Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent value. An enjoyable stay all round.

The free breakfast was good. The hotel itself was nice, but nothing special. Parking seemed very expensive.
Location.
Conveniently near the airport in Toronto, Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport is close to Toronto Congress Centre, The International Centre, and Woodbine Racetrack. Also nearby are Fantasy Fair and Woodbine Centre.
Hotel Features.
Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport has an indoor pool, a sauna, and a fitness facility. Business amenities at this 3.5-star property include a business center, a meeting/conference room, and limo/town car service. "Met Minimum standards but won't reccomend it."
Had to pay extra charges once I got there that night that they didn't mention online. Carpet was not very nice. Breakfast was expensive ($15) and not worth it. Had to pay for parking - also not mentioned online
"Great price and great bar with live music"
Enjoyed my stay, the room was nice and the staff was amazing. The fitness room was great and I really enjoyed the bar/lounge downstairs. There are restaurants with in walking distance, I would stay here again

This hotel seems like it used to be very nice but you can tell that it shows age. Everyone was very nice and helpful the entire time, but our room had a few issues. "Small room"
It is near the airport and it is just average. The halls are narrow and tome it seemed a little oppresive. The room was also pretty small.... but I guess it was okay.

"OK to stay"
We booked this hotel late and I believe it was a little expensive. The restroom definitely needed upgrade. Beds were comfortable and bed sheet clean. Upon checking in, we went to our room - and it had not yet been serviced since the last guest had left. We informed the front desk, and they told us that they were out of rooms with a king sized bed, but that they had some with a queen sized bed available. Begrudgingly, we accepted this alternative. During our second day at the hotel, our key cards […] mysteriously became inactive, and would not open our room door. From a customer service standpoint - we were underwhelmed. However, the location of the hotel was good for what we were staying for, and the room was about as comfortable as we could expect. "honest staff at this hotel"
I love staying at the Crowne Plaza, I have stayed here many times and the last time clinched it for us. We will never stay anywhere else. We returned to the hotel from the airport via shuttle bus in order to pick up our car in the stay and park deal. I took out my change purse to find a tip for the shuttle driver. After returning home I realized I had […] lost my small change purse along the way. It had American money and all my credit cards and drivers license, health card etc. I called on the very remote chance someone had found it. Sure enough it was there, all intact. A shuttle driver had found it and turned it in. The hotel couriered it to my home the next day I got it. I cannot say enough for this driver and the hotel I am sure many people handled the purse and passed it on to the hotel manager. I cannot thank them enough for their honesty. Not only is this a great place to stay but I am sure they are the most honest hotel anywhere. Read more
"Sweet business center"
They had free Internet access in the business center, which is unusual for a nice hotel. The bar was also pleasant. If you have to stay near the airport this is an excellent choice.
"Nice place to spend the night near the airport"
We arrived late and spent the night before a very early morning flight. Everything was as you would expect for a hotel of this caliber, but we did not use any of the extra amenities (other than the free shuttle). I would definitely stay here again.

A 5 start hotel that does not provide complimentary bottle of water. Not just that a hotel that even ran out of water, when we tried to order through room service. For me thats not a 5 start hotel. Sorry!
"Close to Airport but over 20 min drive to sights"
Nice clean hotel but the room was very small and the bed I had was extremely hard. The headboard looked like it was from the 1970's and it smelt bad! I was surprised because of the money I paid for the room. Pop is expensive, two dollars for a CAN from a vending machine! "Horrible Hotel"
I could hear every plane passing by as if I were strapped under neath it. The pool was cold, and much smaller than it appears in the picture. The hot tub was not even close to an appropriate temperature. The rooms were quite small (I had to pay for a cot that I could barely unfold. Although I only stayed for one day and one night, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Very clean and nice room with all the necessities in place. The only thing that was at fault a bit was that the picture of the plasma TV was not crystal-clear, but still watchable. Other than that, felt very comfortable and like a princess at the Crown Plaza!
"Great but no hospitality"
Toronto is a great place to visit, our stay was over the holiday weekend and we were assited by the nice bellhop to our room. When we arrived we noticed the room safe was not working. I called the front desk and they indicated that maintenance would be there to fix it. It was never fixed. Along with that we had a non-smoking room and our tells smelled […] as if they were in the nightclub. My wife was very upset. Glad to see they are going green to a point. Parking is $12.00 a day. It was not indicated in the profile only that parking is available,but it did not have an asterisk as an additional pay item. Would we stay there again, most likely not...we will try another hotel. Almost forgot, A car was broken into in the front parking area, but there are no security cameras or security personnel...and we were near the airport. Read more

I stayed at this Hotel for a weekend. Check in was very quick. I requested for directions to a couple places that I wanted to visit. Reception staff was very helpful. She did print out the directions for me and also handed Hotel's business card with phone number, in case I got lost and needed directions. Parking is available in plenty. Since hotel charges […] $12 per night to park your car, it would have been nice if parking was covered (especially for winter months). Another small drawback is that planes go right over your head, to land at Toronto airport. Although sound insulation is excellent, I did notice some sound for a couple of planes (Could be the big 747s) in the night. But overall I was very happy with the hotel. Read more

Had to pay $28 to park overnight, back to Holiday Inn Express for me!
It was ok, except that the "common door" between my and the next suite did not afford good sound insulation against the constant barking cough of the person in the next room. A restless night of sleep, as a result.

I was a little nervous. i read some good reviews and I read some terrible reviews but it was actually really nice, clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again. the price is excellent for a really nice place!
I always register at this hotel when I travel by air.For years I enjoyed that fact that this hotel is convienient to Pearson International and that the shuttle is always available. Everything was great (hotel, location), the only part that I did not like was that it was the smallest room I have ever stayed in, both pleasure and business. That is the reason I would not recommend this hotel. Everything else was good.

Unfortunately for us and the reputation of the hotel, we were booked in the final nightbof the world roller blading contest. The hotel was full of very noisy, foul mouthed young women who crowded all the public areas & corridors, including the restaurant. Service in he restaurant was appallingly slow. None of the hotel staff seemed to be dealing with […] the inconvenience caused to regular guests like ourselves, who did not swear or shout or lounge around half naked in order to get served. Where was the duty manager, I ask myself? Although the food in the restaurant - when it finally dd arrive - was good, the atmosphere was so awful, it ruined it. I would never stay in this hotel again, or recommend it. The only good thing I can think of to say, is that the bed was comfortable, which made up for the fact that the toilet bowl was coming loose from the wall! My experience at Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport was extremely poor. The fire alarm went off for almost 2 hours no apology when checking out. I booked for a certain type of room and was offered
cOMFORTABLE, PRACTICAL ROOMS - NO COMPLAINTS. But the breakfast was dreadful, overpriced, poor food, hot food barely warm. it was a buffet and the waitress came up and demanded a tip when I signed. I dont even drink coffee, so I had Nothing served to me. I felt she was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. never was 2 dollars given so begrudgingly. The hotel is nice and closely located to the airport. The free shuttle is very convenient. I had to wait a short while at the airport. it leaves every half an hour from the hotel. The room was really nice and spacious. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was in a nice restaurant and it was of very good quality, with a choice of warm food, cereals, juices […] and a selection of croissants and pastries. I enjoyed my stay. The only drawback is that the hotel is on the landing line for the airport. You understand when an airplane is approaching the runaway. yet, the hotel is supposedly sound proof and planes stop landing at night, so I had a very good night sleep. If you are coming from the airport and have anything to do in that area this is a great hotel. Its super clean and the staff are very friendly. The airplanes flying overhead are not heard while you sleep.
