Best Western Cresta Court Hotel - Altrincham

The hotel was easy to find, and it was very close to all attractions in Manchester. I was there for 3 nights, and I found the room to be comfortable for my needs. I did not like the 9:30am breakfast cutoff, but that seems to be a standard here in the area. I would recommend this hotel.

Hotel was good all round and had excellent restaurant on the premises which met with our needs for a one night en route stop over. Only cheeky bit was 2GBP site parking! Generally a good stay

An average hotel. Rooms are small. Can get noisy, doors really slam shut and could hear guest next door to me going to the toilet. Internet access was poor. It is clean and comfortable though. The area is good, lots of pubs and bars in Altrincham. Staff are alright, they provided OK service.

Very good value for money. I was surprised to secure such a reasonable deal for a 3-night stay in a double room on a single occupancy basis over the August bank holiday weekend! Room a little cramped but otherwise perfectly adequate, complete with flat screen, digital TV, iron and ironing board, tea making facilities and ensuite bathroom with both […] bath and shower. Very clean, comfy and airy. Very little noise disturbance from the main road outside (thanks to the double glazing), but interior walls a little thin. Comfortable bar and reasonable restaurant food including satisfactory breakfast buffet. The only frustration was the fact that there were wedding parties in everyday, from when I arrived on Friday through to Sunday evening, which meant that it was very noisy downstairs and the bar was crowded, resulting in a lengthy wait to get a drink and also making it a bit of an isolated and uncomfortable experience for a single traveller (two of my party were in a nearby B&B, the rest were staying in Hale!). Room was on first floor and was away too warm even with the radiator turned off and the window open. It is a good hotel and very cheap to stay in.

Room on third floor a bit tired and in need of updating. The hotel was easy to find although the car park was very full. The room was smallish but clean and had decent coffee making facilities. The main difficulty came when trying to have a shower as the water pressure was pitiful and the temperature was lukewarm even with the dial set to 50 degrees. Good hotel, I personally had a quiet, clean and warm room, reasonable size for the money. Car parking spaces are a bit small and on the short side but apart from that an enjoyable stay.

The food was mainly reheated and poor quality. Chicken pie-pastry soggy, chicken and gravy gelutinous, and topped with thick salty dark brown gravy. Seasonal veg were frozen. Pizza needed longer cooking as base undercooked.Cheese-for cheese and biscuits in plastic portions, apple pie(defrosted) soggy.Breakfast bacon and sausages obviously cooked before […] service started so overcooked and dried out if you turned up at 8.30am. Bathroom compact-sitting knees are under sink-a man would not be able to stand and aim! space between bed and desk so tight easier to sit on bed rather than stool to work. I took my partner here for his birthday and he loved it the staff in the hotel where so nice and helpful, the woman behind the bar called nicola was really lovely and helpful and talking to us all the time and told us what was around, the hotel room was lovely and clean great hotel coming back here again x

We stayed for 1 night to go to a concert in manchester. Our room was spacious and clean but faced a busy main road. There is only 1 lift and it was broken, we saw a few elderly people struggle with the stairs. We arrived back at the hotel at 11:15 pm as there was nowhere open for a drink in Altrincham town centre and THE RESIDENTS BAR WAS SHUT AT 11PM! […] We have never experienced this in any hotel before. Very comfortable and well maintained hotel. Check in was fast and efficient and food very good at reasonable prices.Close to Metrolink station which is a big plus for travelling to city and Old trafford for game. Prices much more attractive than city centr prices

I am quite tall and found the room a bit small, but service was good eg the tv or the remote control wasn't working properly. The friendly person at reception figured it out, gave me a different remote and it worked! When the shower gel ran out it was replaced by the time I had finished breakfast after I mentioned it. We found the Cresta Court Hotel to be an excellent choice, good value, friendly staff, and the breakfast menu was well presented and hot. we would certainly use this hotel again.

Not a Bad place Just not great, breakfast was good, and staff were helpful theres a tram line straight to the city centre and old trafford is 7 stops.

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, we found the staff very helpful, warm and approachable The hotel facilities were great and I would recommened this hotel to all friends. We chose the Cresta Court as hotels in Manchester were simply too expensive and the nearby Metro made in extremely easy to travel into the City. The only downside was (unbeknown to us) the hotel is used for wedding receptions at the weekend and the disco continued until 1am. If you are looking for a convenient hotel for a reasonable rate close to Manchester then this is a great option. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent. Rooms are small but clean, the only slight issue was the heat in the rooms. Opening the window didnt help it was that hot!! Would definitely recommend for short stays

The car park was very full and it was difficult to find parking which you have to pay a daily rate for. The staff were however, very friendly and pleasant the room although small was comfortable. I couldn't make the shower work and there were no instructions and there was only tea or coffee available in the room (neither of which I drink). The walls […] were very thin and I was awoken early by other peoples alarm clocks having found it difficult to get to sleep until the adjoining rooms had turned off the programmes they were watching. At breakfast I found I had not been put down as having any and had to prove that I had booked this as an extra to get my pass changed, my access card on 3 separate occasions would not let me into my room and I had to go to reception to get it working again. Warm geeting and able to move room on request as there was a wedding on so we wanted to be quite and out of the way. Parking can be a bit limited if a big event on and we were luck to get one of the last spaces. Excellent location for town where we were going to the beer festival.

Lets start with the positives - the bed linen was clean and the bed was comfortable. Similar for the towels. Now the negatives - the room is very small and looking shabby, with cobwebs at the time of the stay presentin front of the window in three places. The net curtains are stained and the sealant around the window is black with mould. This is repeated […] in the bathroom where the shower curtain is stained, the ceiling water paper is peeling and tiles are in need of a good clean. The worst thing about the room though was the large extract fan that is located just outside the window which you need to keep open to stay cool is sufficiently noisy to prevent a good night sleep. All in even though the price was good, the room was not up to what I expect of a 3 star and western hotel reputation. Wish I had looked around a bit more, though if all you want is a clean bed, on a budge and chosen one of the other hotels or B&B's However if all you want is a clean bed on a budget and you have some earplugs this could be the place for you. Vi åkte hit för att titta på Manchester United och hotellet låg då perfekt. Det var billigt att ta sig antingen med buss direkt från flygplatsen eller taxi. Sen från busshållplatsen var det en kort promenad på max 5 minuter innan man var vid hotellet. Vid busshållplatsen låg även hållplatsen för spårvagn som tar en direkt till Old Trafford. Allgemein eine gute Austattung, jedoch lässt die Sauberkeit und teilweise auch die Austattung etwas zu wünschen übrig. Sehr freundlichen Personal. Für einen Kurztrip ideal.
