Comfortable and clean and quiet.
"Very convenient to convention center"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Friendly, competent staff, beautiful public spaces, great location if you're attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center. Room was a bit dated, had no safe or fridge, merely adequate bathroom.

"For the price, a good deal"
Pros: The hotel was one of the lowest priced in the area; hotel, including parking area appeared clean and safe; staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: Bed was lower end (pillows were new though), rooms hadn't been updated in quite some time.
"Falls Church"
We had a good time. Breakfast very good, and room clean.
"Best Western Fall's Church, VA"
I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights on a business trip. Overall it was fine accommodation--basic, quiet, clean, convenient. The neighborhood was mainly residential apart from small shopping malls along Arlington. Several really good restaurants within walking distance. The only complaint I heard from guests was that the second floor is accessible only […] by a hike up the stairs--not so easy for some with their luggage. Read more
"Best Western Falls Church Inn-a Hidden Gem"
Our family stayed at the Best Western Falls Church Inn while we visited D.C. This hotel is located in the suburbs, yet near to the metro, restaurants and shopping. The rooms in this hotel were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning and the very friendly staff. For the price this is an excellent value. We will plan to stay […] again next time we are in the area. Read more
"great staff"
Although the hotel is quite old, the location is perfect. It is very close to Old town Alexandria and only a few minutes away from the bridge into DC. The staff was great. Would be nice if they had refrigerators in the room though.

"Best Western Falls Church-Clean rooms great staff"
I regularly visit this hotel as it is located near my office. The staff is kind and the rooms are all clean. Recently, they are including a great free breakfast. I recommend it to anyone needing to stay in the Falls Church VA area.
"Best Western in Arlington, VA - good location"
Ordinary, no frills, outdated decor but good location, easy to find, and reasonably priced. Listed as a non-smoking hotel but my room had a distinct smoky odor in it - fortunately it didn't transfer to the pillows and linens which smelled fresh. No fridge or microwave available in room. Hot breakfast buffet was okay.
"Needs renovation"
We were on the second floor, on two rainy nights. The sound of the rain hitting the roof was so loud, we couldn't sleep. This was just a normal rainfall, nothing intense. The bathroom is small, the furniture is sparse, and the breakfast HORRIBLE.

"Clean but no Elevator"
I would stay here again, only a short drive to Ballston pkg garage (cheap pkg, get on metro). I wish the outside doors locked, but other than that, no real complaints.

"Best Western Falls Church"
Clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. Stayed there on the way south and made reservation and stayed there again on the way back.

The motel was very outdated and old but very clean. The breakfast was mediocre. We accidently turned the heat on and the smoke alarm went off, a burning odor. The room was spacious. Inconvenient using the luggage rack because of the stairs.
"best western falls church, virginia"
my motel stay was fine. the room was clean and the employees were pleasant. i did, however, the exterior of the room did smell very smokey AND the pool hours were inconvenient. the pool didn't open until 1pm. i would recommend the motel with these privisos. i thought it was cool that IHOP was within walking distance.

"Helpful staff"
Joline was wonderful and helpful. She helped me with my reservation mix up and made great recommendations for places to eat. Overall, the hotel was accomodating to my needs and clean.
"Best Western Falls Church--Beware!!"
The room was musty! The sheets and bedding felt damp as well as the room. Security at this hotel is a real concern. Came back from dinner and noticed that anyone could walk in the side doors of the hotel. No keys required, unbelievable! Hotel is very outdated. Lastly, stay away from the IHOP next door, scrubbing floors with bleach during breakfast!
"Not satisfied at all"
Staff was very nice, but do not follow directions well.

"OK"
I lived in the neighborhood for many years, so was familiar the property and its surroundings. It's an older hotel with some updating. It was clean and relatively quiet, although it is used by tours, with some evening noise in the halls. The air conditioning worked well, and the beds were comfortable. There's no phone near where the computer would hook […] up, so business calling is inconvenient. Housekeeping paid no attention to the supposed "ecofriendly" services. No non-slip coating on the bottom of the bathtub, so footing was precarious. It's not near the subway, so you need a car or bus, and traffic on Route 50 is heavy in the morning and evening. I wish the rate had been lower, but it was better than in Ballston, where I needed to work. Read more
"Convenient for our needs"
We were visiting family in Arlington, so this was a good choice for us and the best price we could find for the location. Room was fine, shower was awesome, but internet access in the room was non-existent.
"Just what I needed while in NOVA on business"
I was on a fast business trip that required my traveling to Falls Church from Richmond. Just a few miles off 495N, this Best Western was easy to find and very conveniently located to where I needed to be the next day. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient, and I enjoyed the restaurant's breakfast, which was bountiful and a bargain. My […] room was incredibly spacious and very clean, and I appreciated the absence of unnecessary signage. I would stay here again and not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone heading to this part of the state. Read more
"the hotel in VA"
I would like stay again
"Falls Church Best Western"
Beds worn out and way to soft. NO exhaust fan in bathroom. Ajoining Mexican resturant had no tequilla, food was terrible and overpriced. Pool doesn't open untill 1pm.
"D.C. on the busline"
This hotel is convenient to transit if you don't mind riding the city bus - and they're a nice way to see the town without spending a fortune on cabs. Buy a SmartTrip card and you ride cheaply! Issue with this hotel was the location of the room I was in and noise. I use a hotel to sleep but sleep was not in the cards my first night since my room was […] next to the internal stairwell. This is apparently the main thoroughfare from 1st to 2nd floor and the frequent banging of the fire doors lasted until after midnight. There seemed to be an unusual number of children running the hallways and stairs until very late and each "footstep" could be clearly heard. I even turned on the AC for "white noise" but it did not help drown out the noise. To the credit of the manager, he moved me the next night to an upgraded room after I mentioned this issue. However, even then I had to stick my head into the hall to tell the kids to keep quiet - they were running through the second floor hallway again and talking VERY loudly right outside my doorway. Don't parents control their kids anymore? (I know I sound like a grumpy old man, but really, where did common courtesy go?) Aside from this somewhat uncontrollable situation, the hotel staff was as helpful as can be expected. The hotel has a nice bar/restaurant attached and the food was decent and reasonable. Read more
