Beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the food was good. The "heated" pool was most certainly not what I'd consider heated. It was FREEZING when my husband and I went in. They need to turn up that thermostat if they want to keep calling it "heated".

Overall it was a clean and comfortable place to spend the night. Clarissa, at the front desk, was most friendly and exceeded our expectations on being checked in. Downside was the pools were not working and those were a main reason we selected this hotel on our route.

Plenty of space in the rooms and a reasonable buffet breakfast. Rooms are looking a little worn however. Last stayed here on a trip about 3 years ago, and sine then, the carpets look worn and the bathroom needs a good update. Not terrible, for the price, but had remembered it looking better.

Stayed in an interior room, but the room locks needed updating, to enter you needed the card/electronic swipe but inside was 2 deadbolt types but no chain/ sliding type, which I prefer. Appliances (fridge/microwave) were nice, and bathroom looked updated. Carpet was a bit iffy but overall the room fit our need. This hotel was very convenient for us as we were on the road back from Florida and it is only 6 hours to Toronto from there. Like most of your Best Westerns, they are very tired looking, and need an update, but the service is friendly and the rooms are comfortable when you are only staying one night.

After reading reviews, I decided to try it since it was $20 cheaper than Hampton and HI. Now, we have a home away from home as my daughter attends BGSU next fall. The whirlpool room was excellent. If you are into nautical workouts, there were many choices of equipment. The were many choices for breakfast (but not like Comfort Suites). McD's is in walking […] distance. We had orientation for our son at Bowling Green State University. After looking at hotels near Bowling Green, we decided on Best Western Falcon. We liked the proximity to the school and the price. I was a little nervous, since we had never been to this hotel prior. We read the reviews and felt somewhat confident . When we arrived late on a Friday evening, […] we were pleasantly met by the front desk attendant. She was very infomative on all the aspects of the hotel and explained the the Best Western frequent guess program. Also she asked my son about Bowling Green and shared info that she knew as her daughter was a student there. We then headed to our room on the second floor. It was very easy to get to and when we entered the room we were very pleased with the room. It was very clean, spacious and appealing to the eye. We had a very nice stay for our first visit. I was hesitant to book this hotel based on some poor reviews, but needed to be on campus very early & the other hotels were booked. We were pleasantly surprised. The lobby was bright & clean with fresh-baked cookies awaiting our arrival. Our room was very clean and well-appointed.
