stayed 3 nights. First 2 nights were too hot to sleep comfortabley. We arrived when the temperatures outside were 20 degrees above normal, so it took them a couple of days to catch up with their A/C. But the 3rd night was good. Beds clean and comfortable. Fab breakfast. Nice staff. Would probably stay again but would call ahead on A/C.

I made my reservation through Hotels.com for a king size bed. I got a room with 2 queens. The it was cold and I called for assistance. I wanted it fixed fast because I was going to be there a short time due to an early flight time. It took much longer than I had hoped and eventually I got moved to a handicap room. Good rate.

The rooms were quite large compared to other local hotels. Easy access to the airport and i 94. They were in the process of renovations. Still the service was still good. Breakfast was delicious and had options of each group to choice from. I definitely would stay again.

Holy cow. Air conditioning that didn't work. Then we were moved to a room with working air but it had obviously been smoked in very recently...in a non-smoking hotel. Very noisy exterior doors. Outdated furnishings and carpets. Small, square sofa pillows on the bed. The whirlpool wasn't functioning. Hotel is showing its age. Very dated look to the exterior of the hotel. In the room there were elements such as curtains and tub that showed lots of wear and tear. Hotel was just 5 miles from downtown with easy highway access.

The hallways were not air conditioned. we were there in July when it was 100 degrees outside. to say the halls were hotter than the dickens is an understatement. We needed a place to stay and this fit the bill. not sure I would stay here again. Pool area looked nice- probably one of the nices we've seen at a hotel.

I'm somewhat confused by the high rating for this hotel. They are currently working on it but it is work that is long overdue. First they "couldnt find" us in the system to get our rewards. But many inexcusable things... much of the property had a faint, old cigarette odor. It seems that every piece of furniture in this property has been abused and […] piled up. We unpacked, including a few things in the fridge. The fridge didn't seem to be working and I couldn't connect to the wifi. Then I picked up the phone to ask for assistance and our telephone didn't work. We walked down to the front desk. An apologetic young man gave us a (supposedly) slight upgrade. We loaded everything onto a cart and moved to literally the farthest room in the hotel. It couldn't be more inconvenient. This room had the same beat up furnishings except a pull out couch that had a note on it that it hadn't been cleaned (yummy). It was so uncomfortable, we had to put bed pillows under the cushions to sit on it. The fridge was inexplicably not in the correct location under the microwave, leaving a big unsightly 'hole'. Instead it was shoved under the counter by the bathroom and we had to lift it up to open the door. The shower curtain was mildewed. Everything in the room was unplugged. We tried the TV and no dice. It took 45 minutes to get someone to look at it. This property is overpriced and overrated. Barely vacuumed carpets, hair from previous guests in the bathroom, uncomfortable, unsightly furniture. This place has got some age on it and definite signs of wear but overall it's good place to stay. You can't get closer to the airport (and surprising not very noisy), there's plenty of restaurants and some light shopping nearby, and is less than 2 miles from the highway inabling you to reach downtown Milwaukee in less than 10 minutes.

Housekeeping needs to learn how to dust, vacuum carpet, clean tubs, eliminate mold and mildew, and wipe soap scum off sinks. Maintenance needs to learn how to touch up paint and patch drywall. The ownership/management needs to spring for new towels, washcloths, and bathmats; every towel and washcloth in my room was frayed around the edges as was the […] bathmat which also had two quarter-sized holes in it. This hotel supposedly just underwent renovation; the lack of upkeep has allowed it to become run-down already.
