Quite a different Best Western which is set up like a motor-inn. Where the entrance is in from the outside/parking lot. There were NO drafts of cool air from window. It;s a country-style decor. Rooms were clean, impressed with cleanliness. I personally thanked the house-keeping with a $5 tip. Overall had a good stay. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room we stayed in was on the old side of the hotel and the bathtub was quite dated. Also the hotel has 2 pools but neither hot tub were working.

Hotel evening staff had a smoke break below our room and we had the window open, they were noisy. The room was mainly clean but a little more detail should be givin to cornors and edges. The breakfast was great and the gentlmen behind the counter was awesome.

The staff at this hotel were fantastic and the room was gorgeous... on the surface. My only criticism would be the cleanliness of the room. I needed to stay in Medicine Hat - business at the hospital. Nice and close to Hospital, 10+ minutes by bus to downtown and another 10 minutes to the MH mall. ALL of the staff was very friendly and helpful. no designated parking even though their was a parking space in fron of our unit. Good bed/mattress. No toiletries, eg. shampoo, conditioner, hair net. Room was clean and comfortable although it needed two chairs for the desk for both of us to use the desk for our laptops. Breakfast was great; Gordon who attended to the breakfast area was friendly and efficient.

For a Best Western Plus I was expecting something a bit more than what it was. It was more like a Best Western, not a Plus. The room was small and the bathroom was very tiny. The staff was pleasant and the room was clean.

I had flowers delivered to the room for out anniversary ahead of time so they would be there waiting when we checked in. They tried to charge me an extra $150.00 deposit on top of the room fees. It's a good thing the chip in my credit card was not working or I would have been irate if this would have been charged. I don't care if this is their policy […] or not! It is a ridiculous policy. They couldn't figure out how to use my card without using the chip so they kept trying different amounts until I just got my flowers out of the room, leaving furious. We went to the Imperial inn and they were kind and helpful and new how to process my card without using the chip. It was painless. I will never stay at a best western......or attempt to stay at a best western again! Read more

Make sure you check your bill, when I went to check out I was shocked to see that another guest bill was put under my account without me knowing. They made no apology or explanation about this and I had to argue to get the changes made.

I would definetely stay at this hotel again. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The lady that was running the kitchen for the breakfasts, even though she was run off her feet, never showed any signs of any one person being a burden to her. She was always polite and running to make sure everything was available for all guests. I was in town for work and needed a nice quiet place to stay. The toilet ran the whole night my frist night so I left a note for housekeeping. Next thing I know it was fixed and water was not being wasted. The room was clean and there are 2 pools that I saw. Great for families or single working travellers, whatever.

The hotel is located just off the highway and although it does not have a restaurant in the hotel, it does provide an awesome continental breakfast and is close to many restaurants. Anything from fast food, to home cooking to excellent dining facilities are within the surrounding blocks and cater to the hotel.
