      I loved staying here. The room was spacious compared to the average hotel rooms. The walls were freshly painted and the red colored accent wall made staying here feeling home. Everything was fresh and clean. Carpet was clean, bathroom was clean, fridge and microwave were clean. It had a coffee maker, flatscreen TV and a brand new iron board and iron. I was surprised this was all included for the money I paid. However, there in no 4G internet connection on your cell phone and most of the time not even a bar to make phone calls. The hotel offers free wifi, but that didn't really work well. It was almost impossible to connect and when there was a connection, it was only for a short time. I dont know if a cable would have worked, but just wifi doesn't. I couldn't do some work on my laptop unfortunately. This is the only reason that I have to find another place in the area when I come back to Monroe.

      I stayed here for 12 days while I found a spot to stay for my job and the staff was nice and the rooms were the most amazing rooms I have seen in a Super 8. I have stayed in other hotels that cost more money and you didn't get near the comfort that I got while I was here.

    We had a last minute need for a reservatoin due to a family funeral. The room was clean, the A/C worked great, bathroom was clean and everthing was just... as we expected it to be. The staff was both courteous and knowledgeable and after having made this reservation on Hotels. com, they confirmed with me that I had/had not already paid online so I would not be charged twice.     The room was clean. The limited staff was attentive. The bed's were on the hard side. Everything did function. The walls and roof carried far too much external sounds. I heard every car door shut and voice outside the door from the parking lot, and between 11 and midnight it sounded like people were doing 100 yard dashes upstairs.     I loved everything about this room. It was very nice, quiet, and extremely clean. The only negative I could find is that I had to go down to the front desk to get an ethernet cord. I really wish they had wireless internet. Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

    First, there is a nearby paper mill that stinks horribly. It smells like fecal mater at all times. Every time the A/C or heater kicks on, the room fills with the stink again. Second, the water is brown. Not a good thing. I would not stay here again even if it was for FREE.
