"Great base for Roturua"

The room was great-- clean and airy. We had a one-bedroom with hot tub, which we used each night. Good sized rooms, and an enormous bathroom. Owner is very knowledgable about the area, and willing to make lots of great suggestions. Generally, the hotel escapes the sulphur smells of town, though the winds were in our direction one night. Not overpowering, though. Easy drive into town, and within 1/2 mile of Zorbing (highly recommended!!), Kiwi Encounter, etc.
