The shuttle goes only to the Morgan Boulevard Metro stop (not to Largo). The hours are a little restrictive - make sure you know when you can get back at night and don't miss the last available shuttle because the local cabbies rip you off ($12 for a 1-mile ride, albeit in the rain). The washer/dryer worked, but the dryer vent was disconnected so it vented into the room making it very hot and humid. The other hotel amenities all worked well.

The room was clean, but could be spruced up a bit. Staff was friendly and helpful. I called from the National Zoo for directions. The lead me efficiently and were waiting for me out front to waive me in. Well done!

Not to many hotels close to FED EX field and the Skins. A little over a mile, it was as convenient as it could get. Two public computers downstairs is nice. Breakfast area was busy and very crowded. Had to eat in our room because of the cramped space. Overall, I would and will come back when we see the Redskins next year.

This is a clean no frills hotel, the staff was friendly and when we were there most of the other guests were also going to the Redskins game so that was fun.

Great value. The staff could'nt have been better. The shuttle service to the metro worked out perfect, I didn't have to use my car all week. I will stay here again.

The hotel is about 0.6 miles from Metro station. Hotel transport to shuttle has very limited hours. Rooms average. Fitness area compact. Neighborhood busy area.

Stayed here to go to Six Flags America and visit the capital (secondary reason) and the location was perfect for both. We had a car so the shuttle having odd hours did not matter to us. The room was very comfortable, although a bit small, but fine for two people. The door did not close without (almost) slamming it, but only when you closed it from the outside. Our key cards became unactivated twice during the stay, and we were not required to give ID to get them reactivated which is slightly concerning. Most people were very nice and we would stay here again as it was comfortable and food (fast food and IHOP) was close, as well as 6 flags being so close and 15-20 minutes from DC.

The hotel was very nice, the pool hours were dumb only 2-8pm and be very wary of game nights, we stayed multiple nights it was quiet and pleasant except for game night the loud till 5am.

I could not compliment the staff highly enough. I had car trouble and they were able to provide me with jump leads to get me going again and even a staff member to take me to the toyota garage. Hotel was in a good location if you want something that is just outside the city. Would definitely stay there again, with or without car trouble.

The staff was AMAZING. The were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were very nice and had a fridge and a microwave. The location is great, there is a Target, and lots of food choices. The people in the area were friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back next summer. They provide a shuttle bus to the Metro.

This hotel is perfect for anyone going to FedEx Field for a Redskins game and is very comfortable, quiet and clean. We've stayed here twice and plan to stay again.

At first sight everything looks good nice enterance, all empoyees were super nice even the room was nice at first glance. Untill with a little inspection you see the frequent water dripping from the ceiling with prior water damage. No local Tv and a gross bathroom. Now onto the location. thought it wasnt to bad untill a Police officer laughed at me when I told him where I was staying then stating "if this was a weekend I would escort you back to your room and demand they give you your money back, there is nothing but strippers and hookers bringing their clients there". shoppers beware. Price is not everything!

It ain't the Ritz-Carlton, but it was cheap, clean and relatively close to FedEx field, with complimentary shuttle service to the nearby Metro station (limited hours, though). Free breakfast in the lobby area to boot.

Local channels on cable did not work...There was old writing on the walls from prvious guests....door didn't lock securely(had to pull it shut when leaving)

Decent property, wireless was adequete but not speedy, pool didn't open until 2pm, continental breakfast was okay, but prepare to stand in line if you want a waffle. Metro station about a mile walk, or daily parking was 4.25 (aug'09) at the Metro. Pretty limited hotel shuttle hours to the metro, so that option was not very useful. Overall, for the reasonable rate and convinient location, we were well satisfied.

The room is of reasonable size. However, with two large double beds, little space is left for anything else. I had to arrange my chair towards the corner of a suqre table to be able to sit in the chair and work on my laptop. However many times, do people really need two large double beds? At least, there should be some rooms with one large bed and one single bed, which will make the room a lot more useful and pleasant in the evening doing some work with a laptop computer. Otherwise, I am totally happy with this hotel.

Getting into DC was easy due to the free hotel shuttle to the Blue Metro stop.

I booked this hotel based largely on the positive comments posted here, which stated that though the location was far from the metro, there is a shuttle bus that provided service to/from the metro. The truth is that the shuttle only operates from 7-9am and then not again until 5pm-9pm!! The walk is quite far (not the safest walk after 9pm), and a taxi costs $10, so make sure you keep this in mind prior to booking. Also, the free wireless internet was not working during my entire trip; it would work probably 5 min out of every hour, and the front desk was no help.

Our stay at the hotel was exactly what I expected and exactly what I had gathered from reading comments on hotels.com from other previous guests. The room was comfortable, clean and adequate in all ways. the hotel staff were courteous, and extremely helpfull. The location is perfect when considering the price and comparing to other hotels that might be closer to the DC attractions. Distance to the Metro is close. If I had to find one complaint it would be that the shuttle A/C wasn't working. Everything else was perfect, just as expected.

Room and linens are clean, that's most important. Many restaurant and shops down the street, very convinient. Continental breakfast is a plus. We had a pleasant time staying there, will go back in the future.

If the air conditioner was turned off for more than an hour, the room started to smell musty. This may have been due to the carpets being damp.

The hotel was good. If the air conditioners were renewed it would be more confortable.

This is a nice hotel, great king room with frig and microwave. Great location if you have things to do an the east side of the beltway.

A comfortable hotel. Wasn't looking for or expecting anything lavish; this hotel fit the bill for what I was in the area for. Having internet access in the lobby is a great feature. Also enjoyed their free breakfast.

Close proximity to outstanding restaurants and shops

I was offered a great rate for booking four nights, and the reviews left by others on this site helped in making my final decision. Being given the same opportunity, I will say that if you are looking for an affordable, convenient place to stay while visiting DC you cannot go wrong. The metro station is sooo close and convenient especially considering the hotel shuttle and city bus stop right outside. There is a shopping center with Target, CVS, and nice grocery store just a mile or so up the road. The hotel staff is GREAT and so very helpful!!!

This was our third stay with comfort inn Largo/Fed ex Field and we are always very satisfied. Staff was very helpful this stay when our airconditioning was not working well and promptly switched our room.Staff very friendly rooms clean and big. Will stay again if back in area.

ALL WE HAD WAS A SHORT LITTLE METRO RIDE AND WE WERE DOWNTOWN

I was a bit concerned when I reserved a room for my family because the value was so good. It was clean and well kept. The staff was nice and courteous. Our trips to DC were do-able. We would stay again.

I looked hard for an affordable family hotel. I traveled from the west coast and didn't know anything about the Washington DC area, so I was concerned that a lower price could mean an unsafe area. But the Comfort Inn was fine. There was a van-shuttle that ran to and from the MetroRail station which was very convenient and used by many guests. The friendly staff even allowed my family to take the shuttle once outside of the normal hours. The pool was staffed by a lifeguard. They offer a morning breakfast, but everything is totally inedible! The coffee is awful, the food was tasteless; but you can get a newspaper and the staff kept the dinning room clean. The physical condition of the hotel is kept up to a basic level. It can benefit from additional maintenance and is at the verge of required upgrade to stay competative. Examples are that the TV's received only a few stations (about 6-8); the elevators were a constant problem; the card keys constantly lost their magnetic signature. All in all it's an OK facility, and is one of the more affordable options in the Washington DC area.

It is convenient and good quality for the money we spent. The shuttle service to nearest Metro station is convenient and save me money so we do not need to rent a car to visit D.C area.

My only complaint so far is that they don't get the local TV channels on their televisions!

We stayed there last week for the whole week and it was very clean,people working there are sweet. I even met the breakfast lady some people complained about. She's not a grump or the slightlest bit rude. The van people are very nice and helpful,only trouble we had was the 24 hour coffee in the lobby never really was there. I don't think the Night Staff really pay atenttion to that area.But in the summer only true coffee diehards need it. {Dunkin Dognuts is within walking distance} I did tell the Night Staff at the Desk about it and was promised they'd take care of it. {they did not} But in all a great place and well worth the price.

Computers not operating proiperly, equipment not working, not printer to print boarding pass. Lots of security inside the hotel....the neighborhood looked unsafe. My patio door was broken and would not close.
