work. The hotel elevator was broken for 24 hours. We only stayed one night at the hotel. Continental breakfast was good. Location to freeway and main streets are good. Was […] in El Centro for business. "One of the best options in El Centro"
I go to El Centro two or three times a year and won't stay anywhere else. Located on the south side of the freeway, you don't have to worry as much about your car being there in the morning. There's an IHOP and an In and Out in the parking lot. Be forewarned, this is one of the top locations for visiting military and it's often completely booked. Another […] big thing to be careful about, there is also a John Jay Inn in *Calexico*, so make sure you're booking El Centro before you click submit. The rooms are nice, and there's a serviceable breakfast in the morning, nothing special, but it's free. I normally stay in the rooms that face the rear of the complex which are much quieter, but this last time had a window overlooking the parking lot. IHOP gets their deliveries at 6am, so keep that in mind. Overall, a great place to stay, maybe on the pricey side for what you get, but the peace of mind and convenience are worth it. We have stayed here numerous times and it is always a comfortable, quiet stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"jacuzzi not working"
We really wanted to use the jacuzzi after our long ride, but the managers didn't even know it was out of order until we tried to use it. Anyway, the repair required parts. Of course since it was a holiday, no parts, no jacuzzi! Everything else was great!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient & Clean"

Had to stay in El Centro for a night while on a road trip to visit family out of state. This hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway and has a sparkling swimming pool to escape the heat. Although limited, their breakfast buffet is good and they even offer freshly made waffles. Our room was very clean, comfy and cool. It included a small fridge and a microwave. The staff were friendly and the nightly rate was competitve. As an added bonus it's walking distance from In n Out Burgers.

Overall, the hotel was fine. They apparently decided to cut back on providing an early breakfast for the hunters, which was disappointing. This was probably the hotels biggest day of the year and providing breakfast at 4:30am instead of 6am meant that probably 90 percent of the hotel guests were gone and it saved them some money. I realize that we are now expected to pay more and get less for just about everything we consume, but this cutback might not have been a wise decision.
"Dove Hunters Welcome"

The only reason for being in El Centro was to go dove hunting . This hotel welcomes dove hunters and provides an area for dove cleaning. The room clean and comfortable. Right next door is House of Pancakes and Panda Express and other fast food places nearby. The air conditioner worked well with outside temps over 110 degrees. Will stay here again if I visit El Centro again.

The John Jay Inn in El Centro is a nice, comfortable place to stay. The Hotel Staff do everything they can to make you feel welcome. The Front Desk, housekeeping staff do all possible to make you feel at home in their hotel.
"Not good... Don't stay here! Bad customer service..."
07/27/14 caprililac Phoenix, Arizona
Family of 4 stayed here one night on our way to the baja to visit some friends during spring break. It was bad from the start. Very dirty, hidden charges, broken AC, no shampoo or soap, the list goes on. I wasn't expecting much, but the attitude of the staff was extremely rude and in the end when I kindly went over several issues we experienced over our 1 night stay, the manager told me my opinion doesn't matter because we are rated number one on TA. The promised continental breakfast wasn't available as advertised and he told us to just go across the street to IHOP. Being a business owner myself I was appalled at the response to customer feedback. I understand thongs happen. If they would have listened to my feedback my review would have been better but everything reflects management attitude.

there are not many choices in el Centro. This property is very clean with very friendly staff and good beds. So why the 3 star? I stayed for a few weeks in a 2 room suite while working in El Centro. The rooms were large but the furniture was barely acceptable for the nightly fee. there is no excuse for the Spartan old furniture in room 212

I have stayed at this hotel at least once a month for the past year or so. The rooms are always clean and nicely furnished and it is centrally located for all of my needs. The staff are great!!! They are always friendly and go out of their way if I need something such as an early check-in. I will continue staying at this Best Western as long as I need to travel to the area.
"Two Day Stay"

I would ask the John Jay Inn if they serve a hot breakfast on Sundays. They did not on our recent stay there. Very disappointed that they did not. the room was nice but not getting a hot breakfast was not good. On Saturday they had potatoes, bacon and eggs O'Brian. Sunday no hot breakfast was served.
"Great place to stay"

Couldn't ask for more...new, nice, and clean! Traveling through the area on the way from California to Phoenix AZ and found this little gem of a place. We always look for Best Western on our trips, anyway, and this was one we would like to come back to!
